@Do_Not_LieI agree that Dual Pistols are a fuc***ng CANCER to that game and even more in QP like Crytek wanted so much to suck the c0ck of casuals that half the time you spawn with that and at least 1/3 of the weapon boxes are stupid Dualies! It's crazy how I struggle so hard every time to just find a goddamn small single pistol so I have something to use with a long slot, like wtf?!?

Had issues with leading targets until ~1k hours in the game. Now, with 1.3k+ hours in the game when I am more or less able to hit distant moving targets intuitively, the actual calculation process looks like overcomplication x)
Still a great material, especially for the newcomers. Great job

Honestly, this might just be the most useful hunt showdown guide I've seen in a while for me.
I can somehow forget how much to lead weapons (especially since I didn't had concrete data on it) which has leads to a period of relearning them all over again from videos, streams and gameplay. And sometimes I also lose my graps on in due to shots that should, from the knowledge I had on it, not hit at all, and they still hit, so my brain forgets a good part of what I had learned based on feeling the weapon. It also makes Hunt a living hell sometimes because I don't have anyone I can just call up to test the speeds and get this back quickly, so my 1200 hours in this game have quite a lot of wasted hours of me relearning this basic knowledge as best as I can.
Hopefully, this will just allow me to not doubt myself and enable me to just remember how to when I forget again. You are truly a gift this community

    top tier video 👌
one thing i've found is an easier way to apply this is to note the '1 head lead distance' of whatever velocity you're running, so you only have to keep 1 number in your head
instead of: engagement --> note distance --> "damn what was it again??"
it's: note distance --> how many 1hl distances is that --> that's your lead, since it's all linear which i've taken for granted but makes it so easy
e.g. strafe engagement at ~45m, 1hl for strafing for this velocity is at 30m, 45 = 30*1.5, so lead ~1.5 heads
it's super easy to add to the spreadsheet, i obviously don't need to tell you this but it's just (1hl) * V * (strafe/sprint constant)
i also hereby declare (hl) an SI unit
keep up the good work ✌

I guess this is exactly why A-D strafing bones me so hard in Hunt. I cant deal with it cause i dont even know where to shoot with muzzle velocities when someone is wiggling. I just wish this game would get at least some minor inertia like TF2 has.
People wiggling around is extremely hard for me to deal with and ruins any immersion in this gritty hardcore shooter.
