I made a big boomy pyromancer with Runemaster. I’m definitely underutilizing the abilities of invocations, but the absolute destruction and mob clearing abilities as well as boss damage is pretty damn great. It’s a glass cannon, pretty squishy, so ward could use some love but I’m sure that’s from my passive choices versus what is available for this build.
I would say that Aergon's Mirror Bolt (Ice Ice Fire) is also a great defensive option, as long as you have an enemy in range. Produces a huge amount of ward very quickly to complement Frostguard's continuous ward generation.
The problem with runemaster is that you have to split your damage in 3 elements to fully utilize all invocations. PLUS you need to actually think playing this.
