Except for fleur, which I can't fit into my theory, I'd say words ending in -eur are masculin , if they are employment titles (moteur fits too, because its the job of a motor to move something) and feminin, if they are states (humeur, couleur, valeur).

Bonjour! Je trouve cela intéressant comment certains mots sont masculins en France mais féminins au Québec! Par exemple, au Québec, on dit LA job, LA Covid-19 et dernièrement, l'Office québécois de la langue française a accepté trampoline au féminin!
Évidemment, 99,9% des mots ont le même genre les deux côtés de l'Atlandique.

Many words from AAVE African American Vernacular have rolled into traditional America English because it's recognized and appreciated in its own right by many linguist experts.
