    So if the property has a well put irrigation system with plenty of water, why is the grass dead?
    You basically added some watering time plus fertilizing . I don’t think that water was the problem because the grass had been on a water schedule but not bad to cause all that stress

    No need to apologize for covering up your work number. The only people that would take offense or think it was rude are the selfish ones that feel they're "privileged" and only care about themselves. Now if they wanna pay you for your time then that's a different story, but if not then by no means should they be calling your business, that's your source of income! Not to mention you already take plenty of your time to give us all the great videos that you do, that aren't full of, "Go buy this", just cuz they sponsor you, you give us your honest opinions. Everybody should respect that without being told to but unfortunately that's not how many people nowadays are. Keep up the great work!🖒🖒🖒👊

    Hi Pete! I just started watching your channel this week. I am dealing with a stressed out lawn that look's like this video, but not as bad. I started using milorganite myself for the first time 2 days ago. But I have now seen another product called "Ringer lawn restore" and even though I have put down milorganite already. I would like to throw down some Ringer as well for the results I've seen on video's are quicker then milorganite. Plus the nitrogen in Ringer is higher a 10. With no rain in the Texas area, my lawn is feeling it. I do have a sprinkler system that needed repair and it's now running fine. But even with me running the sprinkler at 30min. per section doesn't seem to be enough with above 100-degree temps. I am also interested in buying the Bio-Stimulant Package to help restore my Lawn. O.k., back to watching this video. Oh! before I forget the Bio-Stimulant Package can I use all 4 products now in summer.

    I can't believe people who call Pete just to call and bother him. Listen people unless you have business with him with lawn care in his area. Don't bother him. Just to let you know Pete, don't know if it is the same # or not you covered up on your shirt but people can still find it other ways if you know what I mean.👍that is one of the problem with being a legitimate business owner and running a UA-cam channel.

    Hey. Pete! It'll be interesting to see how much you are able to recover this lawn simply by Milo and an aggressive watering schedule. Why did you choose to use Milo rather than your own fert on this lawn? Was this homeowner not watering his lawn at all even though he has an irrigation system? If so, either he did not know how to program the system (which seemed kind of simple to understand) or he spends money on an irrigation system and then is just lazy not to use it. Pete, you may want to go back and change those spraying times to 8:00, 10:30, 1:00, and 3:30 (2-1/2 hours apart). I'll be looking for the follow up video on this lawn.

    Pete, those bags of Milorganite are the "classic" style. They will be about the same prill size as the consumer variety, just packed in bigger bags for professional use (50lb vs 36 lb). If it was "greens grade", it would say that where it says "classic". Same nutrients, just different prill sizes.

    Hi Pete why milo instead of GCI Mico Green and other Academy combo options?

    • @Lawnvolution
      @Lawnvolution 6 років тому

      Eileen Jones soil dried up and too compacted for the liquid application to get to roots. Also, using verticut or aeration might be too excessive considering the condition of existing turf. Pete will probably put his academy apps when proper saturation of soil is achieved.

      Read what George Popa just wrote. He hit the nail on the head!!! I will add to that...I know what the academy fert does, been using it 4 years now. First year trying milo so I want to put it to the test

      great the academy side bounced back with a vengeance and the milo side did as well. The milo side began to struggle a little after a week or 2 with no rain though. academy side holding strong

      @Doober80 6 років тому

      GCI Turf Services, haha yes sir. Front is roughly 2,500 sqft and back is roughly 2,000 sqft. I wish I had triple that.

    • @GCITurf
      @GCITurf  6 років тому +1

      BRO!!!! SUPER EASY irrigation install!!! You would have ZERO issues doing that... What's holding you back???

    • @Doober80
      @Doober80 6 років тому

      GCI Turf Services ya it would be easy for sure and have always wanted to put one in. But , I have a huge pin oak tree in the front and I am sure the trenching would probably kill the tree because of the roots. Plus, I just don’t know how much longer we will be staying here. We love our little house but need more room as we are currently working on getting permanent guardianship of my lady’s little sister.

    • @GCITurf

      I know this is an old post, but thought i would comment. City water is expensive because of the waste water treatment fees added into your bill, based on usage. I used to live in the city, and the house had two hook ups for water. One to the house, and one to the sprinkler system, two separate bills. Didn't have to pay for waste water fees on the sprinkler system.
