This is an awesome video. We are psychologically wired to click on titles that evoke those three emotions mentioned - curiosity, desire or fear. Expanding beyond UA-cam though I’d also add joy and pride to the mix. The same principles apply when we are running Digital PR campaigns for our clients. The stories that do best usually evoke a sense of pride (and those are usually the rankings style stories eg best cities for x) because regional journalists love covering what their city has been recognized for. It all comes down to human psychology.
Great video. I can't help thinking though that AI is going to be doing all of this stuff in no time. Anything that has any kind of formula is going to be figured out by AI.
