would like to thank you very much for taking the time to put this video on " Tension Assembly & Replacement for Sailrite Ultrafeed Sewing Machines ". solved a massive problem for me
Hello and thank you for the clear explanations. My machine has a few extra pieces such as a round plate the size of the discs and tiny metal gaskets. The machine is Morse 4300. Are you familiar with these?
Hi thank you very much for this video please I have got brother B755-Mk 3 my tension spring break and I have bought I new one but when I unscrew it the old spring is not coming out I have tried everything please do I need to open the head part of the machine to get the spring out? Thank you please kindly help me I need my sewing machine
The washer ring with the bar in the middle (goes on before the spring), this piece only works on my machine put on the opposite way you're putting it on. I wonder why? I tried excactly what your video shows and my pieces never fit right just because of that one washer before the spring. I had to flip it around opposed to your video and guide book instructions. I'm thinking, it may be a typo in the book or if there or some machines just made differently?
+Sailrite I have the Blue LSZ-1. I';ve tried it several times the way the video and the book shows it, but it doesn't fit right because of the last washer before the spring. So out of curiousity, I've placed that piece the other way around where the round side of the bowl (convex side) is facing out towards my face...and everything fits great and the tension responds correctly; sews fine. I just found this weird, but I'm still happy with the machine. I feel I may need to do a video response to better display this.
+kurinwonderful I think the issue with your tension assembly is this: The tension assembly is pushed too far into the casting of the machine. So... the only way yours works is by turning the cup washer with bar backwards. If you follow this video your issue will be fixed and you can turn the cup washer with bar around correctly: ua-cam.com/video/uq-8S1hhkDw/v-deo.html
Help Please! My entire tension assembly unit comes completely out. Is there a screw that might have gotten loose? I can't seem to see what holds it in place from coming out completely.
Thank you. I have a 1974 New Home Janome 535 machine and many of your videos seem to have the exact same parts and layout. Bobbin area and upper thread tension, needle threading from side, etc.
Me ayudó bastante me sirvió el video. Lo desarme justo esta parte y me olvide ver como estaba antes de desarmarla. Y con tu video lo logre armar gracias.
These videos are a trove of info when you are having problems. I had a brain fart and loosened the knob instead of tightening it. Well, the whole assembly came apart on me. I kept installing the tension plates incorrectly as it needs two to work, one will get you nowhere fast! LS-1 is back in action!
