- Welcome back to the final episode of Cuphead - The Delicoous Last Course! This is the final episode (at least for the story) and what an incredible end it is. Everything about this DLC was perfect and I had a blast playing through. Enjoy the video!

You can use the cursed relic on any bosses to unlock the divine relic. You just have to beat like 6. You can technically go back to Inkwell Isle 1 and mop up on normal difficulty and still get it. The cursed relic sets your starting health to 1 and cycles out your guns and charms when you use them. The divine relic starts you off with normal hp, but still cycles your guns every time you shoot and gives you the powers of the smokebomb, whetstone parry, and parry heart charms all at the same time. It's incredibly powerful if you can deal with the guns cycling out.
Gun cycling isn't even that bad, because it doesn't swap unless you stop shooting. So besides the charge shot, you can keep whatever weapon you want at any point.
@@thexp905 true, but it also switches every time you dash. Which most people do frequently in this game. It's still an easy trade off that I'd make any time. But, it is worth noting that it's difficult to S rank bosses when you have to randomly change guns with no particular order every time you dash or release the shoot button.

Man, despite some DLC's being short, they are incredible to play and this is no exception

The secret boss is part of a quest. After killing it I believe the charm changes and you have to beat every boss in the dlc using it. The charm randomizes all your weapons, charms, and brings you down to 1 hp. If you complete it you get the (in my opinion) best charm in the game.

You don't actually have to beat the DLC bosses to turn it into the divine relic. I just beat all the Isle 1 bosses and a couple of Isle 2 bosses with it and it worked :)

@@statewidecrib2155 I've seen a lot of confusion on this cause I don't think people check the wiki all too much for these things. The relic needs 16 points to turn into the Paladin Relic, and the way you earn these points is by beating bosses on normal. Inkwell Isle I's bosses are worth 2 points, II's are 2.5, III and IV's are worth 3, King Dice and his minions are 1 each, and the Devil and Saltbaker are worth 4
Looking forward to this but also sad it’s the end. Hope we get more DLC in the future, or even a sequel. That being said whatever MDHR work on next, if it’s anything as great as this game, it will definitely be worth the wait. ☕️❤️💫
If they continue, maybe the story will be a solution to bring Chalice back to alive
Hate to admit this but it's called "The delicious LAST course" for a reason
And knowing it took the same amount of time for the original game to be made (being completely 2D animated then old fashioned way and all)
A sequel or at least a similar project would be supported cause waiting for DLC is like waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3 long

The old time cartoon style, the animations and the boss battles are just so good. There really don’t be anything like this. It really will withstand the rest of time for sure
Even if it is the end, Ryan i recomend that you enjoy everything in the dlc, there's still lots of content.
Tip: You don’t need to fight DLC bosses to complete the relic challenge, you can beat it by just playing old bosses on Expert.
It doesn't have to be expert, I did 8 old bosses on regular and it turned into the divine relic.

Whenever you let go of the trigger with the cursed relic your attack thing changes, deafeating all bosses however in the dlc turns the cursed relic into the divine relic which allows you to swap through every attack you have.

It's actually extremely worth it to do the cursed artifact challenges because it gives you the best charm in the game. (All weapons choosable mid battle, parry's give you extra lives, parrying non pink enemies damages them, and invincible dash) it took me a day to beat not only the entire dlc but the cursed relic challenges so it isn't actually too much work to do.
Ngl Saltbaker is actually scary lmao. Man's just mercilessly murders ingredients during his fight.

So really what the cursed relic does is that when you switch bullets it will be a random bullet and random charm each time and if you beat all bosses with it, when doing so the cursed relic gets very op
Chef Saltbaker mallets a baby Sugar Cube, Slices a bunch of Limes, and cuts the dough into pieces. And y'know what he got sentenced to? Community Service.
Ryan when you defeat the secret boss the broken relic turns into the cursed relic now you have to beat every boss including the final one and it will turn into the divine relic the expert mode will be easier to do with this equipped (I’m not completely sure about this but I’m pretty sure it will help)

I actually genuinely think this is the best DLC EVER MADE in a game
Here's a guide about the Cursed Relic: aside for reducing your HP to 1, it randomizes your weapon every time you let go of the "fire" button. Also, the first few parries will not charge the card meter. The Relic does, however, give you some benefits:
>Every X dashes will have the Smoke Bomb effect, making you invulnerable during the dash.
>Every X parries will be replaced by a special spin attack, which allows you to damage bosses by parrying them.
>The first few parries will give you extra health, up to 3 hearts.
>After upgrading the Relic for the first time, it will passively charge your card meter.
The relic can be upgraded by defeating bosses. Basically, every boss you defeat will add points to an hidden score; King Dice and his minions give 1 point each, regular bosses give 2~3 depending on the isle, and the final bosses give 4 (the chess bosses give nothing). The Relic is upgraded every 4 points, with the final upgrade at 16.
Also, the King's Leap just allows you to fight the chess bosses any time you want, or fight all of them in a row boss-rush style.
A small note for those who didn't notice - in the final panel of the credits, Chalice and the Cups are all alive. Apparently, chef Saltbaker found a way to bake the wondertart WITHOUT a soul ingredient...

with the relic you can defeat 8 bosses from the normal islands and it still counts
Hey Ryan here’s how you unlock the divine relic which comes from the cursed relic in Cuphead the delicious last course so in order to unlock the divine relic you have to play through all bosses again with the cursed relic in hand and once you do that it turns into the divine relic with allows you to switch weapons when you dash and use multiple relics at the same time
only in Cuphead will someone fight you, not using the giant axe that they're holding, but with the sparks coming off the grindstone they're using to sharpen it
Fun fact. The skeleton in the secret boss is the devils skeleton. Hes actually holding the world with a unused Sprite for a unused second phase

That final battle is absolutely gorgeous though, like they must have spend a considerable amount of time working on the animations and polish because my god... it's just so beautiful
I have a tip for the cursed relic. you do not need to beat all the dlc bosses fight the main bosses from the non dlc. You need to beat 6,8,10,13, I recommend 13 bosses from the non dlc and spin around so you get get 1 extra health from the cursed relic! Hope this helps.
Reference: The two puppets during the second phase of the giant is king dice and the devil from the main game.
If you talk to the cactus girl on the bottom right she will tell you the order of the bosses you need to kill and if you do all of her quest you get a special cosmetic
bro glumstone the giant is one of the hardest levels in the game and this man legit first tried it
again like I said in the last video there's a secret in doggone dogfight (the level with a screen rotate) if you shoot the 4 dogs when they fight you shoot all of them till their jetpack smoke becomes gray instead of white they will retreat and during the 3rd phase which is now easier cause the screen won't rotate anymore and instead of lazers they throw pineapple grenades

Ryan just letting you know if you beat all the main bosses the main ones not count the parry challenges with the Cursed Relic it will become the blessed Relic which grants you a huge perk letting you use ALL weapon types and such
When you think about it what the chef is doing to those ingredients is actually soo messed up
Thare is also a secret wenn you talk to the cactus lady, she will revrens bosses from the main game. You have fight all the bosses from the main game with ms chalice.

You don't have to fight the bosses on the Island, you need to fight 7 bosses on any island to unlock the divine relic.
Just if someone wants to know, for the Cursed Relic, you only need to fight 8 bosses, not EVERY boss in the game.
Fun fact: if you beat every boss with the cursed relic you get a charm named the Devine relic.
Hey Ryan there’s a new secret filter for chalice, chalice will turn gold and white and to unlock you have to go up to the cactus and talk to it and it will say a boss without saying it’s name example there are 3 vegetables that have been annoying to me and that’s would be the root pack fight them on regular and then go back to her and she will give you a different boss to fight keep doing that and bam you will have a secret chalice filter your welcome 😁👍
If you plan on doing this again, some tips for the different shots because you REALLY need some help with those:
Tracer/Parry: Use when you or the enemy are moving constantly and cannot stand still, or if their weakness is hard to reach (optimal for run and guns).
Wide/Convergence: Use if the enemy is standing in a single location or if their movements are slow or minimal.
Boomerang: Use only when the enemy is forcing you into the opposite direction, this shot is stronger when it's veering back.
Lobber/Twist: Use only when the enemy is solely beneath or above you.
Charge: If you feel overwhelmed by enemy fire across all levels, keep this as a primary shot just in case. It'll make up for most of your defensive dodging.
Fun Fact:you can play the normal levels as challice, that when completed the normal game with her unlocks the hidden screenfilter that makes her golden,also there is still more to do in the game,as defeating the run and gun without killing any one, or completeing the game in expert mode to unlock the new Impossible mode that makes the game......a lot harder
The cursed relic challange can be completed in 2 ways, you need to defeat all dlc bosses with the cursed reloc. Or you can defeat 7 non-dlc bosses and 1 dlc boss with the cursed relic
Ryan, the other 62% that isn't completed are the bosses in isle 1 and 2. You have to beat them all over again.
Finally get to see your reaction of the ending of the DLC!!!
You dont have to beat every boss with one health only 5 to 10 then you will notice changes with the charm and if you are lucky you can get hp on parries because it randomises charms and bullets. But do it with king dice because there are health ups and many rsgular mode bosses to speed up the process.
so glad they didn't pull a silksong and be like "jokes on you, it's a brand new game."
You can do a Kings Sequence which will put you against all the pieces and if you maybe lose at The Bishop you will need to repeat again from the pawns.

Hey so listen in that doggone dogfight there is a secret fase in it, all you have to do is when you meet the four small dogs fase, instead of killing them all, hit them until all of them have the gray smoke coming out of their jet pack’s and then that when the secret fase comes
The cursed relic upgrades upon beating 7 bosses with it, doesn’t have to be the dlc bosses.
This ending is incredibly wholesome. Saltbaker got off pretty easy considering everything he did, but he got smacked up the head by the law and visibly put in the literal hard work to better himself and make it up to everyone else.
It looks like saltshaker came around and made that tart because chalice came back to life in that final panel.
Funny story.
You don't need to beat ALL the DLC bosses for the relic to evolve.
Just any 5 bosses, with the 6th one being one from the DLC.
