Just heard the Cartoon Network website officially closed down- had to look up one of my favorite childhood computer game- thanks for uploading this. Now I wish I could look at my old cartoon orbit account while drowning in nostalgia
@@seronymus I think my friend was talking about Hawaii and I thought about tiki torches and suddenly I remembered this game because of the grass at one part I think so I had to look it up to see if it still existed
This gives me insane nostalgia. Playing this and the other CN games, exploring the internet and finding different sites, games, forums. Miss it like crazy
In my classroom as a kid we had this one computer we all got to share on our breaks, so we sat in groups of 5-15 kids, almost on top of each other, trying to help the lucky one who reached the PC first since none of us knew any English at that point and tried to navigate through this game... In the end I swear all of us knew this game by heart, even though none of us actually knew what was going on in the dialogues x) Such nostalgia!
This game was so stuck in my head as a kid that when my mom used the computer, I made my own episodes in my room with my figures and figurines wanting items from around the house lol 😂
Aw, dude, I remember this game! This was one of the few adventure games out there that I could actually beat. Probably because it was made with kids in mind. The music drove me fricking crazy though.
I wonder who the folks are responsible for this game? All I know is that this game was made in Macromedia Director, now known as Adobe Director. Which is unusual since most web games are made in Flash. The fact that this game is a .dir file makes it really difficult to download and play.
I'm surprised that they still have these games on the cartoon network website. It's been around for several years! I remember playing this back around 02' or 03'. It brings back memories, thank you for sharing! :-)
Fricking childhood memories, dude. The bonking would drive me insane and i didnt know how to finish some levels but i still have fond memories of being able to interact with my favorite cartoon characters :D
oh my God I just went on a little nostalgia trip and ended up here....I can't even tell you how many times I played this when I was a kid! loved these games so so much! 😄
I remember beating this story and prickles, never beat the other two. Words cannot express how happy this makes me. So many legendary memories of a simpler time. Too bad you couldn't enter any of the buildings, I wanted to enter the restaurant.
I always loved playing this game when I was a kid, such fun times. Though watching this now really does stir old memories. Though I do admit that Cartoon Network has gone downhill ten years after this game debuted on their site, Cartoon Cartoons will always have a place in my heart. For those wondering, the reason why I lost interest in the modern era of this channel is because I felt that its new shows don't even appeal to me anymore and the fact that I now favor anime (from my viewpoint, I am not trying to start a fight or cause a flamewar here after all). I only watch Cartoon Network for Adult Swim now anyways.
***** for me its something like Adventure Time>Gumball>Regular Show. but i think that CNs quality hasnt decline, it just changed for the nowadays culture, every generation thinks that their shows are the best, but its normal cause we seen them when we were childs.
i think that its normal, i feel the same way sometimes, but i bear up and enjoy it equally, i mean you will never be a child again, but at least you can enjoy cartoons as an adult :)
OH MY GOD. I have not seen this since 2003/4. i'm 21 now, born in 1997 and someone just posted this on reddit. its been 14 YEARS. so much nostalgia. I used to play the shit out of this. I still remember the music and funny looking characters. such a good game back then.
I wasn't sure if this was the game I remembered as it was mentioned in a reddit thread. But the second I heard the initial sound followed by the music, I knew this was exactly what I was looking for. boy this takes me back.
I remember playing this a long time ago, when I was a little kid. Halfway through, I wanted to take a break, so I pressed F5, because that was the 'save game' key in Sierra adventure games I had played before. It was the refresh button. All progress lost. Man was I bummed.
This game and the Puffy Ami Yumi games like the treasure search one and the world tour one were the best way back in 2005, when the website (and websites aimed at children in general) was much better than today.
Literally was randomly looking everywhere to remember what this game was 😂 went to searching old PC games, to old PC's flash games 2000s, saw the Ed Ed n Eddy lunch room game, then saw this in the recommended and here I am !!!
Admittedly to this day, this game is still one of the best in Cartoon Network's entire lineup. (although I haven't been to CartoonNetwork.com in years)
Used to take turns playing this with my older sister on our chunky bedunky PC. We never beat it, it was too hard! But god did we play the hell out of this a lot of other CN flash games.
Ooh snap I remember this game. I would use to go through all of CN's games to look for this game. But now I came to the conclusion that the game is no longer there. :(
+catlover4ever It's still available if you search it. Here're all the games. www.cartoonnetwork.com/games/cc/summerresort/1.html www.cartoonnetwork.com/games/cc/summerresort/2.html www.cartoonnetwork.com/games/cc/summerresort/3.html www.cartoonnetwork.com/games/cc/summerresort/4.html

Holy fucking shit I used to be addicted to the Cartoon Cartoon Summer Resort Games back in the day.
Man I fucking feel old.

Lolol I used to remember my friends and me all coming in to play this and eat pizzas
+Jack Hammer, I do too remember this game as well. I think that this game was released in the late 1990s/early 2000s.
Used to play this game until Cartoon Network removed it from their site
@@josephdelacroix9798same, I was pissed when they did. This game is still better than the shit they have now
THIS BRINGS BACK SO MANY MEMORIES

It adds a layer of nostalgia to go back to the days when you didn't know shit about english but now absolutely get it and would ace this game lol

I never felt such nostalgia before. I remember going to games as a kid and clicking the last page to find this gem.
