Manisha excellent, your explanation is by far the best I have seen on NDTV. Actually you are absolutely right, when Adani takes over NDTV, people like us will stop watching the channel. In fact the signs were already there. Though the debates were better than most, there was a tilt towards BJP even before, more people on the panel were from BJP, or those who support BJP (political analyst).
Gaurav Sawant's reporting looks like he planned a family trip to Taiwan. After going there, he thought 'Ab aa hi gaye hai, tho thoda propaganda bhi karlete hai, usi ko ground report kahenge, kisi ko patha nahi chalega'

Thank Goodness that this episode was far-more-analytical/well-researched than the original reaction from the likes of Ms Pāndē and others in Newslaundry & elsewhere - something which is an inevitable part of "BREAKING NEWS"/"DEVELOPING STORY" doctrine.
Otherwise, my comment would've been the very same as the one posted to your ex-employee turned recurring-collaborator with his freelancing 'micro-team':

You explained this perfectly. I watched many others but couldn't understand so many things.
What I'm still trying to wrap my head around is that VPCL gave a loan of Rs 404 crore, circa 2009; after 13 years it gets acquired by Mr Adani for alleged Rs 114 crore.
How does this square off the differential of Rs 290 crore? Was that an expensive haircut VPCL took? Then who took the loss? Mr Ambani? Mr Nahata? Or did they get paid in kind?
How much is 29 percent share in NDTV worth today? The share price has gone up we are told from Rs 75 to Rs 380. So who gets the notional windfall gain?
Interesting case of fudge-chocolate! On an ordinary day both watchdogs - ED & CBI - would have been barking and snarling.
Sad to see a pioneer of Indian TV broadcast like Dr Roy walking into the sunset in a rather ignominious manner.
