Love the build My build is a 53 w/2link . My axle is held in place wa pan hard bar over the diff, No driveline clearance issues and it works for me. my power is a 6.0 w/procharger and a 58 inch 9inch Ford axle. Still working the rust but summer ran out Keep up the good work.
I like this looks sick and simple. I've noticed with panhard bars the rear end moves side to side.. I used Wish bones and triangulated four links with bag on bar on my old trucks...
Happy birthday! Since the last video I commented on I had switch suspension ads for that set up pop up on Facebook. Creepy way of FB telling me I was wrong with Jimenez Bros being the manufacturer 🤦🏻♂️😂
I would have wanted a panhard bar just because everything I've read/seen/heard says that's the way to go...but I've never built anything with a solid axle on air, so what do I know? lol
The diagonal link is superior over the panhard bar in an adjustable height situation. The panhard bar will cause the rear end to move side to side as you cycle through 8-12 inches of travel. You remember this because your impala had to have a longer panhard bar for when you fully locked up on the rear for hopping. The diagonal link will stress and wear out those $40 polyurethane bushings long term (30k miles later) but your rear end will stay true throughout the entire range of travel
@@milkyb613 well said bud! Switch suspension is a reliable company, with that being said I don’t think they would sell some garbage and jeopardize their name. I think we’re accustomed to seeing four links and two links with watts links instead of what I have. 😊🤙🏻
Terrible design. It will fail. The bars are too light and the axle can’t rotate over a bump. I have seen many cars set up,with this design and they rip something out or just bend
Well brother I’m going to have to take your word for it. I have never used one of these set ups before so I’m going to redo the rear suspension. My son has an LSA going into this car and I’m not going to have a clear mind knowing this. Thank you. 🤙🏻🫡

I’m extremely big in KISS. Keep it simple stupid. Less is more and usually works out best in the end. 😊🤙🏻
