  • In this episode of the Journey HQ, Russell Starts upgrading the Rear air-ride system on our 1953 Chevy 210. Starting with new and bigger bags, Russell makes new mounting brackets and supports for more lift. This makes for a perfect system for removing the back wheels when needed. Next Russell addresses another issue and that is the notch cover in the truck. This is so that gases and odors stay out of the trunk and passenger compartment.

Curious, what size tires are you running? I'm building a 54 dodge coronet, going to be going on bags.. and your tire size it perfect. I've got 15x5 wheels.. was thinking a 165/80/15 might be the ticket. That's a badass ride.

I am building a 54 Belair. Is there a video you made for notching the rear for clearance, putting in the 2 link etc.?
