So glad I found this, I have a pair that I just can't get clean. They ended up turning yellow. This is a perfect way to restore them without having to buy a new pair! Definitely going to give this a try. Or at least practice on them if anything else.
Saaaaaaame! Mine are not all white though I think they were the three colour ones sail, cream and white so yeahhhhh I may have to do more research in case I get patchy colours 😱

After you washed/cleaned the shoe, did you wait a day until they were fully dried to paint or did you paint them after a little towel dry?

In one mixture? No. You can either mix 2 thin + paint & 2 soft + paint.

How did the paint on the midsole hold up? Has it cracked with use since you did this custom? I've been looking all over the Internet to see if the midsoles are good to paint but have no luck :P Really nice custom btw :)

I have a few questions, about how much paint will be needed? What if you only use GAC 900 and that's it? Will it ruin them? And do you have to use matte finish, or after painting you can just leave them?
+Eartha Sweets 4oz of paint will be needed. You must mix the GAC 900 with a paint of your choice. You don't have to use matte finish but you must use some type of sealer.

Instead of painting them with a paint brush, could I use the Grex Genesis XGi3 Airbrush Combo - GCK05 or would you recommend using the paintbrush?
+Courtney Washington Its all personal preferences, using a paint brush is time consuming. If you have a air brush I recommend using it. In regards to the mesh you must use a paintbrush.
About how long would you say it took you to make these?

+Frankenrosie no, on the mesh portion I used GAC 900 + paint, GAC 200 + paint on the mid sole and rubber tab, and regular paint on the leather. I paint by individual sections because I like focusing on way area before moving on to another. It's all about personal preferences.

+Kinda Rose always start off with a base coat of white when painting a black shoe. After painting the shoe white you can use any color of your choice.
