Thank you for the laughs and memories Bumble, enjoy retirement young man!👑
For me, He's the voice of English Cricket... A gentleman forever... Love from Chennai...
As a fellow Lancastrian I love Bumble. I also love India as i spent 20yrs living and working there and found the country and its people delightful! I was treated as an honoured guest everywhere and India will always hold a place in my heart!
@@stevebrindle1724 Thank you for the love brother..
Him and boycott
I'm an English middle aged and been to India so many times after my dad served there in the war. In 2016 we went to visag test and despite us getting beaten I loved the experience. Then we went to Chennai and watched Cennaiyan play Pune FC. I was planning to get back for the upcoming series. Hope India recovers from this deadly virus just like the rest of us.
@@geraldinehill711 India is aplace you either love or hate. Small minded snobs hate it in general people with a love of life and a zest for living adore India. I adore it!

David Lloyd - The Voice of English Cricket ♥️
Would Love to see a compilation of all Bumble's antics on Commentary. It would be great if you can have it uploaded
Speaks volumes that cricket fans across the globe love Bumble as much as we do. You can certainly add his name to the greats of commentating and very decent people.
What a legend, wonderful, funny and one of the best ever cricket commentators, I miss him so much, enjoy your retirement Dave lad
A great legend in his own life time...long may he continue...thank you Bumble ..

Bumbles impression of Fred trueman is priceless 😂
Love it that he’s wearing an inspiral carpets t-shirt!! Get in Bumble!!
Love the guy.......will never forget his TMS commentaries. Thanks Bumble long may you continue.....
The personification of cricket. BUMBLE.
Without a shadow of doubt, he is the best of them all in the last thirty or so years. Knows when to speak, knows when NOT to speak (which is very, very rare indeed, and is ruining TV cricket), isn't overly analytical (see above), keeps a sense of humour. isn't over-dramatic, the man is a commentating genius. I only wish the overly-analytical, talky, critical ones would learn a lesson from him, and improve televised cricket. Gives credit where credit is due, and we should do the same for him.
I love this guy so much .be is such a commentators I love to hear alot..man I love this man such much
Bumble is the funniest guy ever... had the pleasure to meet him wandering around on streets of Queenstown in New Zealand. It was a marathon week but obviously he wasn't there for that :).. Look forward to a lot more commentary from Bumble.... He makes me love cricket even further more.
He’s a card! Love him. Hope he’s coming to Oz this summer.
Was privileged to see Bumble doing an evening presentation at Derby cricket ground and he was absolutely brilliant. Some of his impressions were superb and his stories of his career were so entertaining.
Ian Ward once again proving his talent for asking questions. One time at the Oval I asked Ian Ward a question. England had just won the ashes and he was rushing about, I asked him for a selfie. At first he said he was too busy but with small encouragement turned around retraced his steps and agreed to take the photo. I often wonder what went through his mind during those few moments. Was it confusion, dread, ecstasy? Had he lost the golf cart? Where was it he was rushing towards? Information lost in the annals of history. Thankfully the information in this video is not lost in history. All thanks to Ian. His skills as a cultural historian are unrivalled. Only because of all that time he spent at work playing around with a golf cart.
October 2020 as we go into a second lock down in the UK please release a sequel as it’s a mental balm. Bumble is an absolute legend.
Absolutely love bumble still gutted that he is no longer working for sky the best and most entertaining commentator / Pundit ever would love to meet him One day Thank You Bumble 🏏
Bumble is amazing the funniest cricketer and commentator of all time.
One great hour here. So many memories of commentary and antics, should have been included but definitely need the Bob Willis imitation.
Now the next on the honours list should be Lord Gower, Henry ‘Blowers’ Blofield and the man in question, David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd for the rank of Knight Commander Of The Order Of The British Empire as for me these are three men who haven’t been bestowed with the honour and are the most worthy.
This was a great vodcast! The content you've been putting out has been top quality.
I love that Athers is such a good commentator, he always seemed a bit of a misery when he was captain. Really enjoying listening to him
He will be missed ... A bubbly character and it was always fun to hear him in commentry.
These are really good videos :)
Bumble, Nasser, Atherton, Bishop, Nicholas, Ian Smith & Ian Ward, will be a great vodcast & there will definitely be amazing stories.

national treasure. So your retiring from sky today. I really hope you get to read this from a cricket fan who was never talented enough to play for even a village team BUT who loves the game and will miss your commentary just like I miss Johnson Blowers and a few others. Best commentator for me! The legend . Bumble and commentary can not be seperated
The late great Murray Walker described the job of a commentator as informing and entertaining the viewer. Bumble is cricket's answer to that.
Love Bumble! He’s always championed Manchester music from Inspiral Carpets to The Fall.
Bumble made my day at old trafford funny guy when i was helping out wt a guy
Brilliant interview... Thanks for this wonderful show. Keep it coming!!
Always enjoy listening to Bumble!
The funniest cricket commentator ... and he's waering an Inspiral Carpets T-shirt. Top bloke!

The last place I expected to see an Inspiral Carpets T-Shirt is was on Bumble`s back. But then again it makes perfect sense.

Best English commentator along with Tony Greig and Mark Nicholas
Early 70's my dad bought me a cricket bat....I'm pretty sure it was a Stuart Surridge "David Lloyd".... family always been Lancashire thru and thru. Bolton, St Helens Road. Long live Bumble, star.
Nasser Hussain should add he also is very pleasant off he air. He visited the Isle of Wight and those people I know who met him said he was a gentleman who had all the time people wanted to take photo's etc.
You're a champion Bumble particularly after getting that infamous bowl from Thommo in the 74/75 Ashes 👍
Yes thomo sends his regards
Bumble is a true legend.
Conundrum is that whether his age is 73 or 37. Love you BUMBLE
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
Cricket is not Cricket without Bumble commentating. Some of his stories are legendary.
Exactly what the doc ordered! Many thanks.
As a South African i must say that Bumble is my favourite cricket commentator.
Love to hear more about the early days. Accrington then Lancashire etc.... playing in the Lancs. side of the 70s, one day experts etc. Not to mention the admiration of 'concrete shots'.....
The sky cricket commentory tea are without doubt by far the best sports team on tv
My favorite and all time best commentator 😍
Absolutely fantastic. Great yarns.
Bumble & Holding, the ultimate combination
Best commentators ever❤🎙
Very enjoyable video, many thanks. God bless you Bumble.
That was great. I didn't think I'd listen to the end but I did.
Nice shout out for Pakistan @ 49:11 Bumble! Pakistan has a superb scenic northern mountain range with blue water valleys and untouched natural beauty. Have a look on UA-cam at the various international Vloggers that have travelled to the likes of Hunza Valley, Skardu and Gilgit in the past 2 years and its a huge, largely unknown tourism hotspot which Imran Khan is further promoting. The overseas international cricketers that came to Pakistan for the PSL tournament such as James Vince, Ravi Bopara, Moeen Ali etc. have all said positive things about the safety and security, not to mention the food in Pakistan and hopefully test cricket is not too far away now.
Kyran Heinz , who the hell would pay money to visit Pakistan, not many, if any!!
peter olsen you don’t have to but the likes of:
Rosie Gabrielle
Eva zu Beck
Haley Dasovic
Cassie de Pecol
Peter Santenello
Drew Brinsky
Jason Billam
Trevor James
Mark Weins
to name a few have all paid money to go to Pakistan in recent months.
When Cassie de Pecol was asked about the best of the 196 countries she had visited in the world, she replied NZ and Pakistan. It’s all on UA-cam, open your mind and know your Geography.
Anyone who gave a ‘thumbs down’ really needs to see a doctor...
😂😂😂😂
what a great guy
Bumble we love you.
Bumble has always been a legend😂
I love his voice 😍 love from Pakistan 🥰
At 26minutes, I remember when in a CWC2020 game WIndies Vs NZ, When Brathwaite is going for it- Bumble asks Bish ‘What’s his name ?

Brilliant interaction Bumble
David Lloyd, Tony Greig (RIP) and Ian Chappell are the commbox dream team.
