As a fellow Lancastrian I love Bumble. I also love India as i spent 20yrs living and working there and found the country and its people delightful! I was treated as an honoured guest everywhere and India will always hold a place in my heart!
I'm an English middle aged and been to India so many times after my dad served there in the war. In 2016 we went to visag test and despite us getting beaten I loved the experience. Then we went to Chennai and watched Cennaiyan play Pune FC. I was planning to get back for the upcoming series. Hope India recovers from this deadly virus just like the rest of us.

Just come home from hospital after an operation - what better medication could you have than an hour of " Bumble " and the team - Excellant thank you all
Bumble is the funniest guy ever... had the pleasure to meet him wandering around on streets of Queenstown in New Zealand. It was a marathon week but obviously he wasn't there for that :).. Look forward to a lot more commentary from Bumble.... He makes me love cricket even further more.
Speaks volumes that cricket fans across the globe love Bumble as much as we do. You can certainly add his name to the greats of commentating and very decent people.
Absolutely love bumble still gutted that he is no longer working for sky the best and most entertaining commentator / Pundit ever would love to meet him One day Thank You Bumble 🏏
Now the next on the honours list should be Lord Gower, Henry ‘Blowers’ Blofield and the man in question, David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd for the rank of Knight Commander Of The Order Of The British Empire as for me these are three men who haven’t been bestowed with the honour and are the most worthy.
Was privileged to see Bumble doing an evening presentation at Derby cricket ground and he was absolutely brilliant. Some of his impressions were superb and his stories of his career were so entertaining.
Without a shadow of doubt, he is the best of them all in the last thirty or so years. Knows when to speak, knows when NOT to speak (which is very, very rare indeed, and is ruining TV cricket), isn't overly analytical (see above), keeps a sense of humour. isn't over-dramatic, the man is a commentating genius. I only wish the overly-analytical, talky, critical ones would learn a lesson from him, and improve televised cricket. Gives credit where credit is due, and we should do the same for him.
Bumble is that type of person who fits in every circle and loved by every generation👌👌. Another brit for me is Michael Atherton who is so humble, polite and a great broadcaster. Can listen to these guys all day......❤🔥
Ian Ward once again proving his talent for asking questions. One time at the Oval I asked Ian Ward a question. England had just won the ashes and he was rushing about, I asked him for a selfie. At first he said he was too busy but with small encouragement turned around retraced his steps and agreed to take the photo. I often wonder what went through his mind during those few moments. Was it confusion, dread, ecstasy? Had he lost the golf cart? Where was it he was rushing towards? Information lost in the annals of history. Thankfully the information in this video is not lost in history. All thanks to Ian. His skills as a cultural historian are unrivalled. Only because of all that time he spent at work playing around with a golf cart.
national treasure. So your retiring from sky today. I really hope you get to read this from a cricket fan who was never talented enough to play for even a village team BUT who loves the game and will miss your commentary just like I miss Johnson Blowers and a few others. I just want to say thank you. Thank you for your incite your expertise and humour. Bless you David . and in the words of spock . LIVE LONG AND PROSPER.
These are really good videos :) Bumble, Nasser, Atherton, Bishop, Nicholas, Ian Smith & Ian Ward, will be a great vodcast & there will definitely be amazing stories.
Early 70's my dad bought me a cricket bat....I'm pretty sure it was a Stuart Surridge "David Lloyd".... family always been Lancashire thru and thru. Bolton, St Helens Road. Long live Bumble, star.
Nasser Hussain should add he also is very pleasant off he air. He visited the Isle of Wight and those people I know who met him said he was a gentleman who had all the time people wanted to take photo's etc.
Love to hear more about the early days. Accrington then Lancashire etc.... playing in the Lancs. side of the 70s, one day experts etc. Not to mention the admiration of 'concrete shots'.....
Nice shout out for Pakistan @ 49:11 Bumble! Pakistan has a superb scenic northern mountain range with blue water valleys and untouched natural beauty. Have a look on UA-cam at the various international Vloggers that have travelled to the likes of Hunza Valley, Skardu and Gilgit in the past 2 years and its a huge, largely unknown tourism hotspot which Imran Khan is further promoting. The overseas international cricketers that came to Pakistan for the PSL tournament such as James Vince, Ravi Bopara, Moeen Ali etc. have all said positive things about the safety and security, not to mention the food in Pakistan and hopefully test cricket is not too far away now.
