- Addison’s Disease is an autoimmune disorder where my body does not produce hormones that behaves. The hormones harms my body and are hyperactive.
I take medication to keep my body balance leveled.
I’m sharing my experience about the time I discovered that I have Addison’s Disease.

Thank you for making this video! I am a 36 year old Canadian. I suffered from ny late teens untik I was diagnosed at 27. Last year I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Addison's, thyroid issues, celiac disease, diabetes and more are all related conditions; endocrine disorders. Watch what you eat! Less processed food, more veggies and lots of protein. Stay strong and carry on! I wish you well Jaycee
It breaks my heart to see someone your age dealing with Addisons. I am at risk of developing adrenal insufficiency so found your story interesting and informative. I give you so much credit with how you’re handling what I know is a tough disease to live with.
It's great to hear some with Addisons is feeling well.
My daughter has Addison’s disease and she gets so happy when she sees another person that has it❤
Listening to you makes my heart break as I both identify with you and feel so bad for what you went through. You are a beautiful young girl and you don’t deserve this. ❤ Thank you so much for sharing your story. You’re helping others.
Hi beautiful. Your such an inspiration ✨️ 💖 . I wish you all the best. I just was diagnosed 1 month ago as a side effect from immunotherapy for cancer. Thank you for your post. ❤️
Beautiful job telling your story. Thank you!! Stay well. 🤍
Hi Jaycee. Thank you for sharing your story! You are so beautiful and inspiring. I could listen to you all day. I currently work at a school supporting a child who has a cochlear implant. So I have come across your clips when searching for information about the aqua set. You have been very helpful, thank you. I wish you all the best. Greetings from Australia.
Thank you for sharing your story! I was recently diagnosed with Addisons. I've got other multiple illnesses too. I'm concerned I'll have an adrenal crisis,bc I'm caring for my mum, she has Alzheimer's, trying to keep myself well, my business going etc. Anyways, thank you, & blessings from Australia x
Hi, just wanted to say that you're not alone but then again we are alone in dealing with this... We need to be gentle with ourselves, self love is everything.... learn how to deal with difficult situations with grace and ease. I know how devasting Alzheimer's is.... Hang in there and you're so lovely for taking care of your mother. I suggest taking reduced glutathione sublingual (under the tongue) it has helped me so much. Also liposomal vit c double or triple dose but spread out throughout the day. I'm sure you're taking a high quality vit b complex stay away from cyanocobalamin and bad forms of b's. ( have you been tested for MTHFR? try and get some genetic tests done)
"an attitude of gratitude brings great things." I wish you all the best. You can do anything you put your mind to I just wanted you to know that.
I have Addisons. Looking back stresses in life played a role. I was very ill when I was diagnosed. Now 13 years later im attempting to heal myself. The steroids have harm by bones and im only 39.
Hi Jill! How is your healing journey?
@@katryanaorange2092 I’ve been lifting weights in the gym for over a year for my skeleton 🩻😎 amazing results. I’ve gained so much muscle and working towards power lifting now. Im reducing my steroid dose on my own and playing with my levels to use as little as possible throughout the day. No major crisis so far this year but bloodwork looks awful recently while on a lighter dose. I also am learning to walk away from unhealthy relationships including my work life. I am going to give up my career in medicine I believe that is the biggest cause of my stress. No work life balance they are awful
🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for sharing
You poor little darling. ❤
I have a white body , I was born white, I have a black face, Black elbows, Black joints, Black hands, Only because of Addison's disease, If humanity get their act togetherI I wasn't going to be so darke , I wasn't diagnosed until 15 years later, When I was completely a different person in hospital bed in coma , 15 years the doctor's never got it right , Addison's disease should be classified as disability it's not
Addison is the most dangerous when not diagnosed, but still a crisis is very rare. I had undiagnosed addison when i had 3 week stomach flu with vomtting etc. Still no crisis
My mother also a addison patient ... i felt like steroid also a slow poison ....
It breaks my heart whenever i think about side effects of those medication ..
Hi! I wanted to suggest reduced glutathione under the tongue (sublingual) morning and night. I buy powder so there are no fillers. It really has helped me a lot. Is she taking vitamin c frequently? Whole food vit c is best, I take liposomal with acerola cherries and camu Camu. Best to spread it out and take it 2-4 times a day. take care sweetheart, all the best to your mom! Don't worry, things happen in life and it could be so much worse, everything will be ok
❤️ keep up the good work it will pay off
Hey don't be worry I am really sad about u...my wife is also caused a Addison disease and it's convert now in anemia every month she wants blood nowm.but she is happy with me..don't be worry.. 😭
Addison is low cortisols. Cushing's is high cortisols.
in my country Norway we are 5 million people i read that there is only a little bit more than 1000 addison's damn yeah the sleep is true i sleep 4 to 6 hours and i struggle to fall asleep as quick as my parents : P they fall asleep within 1 hour i can spend up to 3 hours before i fall asleep
My medison is hydrocortisone and dalta cotton
Did you also experienced extreme tanning of skin or skin getting darker
I was pretty tan already as a child. I did get darker when I got sick.
That was so interesting. I didn’t know the full story. Is the gluten intolerance part of Addison’s disease?
After I was diagnosed with Addison’s disease, the doctors thought it would be good to check for other related issues. They sent me to get biopsy and saw that I was gluten sensitive and said that I had celiac disease as well. I believe it’s different for everyone. I just happen to have celiac disease.
@@jayceesmith4 Oh. Okay. I get it. I guess if you have one autoimmune disease, it’s good to check for others. That sucks! But good for you for handling it all so well! You’re an inspiration.
@@ivyskinner1 yeah i have addison to, its not related. She was unlucky. Living with addison is hard at first but u can still do anything.
