Never get enough car history
My grandfather 👴 and my dad had great 🚗 🚘 🚔 CARS in their life time not knowing they would become classic
I'm not old, I'm a classic! 😂😅😊 vehicles from back in the day had such character. Lincoln was quite the wrestler in case you didn't know. As always thx 4 taking us all along on your history adventure
And your right thats a 59 caddy. The 70 is a coupe deville. Idr when the fleetwood name came around but deville and fleetwood where trims on the same car at one time or another. Eldorado was its own thing and fwd. Im enjoying the video. Really want to visit this place next time im in florida.
This was great Jay! I love me some Car Museums. Thanks for showing this. So many great looking cars.
Holy Cow!!! Tampa Jay...my mind is blown! The cars you showed in that car museum were beyond amazing. I am not a car buff, but geez-louise!

I’m a fellow Tampan and a friend of mine used to work for this museum so I’ve been there a couple of times. A truly incredible collection!
Me being a mechanic and gear head that museum was cool! Btw, James Bond drove a Lotus it looked similar to that car.
Pretty neat your mom worked for a benz dealer and your great grandfathers worked for Chrysler.
Thanks Jay.
Yes thanks Ronald. That car does look like a lotus very cool. Thanks for watching body
Awesome car museum!
Loved the Buick blue ‘56and the white’58 in front room, gorgeous!
Thank you for sharing about your family history it’s always interesting.
Another great vlog and super cool cars! 🏎️👍😁
I just showed my husband this video, he’s shocked because he grew up on that street cause his dad lives literally ON that 47th street first house….he has eaten there before it closed as a teenager. Been closed since the late nineties!
I used to eat at the Mel-O-Dee as a boy. I remember they advertised at our church. A classic diner menu. Hopefully someone brings it back one day.
Thanks Jay, Awesome Video,You do such a Wonderful Job , I'm glad you was on Adam the woo Video, That how I found you, Hugs n Love to you and Cristin, Hope you have a Awesome Day
Wow!!! Lincoln's funeral hearse.

Really enjoyed this video Love the history of the cars Thanks for taking us along 🦩🦩👍👍
My parents took me to that place in 1976. I still have my old brochure from there. It sure has grown ! Loved the Pee Wee Herman round red sofa .

Can’t believe you were on my father in laws street, his car wasn’t in the driveway I noticed 😂 we love visiting him in Sarasota, we can even hear the animals from Jungle Gardens from his driveway
Awesome video as always i love old cars and orher vehicles, i hope you saw the picture i sent you
Awesome place thanks
Thank you
such an awesome and yet very cool car museum it is, now almost at the very of the video, ive notice a very fimilar object that was sitting on a blue scooter, i paused the video to make sure if i was correct or not but it looked like walter from jeff dunham puppets that he uses when jeff preforms when doing comedy, anyways loved the video and a huge car guy fan. Gotta loves those classic cars for sure. 👍🏻
Love your shirt, as a Pirates fan, I'll check out this Museum next march when I come down to Bradenton to watch the Buccos.
Great video on car , I'm a car fan myself . southern California👍
Nice video
Congrats 👏 on your sub's,,,,,bro 💪 ...keep punching.... greetings from Brooklyn NY 🤓 🍎 the concrete jungle....🌴🌴
Looks like an awesome museum. I hope to make it there myself some day.
Good Video Jay
Tampa Jay that was a very cool car museum. I love old classic car museums. There used to be a car museum inside the park at Stone Mountain Park. I went in that one a couple of times. It closed down and I don't know why.
Mornin Jay!!!
I've been to this car museum once in 2018, along with the Ringling Brothers Circus museum near there as well. There's also a model train section in te Circus museum building too that saw. Either in that building or next to it.
this place was featured in Jordan the lions video....but i came on back..can't get enough.and that restaurant in the beginning was mid century "ART DECOR", Adam the Woo has us learning new words over there on his channel.
Great video. I love old cars. Lincoln’s original horse drawn hearse is in the mortuary museum in, I think Dallas? That’s a cool museum.
This was so cool! These cars are literally mobile works of art! Today's manufacturers have completely lost the skill that went into making these beautiful machines! Oh, and to top it off, I believe it was The Flamingo Inn that my pals folks owned for many years. Good to see you in my second home town of sorts!
I remember the show Viper too!!!
There are some real sweet rides there, TJ. There's a car shop in Venice, ya should check out
I see a great business opportunity for you and Cris the girl. The two of you can lease the old Mel-0-Dee restaurant, and re-open it as a restaurant called Crisjay's.
Thanks for giving us a great tour of this car museum
Nice Flamingo song Jay! 🎵 👍
Great tour! Do they still have "Old Town" over in the Orlando area? Great video! 👍
I’m in Anna Maria island right now maybe I’ll drive down and see this. I also went to Lakeland antique mall.
Also the prowler came with a v6
Hey Jay! What's up?Hope everyone is great !!!
“Classic Car Alert” Adam the Woo
I am a new subscriber since watching your girls videos and Adam the woo! My hubbs family used to play piano in that old Mel o d restaurant when he was a kid. Also sadly the car museum is being evicted and only have two week or so to relocate after 70years! 😢
I went there once when I was about 9 or 10. I’ve driven by hundreds of times since then but never been back.
I love old cars and though I don't own any my wife has several .The one that she has owned the longest at 43 years and counting is her 1964 Chevy Impala 2 door sedan and her favorite by far .She has a 1968 Plymouth Fury 3 ,a Jeep ,an old Buick and VW Bug down in the woods waiting for their turn at restoration by her .When asked why she doesn't the sell the 64 Chevy ? She tells folks it is pratically new and is good for another one million miles at least .She does rotate the engines out having both a SB 283 and 327 .For kicks and giggles every now she puts a 409 and the works in it when she wants a little more horsepower and to go a little bit faster .All 3 engines sound and run amazing but that 409 is quite a beast and sounds awesome with a great set of pipes on it .
No clue on that white car myself. Got me stumped. I figured it out jay. early 60s studebaker commander. Talk about driving a car guy nuts lol.
My favorite classic car is the 57 Chevrolet, and the classic corvette model. I also like the new model of the corvette 😱
Flamingooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooos, brilliant, hope your all well.
very koooooooooooooool
Great video. The Henry County Museum has a New Castle built Maxwell. Or so I have been told. 😊
I’ve been in that museum before when I lived in New Castle. I must just of forgotten about it. You I will have to go back and check that out, soon.
Thank you for letting me know. I also need to contribute some artifacts
@@TampaJay I want to say they acquired it about 5 -10 years ago, but I could be wrong.
I had Lobster there in 1990-1995. The Museum bought a care from me in 1990
Tampa Jay! Do a segment on the Tamiami Trail. (somewhat cool backstory)
My roadside attractions series I have covered 41 from Georgia all the way to Miami heavily. Although I haven’t hit parts of “Tamiami trail” quite as hard. Much ahead
You are cool 😎
68 396 camaro. You can tell a 68 vs 67 by the vent windows. 69 looks a bit different if you see them side by side. 67 and 68 are almost identical. Not trying to pick apart video just helping.
Cool video I wonder how many visitors they get
Thank you
Ate at Mel-O-Dee Restaurant in 1996 stayed at the Golden Host next door that has been revamped in the last few years
So sad, I read on another site just the other day that a supposed college has taken control of this museum and given very short notice to vacate. They have near 150 cars to move and no place to put them as yet ! In 1956 I worked at the Sarasota/Bradenton airport and enjoyed this place several times. Sorry to see this part of history go away.
a long time ago they had a Tucker then the movie came out and they sold it .i was there with my dad and checked it out
👋👍
Jay... Bummer. Just yesterday 6/13 on CH. 13 news said that this museum is going to be forced to move because New College of Florida who owns the property won't renew their lease. Its such a shame. The museum has been there for years.
I just saw on the news that this Museum is facing eviction at the end of the month by the New College of Florida. The museum says the current focus is on relocation, which may cost several hundreds of thousands of dollars. As far as the some of the cars and memorabilia owned by the museum though, the museum says some of those assets will have to go to help get the wheels rolling.
The college is going to use the land for their sports department.
Hey Jay. On that nascar. I'm thinking 90s. Because the front end looks like a thunderbird
I agree. I am thinking early nineties on that one.
Bill Elliott drove a Thunderbird in the Mid to Late 90s and also, drove a Taurus during his Nascar career 🏁
Mangoo!😊
Yo mango 🥭:)
That's Bill Elliott's 1997 Ford Thunderbird paint scheme
hi jay Jacob is in town tampa miss sue
that teal car is a 60 edsel btw.
Thank you
@@TampaJay yw. Not the one you couldnt read btw. Thats a 62 caddy. The convertible beside the lincoln cont. Im still watching lol.
That Packard is not a 1932 model, it is from more like 1948.
That’s Jeff Dunham’s ventriloquist dummy Walter on the Vespa
I have a 1950 Packard is a military staff car it is for sale lol
Also, that old rusty convertible is a 1950 Packard straight 8
So many classics I'd be there for hours 🤩 Florida is the place for car enthusiasts you have Adamlz Cleetus freedom factory so many car vloggers in Florida...
Please say “ My Mama say fuzeball is the devil”! …. Again 😂
You got it ha
This was the worst place I ever been. I was there about 10 years ago. Looks the same. Same cars. The only thing different was there were extension cords all over the floor. They had battery tenders plugged in. The employees taking care of the cars said they don't spend a dime to keep the cars maintained.
It's sad that place is gonna get the axe.
My greetings from Brussels, Belgium. Long time a go I have contact you , I have ben Covid victim. Now it is bether exept my respireation. The manican on the scoter looks like "Walter" the dummy of Jeff Dunham.
They are going to tear the place down and the museum is looking for another location. The property belongs to the New College.
Still get a kick out of the way you say "Muzim"
That’s good cause I can’t help it lol
the new New college and the airport evicted them RIP☠ thanks to Ron desantis and his battle with the little liberal arts school. by the way the cleared 100 year old trees to build a sports stadium nearby too for the school☠🌲. Ironically the team name they picked is the fighting banyans ( a type of tree).🌳😖
Sadly Governor Ron DuhSantis put his cronies in charge of New College , the landlords of this property and they are evicting the museum.
This museum is being evicted by DeSantis freshly appointed President of New College. He plans on expanding New College by improbably turning it into a sports powerhouse. It won’t work, but this museum will become the unnecessary carnage of a Football and Basketball President who has no comparable executive experience.
yes i remember that movie 🚘🚕🚔🚙🛻🚚🚛🚜🛵🛵🛵🛵cool 🥰😇miss sue
Buried on May the 4th abe // May the 4th Force be with u
I lived In Hagerstown IN for a couple years. When you mentioned New Castle it made me think you would know where that is.
