Glasgow Celtic, Brother Walfrid. Celtic went into Attack they won the big cup and they brought it back, it's first time it had been on British shores. That a bit of the song Willy Malley another Irish man the first manager, in the first lines are all about Irish ppl Jimmy Quiinn and Patsy Gallagher who's great granddaughter Amy Gallagher now plays for the women's team, the best payer in the league is she, a goalscorer like her great grandfather.
Irish and still watching anyway, great videos guys! For Christmas games we got a trophy instead of cash and the competitiveness went through the roof! The winner keeps it for the year and brings it with them the next year. And it can only be won on xmas day!
I'm from the area and have done that Benbulben hike several times. The views are amazing and you were lucky the clouds lifted to see them. Agreed it would test anyone's fear of heights but the most dangerous thing is you wouldn't have any such fear should thick clouds come in, which often do. It would be very easy to get lost or walk off one of those cliffs if you could only see 6 ft in front of you. Your drone footage was excellent.
Thanks for showing the points to go to, been past it many times and kept putting it off. Also would deffo buy the t-shirt idea hahah Should have a coffee hut at the bottom selling them 😂
Hey guys. Loved the video. Keep it up. The magic road is actually in Waterford close to the car park of Mahon falls. Stunning area and a must see. The Coumshingaun Lough Loop is nearby also, so yous could do this hike, Mahon Falls and the Magic road all in the one video. Ps. The magic road is just mad. Haha.
Oh cool! We have heard of a few “magic roads” in Ireland & there is definitely one in Sligo but thanks for sharing about Waterford 😊 We’d love to make it down there some day!
Great videos, thank you; currently planning a trip for hopefully this summer...how long are the hikes? Wifey isn't exactly a half-day hiker type, but loves waterfalls (go figure). Would also like to visit Doengal, where my great-grandmother's family is from (Innisboffin).
Hi! The wee waterfall at the beginning is only a short walk, you’ll be at the top in 10 minutes from the road. The Devil’s chimney is a 20-minute walk along a gravel path with some steps here and there but it’s very easy. Ben Bulben is more of a proper hike but again, not overly challenging. You’ll be at the top in an hour and a half, the only steep part is to get from the bottom of the ravine to the top but apart from that it’s fine! Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip ☘️💚
Diarmuid and Grainne’s Cave is actually very dangerous. People frequently need to be rescued by the mountain rescue team and an American tourist was killed in a fall there in 2021. His partner needed to be rescued as well. And 2 people were seriously injured falling there in 2023. The caves as Keash in south Sligo make for a similar Instagram and are much, much safer.
Agus in áiteachaí ar fud na hÉireann labhraíonn muid ár dteanga féin agus bíonn cuid mhaith traidisiún ag baint leis sin chomh maith. And in places over Ireland we talk our own language and there does be a lot of tradition to do with that too. I doubt either of you speak it, so ye might not notice our existence so easily.
Hi! I can speak a good bit of Irish actually, not fluently since I’ve since learned other languages & it gets a bit muddled, but I can get by 👍🏻 Hope you enjoy the Sligo video when it comes out 😊 Mark
7:22 a pair of nike air max... lol... Shhligo weather is probably the worst in the whole country... Hiking up there in the sun, it would still rain... A decent pair of walking or hiking boots are a must to keep the old feet dry. In the rest of the world, we normally check the weather to see if it may rain that day. In Shhhligo, we check to see if it would be dry that day as its alway raining..lol..
9:14 Wow, I certainly wouldn't trust walking out on there. That's fucking madness... Jesus, your lucky that didnt give way. it rains in Sligo constant the ground up there is sucking in rain water and so you're taking a massive risk going out that far.. No worry she was terrified, he senses were spot on. Anyone else reading this and planning to go there one day.. Don't do what these two did is my advice.. The fearlessness of youth has been the downfall for many a young man.. Glad you were safe all the same..

Interesting! Which team are you talking about? Would love to read about it 😊

Dubliner here that moved to Sligo, loving the place. And you're right, it goes under the radar somewhat with tourists. I like it that way.
A hidden gem! 😊👌

A comment like that isn't patriotic...only idiotic.
