  • Come along with the Undiscovered Classics team to the 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance! We started our time at the Concours several days ahead of the show, on Thursday.
Geoff Hacker and Merrill Powell from our team participated in one of the forums on Thursday, Dream Rides: American Dream Cars of the 50's. The forum was moderated by Ken Gross of the Petersen Museum and also included Leslie Kendall of the Petersen Museum. The forum also included the famous Bob Gurr of Disney, who is less known for his work with Dan Post in the 1950s of imagining futuristic cars and customs. Mark Hyman of Hyman Limited was also on the forum. We should have the full video of forum coming soon to the channel as well.
We spent most of the first two days at the transportation lot checking out what was going to be hitting the show field and preparing our cars for the day.
You'll see a behind the scenes look at what it's like gearing up for the actual Concours as we work to chase down issues with the 1955 Debonnaire and check out the amazing 1958 LeMans Coupe, restored by Dennis Kazmerowski of our team.
Stay tuned for the next installment coming later this week!

Beautiful! Somehow, at first, I thought this must be a Talbot-Lago!

Nah, not nearly as refined or detailed as a T-L, especially those with F&F coachwork. Its really just an interesting 'Vette.

My memory of the Strother McMinn car is that Sports Car Graphic did several articles during its conception and construction.

There were a lot of articles done about the car and its promise. We've got most of them on our website if you wanted to check them out there

Wow! The Le Mans Coupe came out gorgeous and sounds great too. I'd not have picked that color for the Debonnaire but then I'm not the owner. And a little tip for filming at car shows and such; try to at least get a shot of the badging so that we know what we, the viewer, are looking at.

The paintwork is very nice on the LeMans coupe but I think if it were 2-tones it would show the body lines much better.I think it would look better with some Moon salt-flat wheel covers painted to match the paint. This is a Corvette I wouldn't mind having.

Well, there’s still a few out there so a two tone one could be in the cards for another restorer
