Hi, thanks for the awesome video! I would like to know the customers feedbacks of both models. I think from another video you guys made said after 1 yr use of Cruz, its wheel would become uneasy to turn around. Any other potential cons? Does Nuna mixx2 gets any problem after been used for a period of time? Thank you!
Thought I would point out that the Cruz foot brake is just as sandal friendly as the Mixx, it can easily be unlocked by toggling it in the exact way that the mixx brake works (just applying pressure to the top). In fact, it's one of the features that UPPAbaby highlights :)
I have a 2014 Cruz. It turns much easier than the Mixx2 I tried. One hand turn for Cruz and need two hands to turn for Mixx2.. on rough terrain Mixx should ride better and easy to push forward. But easy to turn, smooth wheels are more important for long time pushing... I will choose the Cruz.
Thank you Shannon! We are so happy to hear this video was helpful. Thanks for watching and please let us know if you have any questions. www.babycubby.com/uppababy-cruz-stroller/ www.babycubby.com/nuna-mixx2-stroller/
can i purchase the rain cover separately as I already have the nuna mixx2 stroller? Also, what is the best on the go basket to hang on these strollers? I couldn't find one that would work for this stroller because the arms are straight, however, the actual top handle is bent upward not all the way straight like the cruz strollers.
Unfortunately we do not sell the Rain Cover separately. You may be able to purchase a replacement through Nuna directly. What kind of basket are you referring to. If you're looking for a "parent console" we love the one linked below and you should be able to attach it just below the bent part of the handlebar. www.babycubby.com/baby-jogger-universal-parent-console.html
Very helpful video! Have you seen how well the Uppababy Cruz and Nuna Pipa car sear pair together using the adapters? I saw a video online of the Cruz being paired with the Maxi-Cosi using the same adapter that's to be used for Pipa and the seat didn't firmly lock in (ua-cam.com/video/A_tdVu60DF4/v-deo.html).
We don't have our adaptors in stock to check the fit but according to UPPAbaby the adapters should lock in fine, if there is some wiggle, it should still be completely safe especially once the baby is inside to kind of hold it down.
Hi Katie, unfortunately Nuna has not created a standing board for their strollers. You may be able to find a universal one, but we cannot recommend one. Good Luck
What an excellent comprehensive review of the features of both strollers!!
Thank you for your feedback!
FYI - there's also a ring adapter for the nuna mixx 2 that makes using the pipa carseat way easier! it's sold separately but a must in my books!
Very clear and helpful reviews, watching your channel has made my purchase so much easier
We're so glad we could help!

Can you do a comparison of the 2019 models of these same travel systems? Thx!
Dahlia Black the Cruz didn’t change at all
It did change... the back wheels are bigger now

Does the Nuna Mixx2 have a kidboard sold separately that can be attached?
No sorry. If you are wanting a stroller that can be used with an additional kick-board they would be Baby Jogger, Uppababy vista and cruz.
Does the uppa baby come with the carseat?
Thats a great questions, neither of these strollers comes with a car seat.
26.8-21.5= 5.3, not 7...

Ok. Thanks for replying.
Its 5.5 lbs difference not 7!!! America is bad at most simple math!!!
The mix is ugly :( definitely going with uppababy
Is there any type of "piggy back board" compatible for the Mixx2?
Hi Katie, unfortunately Nuna has not created a standing board for their strollers. You may be able to find a universal one, but we cannot recommend one. Good Luck
