He could score a 100 in 31 balls or he could defend like his life depended on it. There was no shot that wasn't in his book, no corner of the ground obscure from his vision. He bashed anyone and absolutely everyone when he was in the mood and there was nothing anybody could do about it. He could do it all

Imagine had he hold on to Tennis racket instead of cricket bat, would the world have seen his name besides Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, who knows? I didn't said a word, watched that video many a times and cried 😭.... I prayed and messaged AB on his twitter account but found no reply... I kept waiting for him to come , I felt hell beside me... BUT South Africa 🇿🇦 will continue to fail in major competitions (World Cup ?) because we NEVER look at the scoreboard and adopt our play in the best interests of the team (country ?). Rather our team is made up of 12 talented individuals who believe a cricket pitch is their own stage, and everyone is gathered at the stadium to only see their prowess - and so each of the 12 play a very self/centred game.
