Hi Dan, just caught this video. If you're passing through San Miguel Allende soon (and haven't already gone by), respond here and we'd love to offer you a place to stay. All best, Bud Smith
Hey Dan, just wanted to leave you a comment to let you know how much I look forward to your videos, and how much I enjoy being able to- in some small way- share your amazing adventure with you. It’s just a beautiful, positive, inspirational thing that I feel I’ve found in your channel, and it’s a little spark of joy and wonder. Thanks for all the effort you put into sharing this with us. This community may not be the biggest, but if you need anything, let us know and we’ve got you. Cheers man.
Another stunning vid. Regardless of all your current troubles you've maintained a positive attitude. A lesson for all us cyclist. We'll done Dan and thank you so much for your content.
Just got to let you know we think your positiveness is amazing and inspirational! Keep at it! Looking forward to every video you put so much hard work into.
Glad to see your video again! I love your positive spirit despite the troubles you’ve encountered. Keep pedaling, we are rooting for you and looking forward to your next video.
Hey Dan, Can't wait for the next video! Just wanted to let you know your tip on stopping and confronting aggressive dogs worked well today. I was on a ride in the forests of Northern Montana and had a couple of young dogs come running out at me. They were determined to stay with me as I slowly climbed up a hill. I remembered your moment in Mexico where you stopped and confronted the dogs. So, I figured I had nothing to lose, stopped, turned, made eye contact, and they instantly backed off. Finally, their owner came out and called them back in. My second option was the can of bear spray I had with me, but we were able to negotiate a peaceful outcome without the use of weapons! Carry on! Love the series and you are an inspiration!
Another great video! Really bummed that you couldn't share the end of Baja and the start of the mainland stretch.. Probably not nearly as bummed as you were losing that footage.. I hope you still have fond memories in your head about it all! Safe travels through the rest of Mexico!
Your putting in a good shift Dan ! It must be murder with the heat and the weight of your bike ,I hope the bike shop give your machine a proper looking over 🚲🇬🇧🇬🇧
Such a beautiful a video. It blows me away every time that you are not only riding but also getting all these crazy perfect shots. I look forward to your videos so much & also wonder how you are doing out there. Cheers Dan!
Great video Dan! I look forward to watching each stage of your journey. Keep up the great work! The effort you put into these videos and your positivity is inspiring.
It’s always a wonderful surprise to see that you’ve been able to post another video! Your series is one of the main reasons this senior recently purchased her first TV… a 48-inch OLED screen to “adventure” on my treadmill via UA-cam when I don’t feel inspired to get out in foul weather. My condolences on the loss of your laptop. ❤
I have been watching your series since the beginning and have thoroughly enjoyed each of your videos. The videos of the Baja Divide and now your foray into Mexico really showcase the impressive landscapes that you have to travel through on this immense journey. I enjoy watching you work through all the problems you encounter on the trail. Thank you for all the hard work that you put into these videos. Great job and looking forward to the future videos.
Hi Dan! I am really enjoying this series and love when I see a new video pop up, it's just about the time when I wonder how you're doing on your journey that you a new video posts! Best of luck and keep up the amazing work!
Love this! And it’s fun to find out you have a thing for dogs 🐕 😊! So sorry to hear about your laptop troubles and I’m glad you’re still enjoying your trip. I’m always excited to see a new release and watch it asap. Hope you’re well!!
Such a great video! I just made it to Mexico City myself and this was such a good representation of this part of the route. Can’t wait for the next one!
I am so enjoying your videos and sharing your amazing journey, Dan. I only found your channel recently and am trying to catch up with the beginning of your trip. The quality of what you are producing here is incredible. You remind me very much of that wonderful traveller, Iohan Gueorguiev with your special affinity with dogs and other animals you meet on your journey. He was the very best creator of these kind of videos, but I feel you are a worthy successor, producing fantastic videos that convey your feelings for the landscape and animals as well as the people you meet along the way. I wish you bon voyage and hope to share many more of your experiences of your journey.
Always great to see a new episode of your adventure! I know the feeling of losing important footage, I once lost 30 days from the middle of a 60 day bikepacking trip with my dog... Heart: broken. But you keep on moving forward!
Though of trying this combination for you tyres Mr Tuffy's tubes and sealant I ran tubes and Mr tuffy's and I rode on a similar surface too you and I never got a flat, in 2200 km. Put baby powder on your tubes so it reduces the friction within the tyre from continous movement of riding I have used Mr Tuffy's for 30 plus years and I think I could count on 1 hand the number of flats Or consider it as and emergency option that you could carry Thanks for sharing your adventure, it takes me back too your age Good luck

The quality of these videos gets better each time. If you have to find a career once this trip ends, I think you’ve got a great resume here on UA-cam.
Another absolutely stunning video! So sorry about your laptop. Love the way you blend narrative with the video! Take good care.
