Even better use the electricity with gadgets that could be, I don't know, somewhat strange or a new idea within the Otherworld that Tecna has to keep a secret or something. If I can come up with a solution to adding Tecna, I don't see why the paid writers can't! But I understand if they feel it can't fit their idea of the Winx universe - I'm excited to see where they go with Fate.

As much as I love Riven and Musa in the cartoon, I really enjoyed Beatrix and Riven being a slightly toxic, sexy and villainous couple. It brought a new dynamic that was interesting and fun.

Honestly, I love the fact that they made the series kinda dark. It gives winx an interesting new way of telling a story and also makes it fit for an older audience. I'm really looking forward to season 2!
I don't think there is going to be alot of wings except the ones of bloom because the headmistress said that the wings were a long lost magic in the first or second episode so I don't think we are going to have too much wings in S2, but I hope we will!

Yeah, but it was *still* happy and fun. There were still "downtimes" kind of episode, for the girls just to have fun and relax. The tone was much lighter despite the situation. I can refer you to the latest video made by Unicorn of War - Tho.mas Vaccaro. The video talked about season 3, generally a fan favorite and probably the darkest season of all. There is such a thing as balance, and Winx, espcially season 3, did it well. Fate is just depressing at best, boring at worse. To me, at least. I don't like that style of show, never has. I need a little sparkle of positivity, and Fate lacks that for me. Real life is depressing enough... (Also, the sexuality in the show... really through me off. Like... Why? That was unecessary. Nobody asked for this... i hope, at least.)

I actually think that's a shame. It was a good thing that they separate and keeping it like that would shows that it is okay to realise that some relationships just don't work. Musa and Riven were never good together. Never for long enough for it to matter at least.

You know I haven't given the show a try just because I am an old fan but it's not that I don't like it cause it's not dark or a bit more intimate or the character change. I wanted fairy's and sparkly outfits too and better than the Bloom transformation in the end of the show from reviews I've watched. Honestly though if you were just going to change a whole bunch of stuff why couldn't you just have renamed every single one and pretended they were the grand children of the Winx and long ago something happened that changed the magic dimension forever. Fairy's came across a villain they could not beat even the most powerful fairies of the time were no match for it but they still had their magic and because the fairy's had no extra appendige to work with the schools eventually came together as one whole school. Our story starts with an earth girl who was left on earth by her parents who were both fairies and they wanted to try a hand at it where their parents failed. By then the whole universe and dimensions knew about fairies but unfortunately it wasn't enough to bring back the wings that the evil stole from them. The earth fairy grows up learning from the earliest age a girl could understand at about her birth parents and their sacrifice and about how they were fairies. The girl learned about magic and then enrolled in the Alfea school for magic and sword! Ahem sorry I got a little carried away there still that would have been a good build up and it wouldn't be probably more than one or two episodes for something like that then they start with the episode Netflix Fate Winx did and bam you make the old and new fans happy and you can sing cumbaya in your underwear all day long for all I care lol. Hope you guys enjoyed my short but in all sincerely I thought about giving the show a try it doesn't look that bad and with how many bad dubs there were with Winx already I mean eventually you learn to ignore certain things and roll with the punches and even maybe even come to enjoy something. I loved every series of Winx so far even if I have some quips about a lot of things but I won't get into it because I'm sure you guys heard it all already a million times. I feel like we got the Trix in a very unconventional way........in Beatrix. Think about it: she has electric powers like Stormy, she's messing around with Riven like Darcy and her personality is like that of Icy. Its like when the Trix fused in the season 2 finale of Winx Club but in a more humanlike form. Its what I thought was going on with Stella and the Stella-Bloom-Sky love triangle where Stella was like a fusion of her and Diaspro in regards of personalities and behaviour. Not everyone will agree with this and I completely understand but its how I saw these characters.
I would've liked to see the Trix individually, but I have to admit, as you said they incorporated the three of them very nicely into Beatrix's character. So all in all I'm not upset about it in the slightest.

"Darkest season yet"? Please, there's literally been only one season so far. There's no "yet" in it! It can be "darkER" at best, so why the overdramatics? I just never understood that about headlines - you can make a captivating title without half-truths.
What people forget is this show was created by two guys that didn't even watch the cartoon. So yes it will not reflect the show because they know nothing of the cartoon. Which is why characters from the cartoon like Tecna are missing. So I wouldn't expect much from this show not saying it's not good just saying it's not Winx Club just because of similar Names and powers.

Exactly. Its different and that's a good thing given the cartoon had plenty of flaws. A complete copypaste wouldve been dull considering we'd know exactly what would happen. Also people complaining about the clothes 24/7 as their biggest issue with the show is plain ridiculous. I don't think half of cartoon winx's wardrobe would be allowed in any kind of prestigious educational establishment in real life. Yeah, tbh Winx club was actually quite dark, but it was painted with bright colours.
Rivusa did actually end well and together in season 8. Season 8 wasn't the best though.

What people forget is this show was created by two guys that didn't even watch the cartoon. So yes it will not reflect the show because they know nothing of the cartoon. Which is why characters from the cartoon like Tecna are missing. Exactly. Its different and that's a good thing given the cartoon had plenty of flaws. A complete copypaste wouldve been dull considering we'd know exactly what would happen. Also people complaining about the clothes 24/7 as their biggest issue with the show is plain ridiculous. I don't think half of cartoon winx's wardrobe would be allowed in any kind of prestigious educational establishment in real life. So glad they were dressed more sensible, though I guess it helped that it was cold af during filming lol.

I was hoping people had better taste than bad writing but apparently not since we are getting a second season. (I don’t care if people call me toxic for this comment, I don’t care, I’ll gladly be toxic about this show! It white watched characters, had the supposedly gay character become a bad guy and not even a cool bad guy, just an asshole! The writing is bad, feels like a angsty fanfic made by a 12 year old, the friendship doesn’t feel real, the love triangle was unnecessary and their clothes is a disgrace! Stella would NEVER let them dress like that! Everyone’s color pallets are so boring! Put the blue back on bloom thank you! Also where is kiko? How can you have winx without kiko!?, this show is plain out bad and afraid of glitter. And the transformation isn’t even a transformation! The Peter Johansson movies were better than this because they were at least fun)

Ich muss sagen ich freu mich Mega auf Staffel zwei.😎😊😁 ich fand Staffel eins auch schon echt gut. Ich bin gespannt wie sich alles entwickeln wird. Was ähnlich bleibt zum Original,die Serie Winx Club und was sich verändert und was gleich bleibt. Natürlich kann man die Serien vergleichen (Winx Club) doch würde ich sagen sind sie unterschiedlich und das finde ich auch gut so. ich will nämlich keine eins zu eins Kopie von Winx Club. ich mein ich hab die Serie als Kind geliebt aber wenn ich sie jetzt noch mal gucken würde finde ich sie schon echt kindisch und das ist bei The Winx Saga nicht so und deswegen finde ich diese düsteren Momente auch richtig gut und bin auch gerne für mehr bereit. Natürlich wäre es cool Geschichten oder Ereignisse auch in der Wingst Saga einzubringen wie z.b. die Tricks, Schloss Wolkenturm oder andere Planeten. Was ich in Staffel 2 sehen will: ist Miss Dowling wirklich tot, was ist mit Tecna gibt es sie überhaupt, Bloom‘s Eltern, Daphne, Valtor, wer steckt hinter dem Ganzen wer zieht die Fäden, was will Stellas Mutter oder skys Vater, was ist das Ziel der verschiedenen Parteien, wer ist wirklich böse, wer steckt hinter diesen verbrannte und noch so viel mehr....

I have to say I'm really looking forward to season two.😎😊😁 I thought season one was really good too. I'm curious how everything will develop. What stays similar to the original, the Winx Club series and what changes and what stays the same. Of course you can compare the series (Winx Club) but I would say they are different and I think that's a good thing. I don't want a 1:1 copy of Winx Club. I mean I loved the series as a kid but if I watched it again now I think it's really childish and that's not the case with The Winx Saga and that's why I really like those dark moments and I'm happily up for more . Of course it would be cool to include stories or events in the Wingst Saga as well, e.g. the tricks, cloud tower castle or other planets. What I want to see in Season 2: is Miss Dowling really dead, what about Tecna does she even exist, Bloom's parents, Daphne, Valtor, who is behind it all, who is pulling the strings, what does Stella's mother or sky's father want, what is the goal of the different parties, who is really evil, who is behind these burned ones and so much more....
