They wanted the unblockable finishers to be a good mixup so they even gave both the light and the heavy the same voice line at the start to confuse people. Genius
He is described as one of the most refined swordsmen in the wu lin, so i wouldnt be surprised he'd be talking like that to heros with much different or savage fighting styles

I like that about his character. It means you can either pretend they're taunting their opponent and are cocky as all hell, or you can pretend they're a benevolent swordfighter who just want to see their opponent get better. Like, "use all of your strength" can be interpreted two ways. 1: cocky way. "Tch, is this really all you have?" 2: benevolent way. "I know you can do better. Come at me with all you have!"
But Jorm actually says stuff. We just don't realize it because they sound so hysterical with everything they do. I agree that he isn't really vengeful though. That should go to Hitokiri since as edgy as it sounds, the dev's literally stated in a Warrior's Den that they lost "all faith in humanity".

Some comment already explained the meaning of the Chinese saying up above the other comments but I'll just say that you basically mean the weapon does not discriminate between its opponents since it has no 'eyes' and so doesn't show mercy to anyone, so one has to watch themselves.

Anyone else find it weird that most of the heroes have revive and feat voice lines in English, while the new ones still have it in their native languages? Cool vid though, keep it up. :^)
If I remember correctly: they're usually English while the person's on your team, and then foreign when they're on the enemy team. That way you can distinguish when someone who's using that character and is friendly is being revived/using a feat vs. when they're hostile.
