There are lots of covers of this song and has different style of chords being used. Yours however has the closest sound of the original version. And that taylor guitar has an amazing acoustic sound. I have a takamini, gibson and Ibanez cause most of their acoustics are affordable.😂 But I'm still planning to buy my own taylor soon. Definietly subscribing sir. Pls do more videos on classic songs cause most teens needed to hear and play this kind of songs nowadays.

I have always played a simpler version of this beautiful song starting on Dmaj7 Emin7 etc. By adding a number of guitar licks, you have made your tutorial version of the song come very close to David Gates' version. Wow, I have never seen an E Major7 nor an F#m7 played like that before. I really had to do a double take on where your fingers were. Then when I finally saw it (after rewinds . . :)) wow. I think that full bar of second fret is a C11 chord. Used in Witchita Lineman. Great lesson. David Gates grew up here in Tulsa, OK.

Wow, I have never seen an E Major7 nor an F#m7 played like that before. I really had to do a double take on where your fingers were. Then when I finally saw it (after rewinds . . :)) wow.
