I have always played a simpler version of this beautiful song starting on Dmaj7 Emin7 etc. By adding a number of guitar licks, you have made your tutorial version of the song come very close to David Gates' version. My favourite riffs are the ones you added after "Hey, have you ever tried" & "And if you're wondering where this all is leading to". Thank you for this guitar lesson.
