Dope! I can understand why some producers might not be feeling it but from a emcee’s perspective this is perfect for getting busy. A lot of space with not much going on. It probably would sound way better with somebody rapping over it. Peace!
Met chuck in downtown la with ak the savior kirk knight and meechy , chuck was the only one that stood aside and talked to me n the homies . Im a forever respect dude
YOO! That's crucial!! If they got Large P and Havoc on here, they can definitely get Mo on here.. oh man I'm really hoping they get Mo on here. Maybe even Pete as well, but Pete would be hard to find bc he's busy all the time lol
Even tho the clip was short, and the beat was pretty simple, its good to finally watch an episode where they're actually using hardware again. Nothing against DAW's, but I like watching someone work their magic on hardware samplers.
its not about making people happy, its about showcasing talented producers being creative, this was the opposite of creative, i was just stating my opinion here, like i said i wasnt doubting this guys producing skills so not sure why the snarky response
i'm subbed to this channel to watch creativity, if i wanna just listen to good music i will. you really are missing the point here, please just use your head and dont be another brain dead buffoon in the comment section
its all about how you sell it. if chuck strangers himself would had been vibing more to the beat, people in this comment section would also be more hyped. but he didnt sell it too well as he did not seem to impressed himself lol. other self obsessed producers had went crazy to that beat already and then the reactions here would had been different too. people are very easy manipulated by these minor matters.. but i like that honest and humble approach of chuck more. also the beat was more than good enough considering the format
Brian Rainsford Marshall Cooking Soul was the best one so far this year. I'm a huge Chuck Strangers fan but I'm kinda disappointed with what he did here. He could've done better.
This dudes mad talented... but that was a real short RR. Wishing he went IN but it is what it is when you're hungover enough to say it. Beat still had a bit of vibe to it. Mannnn I want to do a RR so bad. hahahahah
Picking off the display wall is saying "hold my beer" to the participants who beeline to the soul section. I expected a smoky basement beat dripping with vibe & got 4 min of an uninspired 1st idea. Top 5 worst ep
Serious Question What is the machine that allows you take the vinyl music and then sample it however you want? Basically all the machines chuck is using?
So with the MPC 2500 he is able to sample the vinyl but what is the software you can then move the vinyl sample to i.e to make your beat? I have Fl studio but i don't know how I would then transfer the sample or sounds into Fl.
He's using the MPC 2500. You don't need software for the 2500. It's all done in the machine. If you want to use both a machine AND software you can look into the MPC Studio. Otherwise, Maschine is your best bet. Both the Maschine Mikro, Maschine Studio, and Maschine MK3 will do what you're looking for. Peace.
Nothing special at all ... if it doesn’t inspire me to make beats after watching a episode , then it’s weak ..... I really hate to say that because I love this series ..
BigRed Then find something that will inspire you to make beats instead of bashing an producer workflow of how they do production, producers have different ways of making music
wmcroy3306 that’s true ... like I said . I hate to be that person .....I love this series. When I see it’s a new video uploaded and then I click on it and it’s only 4 mins tells me a lot before even watching .theres not enough insight into the featured producers mind or world ..
but this way wasn't different at all. Traditional sample sliced into a loop... he could've just slapped a kick and a snare and voila.... but alas it was weak
There's always 2 types of comments on these vids 1. "This shit was dope" 2. "This shit was wack, he could have done better". Just goes to show u cant please everyone
Dude said, "ALRIGHT!" like he did a hard day of work, and was ready to go home!" 😂🤣
I love this because it shows how real sessions work even kanye or dre make wack ass beats. Everyone think you supposed to make heat all the time
Well ya & when a dope MC hops on any beat it can bring it to life & make for changes to be made so it can be better overall production.
Shout out to Chuck Strangers for coming thru to do an episode of Rhythm Roulette.
Who's checked out his new album 'Consumers Park?'
Make him redo this. The dude was hungover lool. Also get Buckwild, Alchemist, and Evidence to do one as well.
I could've sworn chuck Strangers did a RR already? Or was that Lee Bannon?
Mass Appeal hell yeah
Mass Appeal koncept__P
Mass Appeal me
"Hi, my name is Chuck Strangers and I'm hung over af" lol
Dope! I can understand why some producers might not be feeling it but from a emcee’s perspective this is perfect for getting busy. A lot of space with not much going on. It probably would sound way better with somebody rapping over it. Peace!
LIQUID STAR DEATH Exactly. He could have went a little bit harder tho in my opinion
Man this was ok but Chuck could've done better. Mass Appeal should've waited until he was feeling better from being hungover lol
word
But no days off,c'mon man
Met chuck in downtown la with ak the savior kirk knight and meechy , chuck was the only one that stood aside and talked to me n the homies . Im a forever respect dude
JOEY BAD AND CHUCK STRANGERSSSS LEAVE NIGGAS IN DANGERRR Chuck was a pioneer for the beastcoast movement.
Thought this was killer mike On producer mode
Maserati Shawty 😂
Buggin 😂
That was pretty good. People ain't giving this man respect lol
LegitMusic "and I deserve my respect, but brains don't matter if your wig get split on some third eye shit"
what do you expect from this community..
Because us producers make 2 bar loop bullshit as throwaways.
was good but he could have done more with that sample
David Lee ayeee I see what you did there on some Joey Bada$$ shit. I'm gonna have to listen to that now fuck you lol
pro era got the dopest beats
THE SLOW DEATH HOOKS yes
i allways thought pro era kinda lost that beat thing when they started rapping over those generic ass trap beats
@@hueyfinesse fr
Chuck is a low key legend. Seeing Joey in concert tomorrow, boutta be lit
Why can't people enjoy simplicity lol not every rhythm roulette has to be complex.
yall forgettin he hungover
suspect one of the dopest beats
I can see that people don't understand that simplicity goes a long way
Feel like chuck coulda did better than that
BaZi Shit dope regardless
I recognize the suspect instrumental. The hook is stuck in my head since i was bumping that today 🔥
Please get EASY MO BEE on this show
That would be spectacular
So nice to see someone on this still producing on MPC.
HERE FOR THIS.
Daaamn!!! Thank you mass appeal thats exactly what i wanted!!!
All these people hating on trap producers saying they are unimaginative and cant work samples. What are they going to say about this one?
i'm not doubting this man as a producer but throwing a drum loop on top of 2 chops one of which was repeated 3 times is not my idea of good.
KROSER Oh fucking well lol you can't make everyone happy
its not about making people happy, its about showcasing talented producers being creative, this was the opposite of creative, i was just stating my opinion here, like i said i wasnt doubting this guys producing skills so not sure why the snarky response
i'm subbed to this channel to watch creativity, if i wanna just listen to good music i will. you really are missing the point here, please just use your head and dont be another brain dead buffoon in the comment section
dig the beat, its simple but works really well
Despite everybody saying he coulda did better, this always been one of my favorite instrumentals on the show
mad props to actually getting him on (i made a comment before) mass appeal always keepin it real👌👌
The samples here are fireeee, maaaan!
its all about how you sell it. if chuck strangers himself would had been vibing more to the beat, people in this comment section would also be more hyped. but he didnt sell it too well as he did not seem to impressed himself lol. other self obsessed producers had went crazy to that beat already and then the reactions here would had been different too. people are very easy manipulated by these minor matters.. but i like that honest and humble approach of chuck more. also the beat was more than good enough considering the format
Completely agree
still come back to hear this one , who ended up jumpin on this?
under 4 minutes? lol
Lol this man deserves more time on cam.. but it's all good he made a dope beat..
was still very dope
I love pro era but this was a bit weak ngl. Sounwave next?
Shit sounwave would be so dope. I got a feeling he would assassinate it. But it can't be that serato edition shit. Those tend to be trash.
bro the man was hangover
yooooo.... this dude's consumer park album is actually pretty dope 🙇🏽
Does anyone know the name of the instrumental playing in the beginning?
been waiting for this one
YOOOOOOOOO seeing this in my sub box made my day!!!!
Such a relief to finally see a producer who has a proper turntable and knows how to use it. And you know what? It shows in the result!
Get Powers Pleasant on here
Man!!! Been waiting for this since 1999!!!
Super smooth, but why's the video so short?
I need all these beats on vinyl. Pronto.STAT.
dope type o shirt
We are worth more than 3:57 DONT SHORT CHANGE US!!!
Yo is it me or is this his second time on here.... shout out to all my MPC 2500 heads! I'm rocking that same machine same machine dope
That boy chuck getting his shine ! 7 yrs strong my broyher
I might be late asf but I didn’t know chuck strangers made the Suspect beat. Yoo that’s my fav off 1999. Now I fw him even more dawg.
we went from using three records to make one track to not even using all three records lol
What do I have to do to get featured on this show?... I've left comments on UA-cam and Instagram asking for a shot
Suspect is such a dope ass beat man. So chill....shout to chuck man, this wasn’t his best but y’all should know he make dope beats 💯🙏🏼
my man chuck , nice beats yo. no matter what ....Gem creations .....big respects
Mad respect for Chuck and Pro Era, but this was some low effort low reward bullshit. There hasn't been a semi-decent Rhythm Roulette in a long time.
Brian Rainsford Marshall Cooking Soul was the best one so far this year. I'm a huge Chuck Strangers fan but I'm kinda disappointed with what he did here. He could've done better.
You're forgetting Mr. Carmack
that shit was ages ago
It hasn't even been a year since it came out tho...
Brian Rainsford Marshall bar charlie heat
He is underrated as f*ck... From a french guy who still believes in hip hop
Love to see someone chopping up on the MPC. Too many laptop producers on here lately.
Key statement I’m hung over as fuck lol legend
This dudes mad talented... but that was a real short RR. Wishing he went IN but it is what it is when you're hungover enough to say it. Beat still had a bit of vibe to it. Mannnn I want to do a RR so bad. hahahahah
I thought this was Biz Markie....my bad Chuckie 😂
Nice mash up. super dope
Hope one day I can get on this 💯
ここに来てChuck Strangersは嬉しい thank you mass appeal!! and i wanna see sounwave making beats!!!
Picking off the display wall is saying "hold my beer" to the participants who beeline to the soul section. I expected a smoky basement beat dripping with vibe & got 4 min of an uninspired 1st idea. Top 5 worst ep
nah cur There's way more worst episodes then this. But Chuck should've done better then this.
still a good beat. shit aint gotta be all complex on some jimmy neutron sh*t. u can still write verses to this
My mans rockin the Type O Negative shirt. fuego
Simple, yet effective. That beat is sweet AF!!
Finally someone rocking something other than serato sample or a computer. Make more of these.
Rick Guerra finally!! Someone using a phonogram and not a CD player!!.. Stfu and step into the new world.. Damn!!!
+badnewzsteve finally!! Someone using their hands & tables and not a bucket & sticks!! DAMN!!!
Rick Guerra facts
Damn chick strangers making it look too easy! 🔥🔥
