Holy smokes the stock exhaust is stupid heavy. Thanks for this video. Also, that is beyond all scope and measure prettier to my eye, so want to do this now.
Yeah, I'm hoping to get a video on this set up and a ride by etc done in the coming weeks. I too, fell in love with the looks of it when I seen the same one fitted. It sounds immense even with the baffle fitted and its actually quite fruity. Sounds like a moto2 bike without the baffle but it's a bit much for the road (for me). Now the bikes been tuned, it's a different animal, it's so responsive! I just love it!
good lord i wish i found this video 3 days ago... Just went through replacing my exhaust on my 24 and took me about 3 hours by myself. I ordered the OEM headers from Triumph that actually come with the Racefit Exhaust system kit. Was simple enough but I second guessed myself a few times.
So I'm in the states and have the R version - waiting on receipt of a full spark titanium system. Wondering about tune options - is it necessary? Will I see any power gains without the tune? I don't even see where anyone has released a tune for the bike in the US.
Dumb question, I see 3 tabs holding the O2 sensor but you only inserted the screw driver into the middle, I tried that but it seems that mine is a bit more stubborn and doesn’t want to go out
With a cat? I don’t think so. Spark do a full system that’s homologated for road use though. We don’t have emissions tests for bikes in the uk, but appreciate in california for example, they’re hot on that? I’d probably just leave it standard if it that was the case. Too much hassle or I’d just move! 😂
Yeah, maybe that's where they're trying to head with this new Daytona 660 thst coming? ... Who knows. This is already pretty upright though. They should bring out a new sprint ST with the 1200 RS engine makeover too or a half faired version of the street / speed RS, a bit like the Suzuki Gsx600F and gsx1200f Bandits from 1995. (one of my first bikes actually).. But then I guess you're almost looking at a 660 Sport, not the same though! Not everyone wants a commuter on stilts! - myself included!
Thanks for watching. The lever guard itself is from "reactive parts". It's a Lightec lever guard. It's actually re purposed from my Gsxr1000R, just Triumph end cap removed and lever guard bolted straight on.
Small short video coming on that that i forgot to edit in, but essentially I used an old paddock stand cotton reel as a spacer. Worked perfectly, have since replaced with a couple of rubber spacers.
You can use a power commander if you prefer, but nothing currently available for ECU tuning via Woolwich, so a rapid bike module or power commander are the only options at the minute. Unless you fit a race wiring harness and ecu.

These bikes run lean AF from the factory. That exhaust is gonna make it even worse, and the bike has no way to tune itself. I guarantee that if you run it untuned, you will hurt the motor over time and Triumph is really cracking down on warranty claims for people who have modded the bikes...
Ran and felt ok without any tuning at all, but rapidbike evo module now fitted and it's also been tuned on the dyno. Content coming. Thanks for commenting and watching.
@@twistandgo3414 Ok, that's good. It might have felt ok, but it wasn't. My 2020 Street RS made 119hp at the wheel stock, and 125hp at the wheel tuned, and I just had a slip-on with CAT removed, using stock headers. My wife had a 2018 Street RS and hers made 117hp at the wheel stock tune with just a slip-on and she kept the CAT. So your 113hp is a bit low, especially considering that your motor is supposed to take more power. But your dyno might just read low....I would expect that it will make several HP more with a proper tune.
I bought a brand new bike and did not change the exhaust cuz I was too afraid of damaging the engine. I rode it twice. Then the pandemic hit. Then, I lost my job and had to sell it. New owner installed a new exhaust within a week of buying the bike from me. He’s is having ton of fun. I follow him on ig. I rode it twice with stock exhaust. TWICE. I’m putting a pipe on my next bike the minute I get the chance even if the f*** engine breaks in half in a month. Life’s too short too take care of stuff. At the end, someone else will end up having all the fun that you did not have for being scared 👍
@SquireSCA I spoke to my dealer about warranty cover. They said for mods like changing the exhaust there are no issues with warranty cover - that’s what the bikes are designed for, especially with legitimate exhaust brands
@@Gasson86 True, but on these Euro5 bikes, an exhaust system can cause a lean condition that could damage the motor over time, and if that happens, and the dealer catches it, they can and many will deny the warranty claim. The 2022 Speed Twin seems to have an issue with several bikes blowing up the left piston. Where the ring land meets the exhaust valve pocket, its really thin... And if the ring gap wasn't set right and was too tight, it expands and puts pressure on the ring land, and at higher RPM a large chunk of the piston breaks off, smashes the valves, damaged the cylinder and cracks the entire piston. Happened to mine and 5 others that I know of. Always the left piston, always the same spot. Two of the owners with new bikes under warranty and only 3k miles on them, had their warranty claims denied. One of them, because he blocked the SAI hose to reduce popping on decal. An air hose that is connected to the exhaust manifold for emissions... there is literally no way it could cause a piston to shatter, but Triumph denied the claim and handed him a bill for $7,500.00 to repair the motor, despite it still having over a year of warranty on it. I don't trust Triumph when it comes to warranty any more, which is a shame, as I have had 9 Triumphs over the past decade...

Yeah, re- used from the original system.

Yeah, it's quite a tight fit, but it does work with a little persuasion.
Hey man, I hope you are having a good time I wanted to ask Is there any way to get a full system with catalytic converter
With a cat? I don’t think so. Spark do a full system that’s homologated for road use though. Hola buenas me puedes decir de que marca son los colectores akrapovic solo vende la bala que colectores son esos que montas
They are Spark headers for fitment to. A 2020-2022 model.
Spark now make their own full system for this model. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great looking bike. Now with great sound also :-). Wish Triumph would make a bike with full fearing and upright seating position with that engine.
Pretty upright as it is and no fearing anything anyhow

How did you fit the Akra near the rider footpeg? Because there is some space 5:56 between the exhaust and nut. Did you buy some extra part for that?
Small short video coming on that that i forgot to edit in, but essentially I used an old paddock stand cotton reel as a spacer. Worked perfectly, have since replaced with a couple of rubber spacers.
were your spark headers for a 2021 to 2022 model? SPARK RC GTR8502 ?
Yeah, that's the ones. From / for the 2022 model.
is the rapid bike module necessary? can it be remapped without?

@@twistandgo3414 thank you
Did you have to get a tune done
You don’t HAVE to, but it’s definitely running better than it was with just the auto tune on the rapidbike and also up on power.
hello
the akra silencer is compatible with the original collector of the street rs 2023?
If you cut the cat off yes. I fitted Spark headers. You could fit headers from the previous model 765 too.
Very nice!!!
Thanks. 👍😎
Do you have any links to the akro exhaust

Rapidbike evo module and custom dyno tune. All that content is coming.
@@twistandgo3414 Cool, curious to see what these new motors put out.
Perte de puissances ?
No. Gained around 10bhp from decat alone and saved 8kg in weight.
Did you fit an servo eliminator to the gsxs?
No, as it doesn’t have one on uk models. Assuming you mean the 750.
@twistandgo3414 ahh I thought it had was skimming forums came across the thread. Fair enough I assumed it had
@twistandgo3414 keep seeing healtech servo eliminator connections on uk sites for the gsxs750
What akro link pipe did you use they seemed to come in the same box but i cant find it
just the pipe that came with the exhaust.
shoe no longer passes?
I haven't had it tested, but it's quite fruity... So bought an MHP can for track days that I know WILL pass any noise limits.
do you have a link for buy this exhaust
Headers purchased from ebay via dragomoto.
End can purchased from Calsport also actually via their ebay shop.
how much did you pay for the header
Purchased through ebay via dragomoto Will pay import tax if in uk though. Still worked out about £50 cheaper buying direct than from a uk supplier.
Suena muy parecido a la mt 09
Same engine layout being a triple.
