One request/suggestion (although it may not bother you, I just like the thought and feeling of it), I think you should change the kit numbers to the players actual numbers for Arsenal in game as well. Gives the squad that little extra personal touch. PS keep up the content, big fan for many years
Yeah some players that I've wanted to EVO seem to be just outside requirements.. but, it gives me time to pack the players first so I can have them as First Owner Evos. (To be fair,, I have done Colwill, Matseen and Badiahile Evos so far, on top of Havertz as a past Chelsea player). But I'm sure there will be plenty more opportunity going forwards@@TomWatts11
Hey Nep, as a competitive tournament player in Teamfight Tactics, I can almost guarantee that your performance issues in champs are mental/psychological, and not mechanical/physical. when I go into a tournament and stress myself out, consciously or subconsciously, it always goes bad. Stress and Pressure can be useful but self inflicted stress and pressure hinders your performance by introducing blocks. I can only recommend for you to delve deeper into the mental strength and focus going into next champs as opposed to the team/tactics/gameplay mechanics, although that can always be useful. Good vid Nep. I’d imagine EA have spoken a lot internally about how to keep people playing the game for longer after they enter the game. Most people used to play during the weekend and during the week just logon to see 6pm content. Evo’s are EAs attempt at getting people interested and playing the game for longer. And for me it’s working. I never thought i’d play squad battles like i am. Really enjoying the game this year. Ps people don’t watch your videos for how good or bad you are. They watch your content because they enjoy your content. So don’t stress about winning or losing (easier said than done i know)
Im from New Zealand and doing a Evo Wellington Phoenix team. Fully bronze with 2 silvers to start with. Enjoying it so much, and its the only reason Im logging onto FC24 every day. I am hating online gameplay this year, so sweaty and i just am not good enough to slog through it, but Ive played more squad battles than ever before, really comfortably getting Elite 2, but i dont play every game every week. Im really hoping there are some more golden glow up type evos as half my team is still silver and gold rated. Even if every player was about 82 rated, far below the meta, Id enjoy playing fc so much more. But playing with bronzes is impossible
People who do evo teams, I love. I have so much respect for it. Im doing the same with my Norwegian team Vålerenga. My midfielder have gone from 60 to 84 and I love him. Also pretty happy about the Josh King evo I did as a former player of ours. Now I just need a hero John Carew, hero Ronny Johnsen, hero Henning Berg , hero Tore Andre Flo and hero Steffen Iversen EA😂
Hi Nep! Just curious on your thoughts on this. Do you think the prices of paid evolutions should scale with the rating of the upgrade? I have 9 Portsmouth players evo'd so far between 69 and 76 rating (none have been legible for juiced double upgrades yet). I'd love to do everything possible to improve them however its hard to justify paying the same 150k people are using to get llorente as I would be to get Tom Lowery from 73 to 76, even with the prospect of future upgrades. Do you think prices should scale down slightly based on the rating of the upgraded card?
Hey Nep, I think Evo's are brilliant. Normally I play career mode with a lot of restrictions to myself, such as always on ultimate, no match restarting, not buying players, only youth, using a team from English 4th division. This way I get to see my players grow each season to absolute beasts. It's amazing that this concept is now translated to UT, making it so much more engaging. Especially the way you are doing this RTG. Keep up the good work. Actually thinking of buying this game for Christmas instead of just playing my FIFA 21 career.
This was my first weekend playing champs and it was shocking. Went 5-8 and got super frustrated with people playing only one way. But it is wat it is…Love the vids Nep ❤
Keep up, my first Champs weekend was like 3-4 years ago with an equal result, but if you wanna get better listen to pro players. It helped me a lot, but i dont play Champs anymore. You can go 18-2 an still be frustrated
I've been doing a MUFC "past & present" RTG since day one and can honestly say it's an enjoyable grind. I have Blanc & Vidic at CB, Beck's in at CM, with Depay on the way. Also started to evolve Mainoo & Garnacho in the hope there's better evo's to come. Worth the effort IMO.
I'm more interested in current players tbh and the evolutions for Bayern (my fav team) are either horrible or non existent. I did Mathys Tel and he's actually goated

As someone who rarely plays Fifa anymore, and if I do it's really casual and normally Pro Clubs, having the introduction of Evos makes me want to follow series such as yours longer than I normally would. I'm the stereotypical UT player that plays for around a month then stops once the meta is found and other notable game releases happen. However, its honestly awesome to see a team as unique and interesting as yours this early into the game. If I ever were to commit to playing UT, Evos would be the change that makes me do it.

I started a Chelsea evo squad a month or so ago as I am a Chelsea fan myself. I have my sweat team but when it gets too much the Chelsea squad is a good relaxation type team where playing the game becomes more enjoyable and less stressful. Only one slight downfall is that a couple of the evos actually dont fit any chelsea players mens or women’s including fc founders evo, but we make do with what we got.

Love this series Nep, so much so ive copied with an arsenal evo to glory, unfortunately not all first owner as started it this week and evos would have expired waiting to pack them. It was so much fun building my true dream team, and even managed to go 11-7 in WL after a week with this club. It was tough but the wins felt so much better. Keep up the great content 🙂
I did Doetki for 1st CB evo and he wont fit this evo cuz phy is 1 too high smmfh,i tried using cards,none of them fit anymore evos,my gg up 1 and 2 kamara dont fit any more evos and he was a bronze Edit:tbh couldve done kamara instead of llorente but for that price i had to do llorente

Hello Nep. I've have a problem with Evos. I would love to do a Borussia Dortmund RTG, however alot of evos leav3s out players. For exemple, I wanted to Evo my favourite player Reus in the 150k offensive mid evo, however his shooting is 83 and max is 82. Similiar with other players in other evos. I think that evos should have a max overall rating, but then have a set boost with a max roof, for exemple a pace boost of 10 with max 85 meaning a player with 80 pace only get a 5 pace boost. What is your take on it?
Nep the 2 evo players didn't work for me ? Completed a player then selected another and the redeemed the completed player and didn't allocate another space 😅😅😅 looks like it's the hard grind for me
10000% agree with the sentiments about having something to play for with your own personal attachment to evos. Been a fifa point meta sweat for years this year I’ve gone to full Aussie evo and dropped from 16-18 wins to 11-14 and from elite Div down to Div 2 but it feels SO much better playing with all my Aussie boys and girls. Yo me too, what Aussies are you using for your evos? I picked up Kerr and cahill cheap, and packed TOTW McGree Cant make myself buy kewell for 250-300k, seems too much... Then have evod a couple of the Aussie players but theeyre just so low rating. Especially cos i wasted my golden glow ups adn founders evos before deciding to do this
I’ve got big Alana Kennedy at CB, she’s slow but she’s a beast of an 85 rated, jmac up top at an 84 rated now he’s actually unreal. Got Bos at LB who’s still only a 72 and a bit mid. Packed kewel and Cahill in hero packs but got mabil in progress as a a centurions winger

Yea Nep, I’ve been goin back and fourth for months on if I should go meta or just do player I have a connection with. An I did wat my heart said an didn’t go meta. Best decision I had. Love playing FIFA now an can’t wait to get on. I would tell everyone to do the same an get back to having fun!!!!

The part where you touch on the amount of wins you need in fut champs myself I prefer watching you as a player struggling and trying like the rest of us getting 11 wins is a lot more relatable than say watching skillz who gets rank 1 every week which is super impressive but I just feel like he’s way out my league watching a pro much prefer the everyday man playing and grinding and just see where you end up 👍

Hey Nep, loving the series and am much more invested than previous years due to the evos. Do you think they should remove the max stats like max 80 pace and instead include a max stats after upgrade so rather than going from say 79 pace to 84 it would be 81 pace to 84. I have had so many players I have been unable to upgrade due to being 1 stat over. I know there are lots of players but like you I don’t want to do the meta. I started with 2 meta players due to none of the Chelsea players being applicable but have no desire to play them.
I started evolving and using players I love more (bayern fan) last week and this week I evolved gnabry into an 87 I got goretzka from the TOTW pp and I got Kane (best striker ITW) from a 100k pack. I hope I can pack more bayern players 🤝
Hey nep you probably already know this but I will mention it anyway incase you don’t, apparently double tapping rb/r1 when your jockeying in defence makes two players round you mark closer players giving you a higher chance of retaining the ball, like I said I may already know this but thought I would mention it incase you don’t and it would definitely help you online
Champs was HORRIBLE this week for some reason. I finished 17-3 twice last season. Barely got 13 wins this weekend. It was extremely sweaty for some reason
im doing a mixture of both meta and fun players, luckily as a united fan malacia, lindelof and garnacho have all been near the top end of the evo's anyway but whilst completing them ive also done llorente and joao felix. a lot of fun if you dont drain your soul fully into the meta
I'm in the same mindset, but my favourite club only has one gold and some stats are like 1 too high on others, so im sort of forced into using other players
The FUT founder situation is fucked. We had no CLEAR indication as to when, how many, and what kind of evolutions we were going to have later on. Also, we were extremely limited in our choices, only gold rare strikers 83 max. What the hell? I had to choose Danjuma for chemistry purposes, and a few days later he was already rotting in my club. He does not interest me at all. Why weren't we able to upgrade ANY striker? Or even ANY player that is 83 and below????
I totally agree with you. This Champs felt like a depression. Some games every single thing went my way. I got every second ball and every tackle. Other games felt like everything was against me. I believe some of the loses are my fault but I still believe scripting is a thing.
I did Havertz Founders Evo and the only reason I don't want to put him in the Centurion one is that I don't want to lose the unique card design.. so if what Nep says is true, that there will be more Founders Evos in the future, then I have no problem in putting him in...

ive started doing a Chelsea evo team just today, im feeling more optimistic about my experience. Ive found that over the course of the game so far ive stopped celebrating when I win and score sometimes and only react when I lose or concede. This ends up making me play worse. I think evos are the way to go to enjoy the game. However, the way the evolutions lounge is constructed makes me really not enjoy the game 😅. Edit: finally figured out evo lounge, got the evo done, hopped in to rivals and had higher xg in every game but lost 3/4, even the last one which I won the guy's keeper had 13 saves compared to mine making two
Neps i am a portuguese fan and my fav club is benfica. I am doing an rtg evolving benfica players but some evos dont have any current players so i do some past players like felix and its going great. Its the first fifa or EA FC that i feel like its not the same from previous years. And i still get 14 wins because i dont get frustrate with the players because i love them
Hey nep, I know you don’t want to buy players to use in evo’s but dupe theory has been real good for me this year, everytime I buy a player I seem to pack them soon enough. Might be worth buying and testing your luck for a first owner one :)

I did Doetki for 1st CB evo and he wont fit this evo cuz phy is 1 too high smmfh,i tried using cards,none of them fit anymore evos,my gg up 1 and 2 kamara dont fit any more evos and he was a bronze

Hello Nep. I've have a problem with Evos. I would love to do a Borussia Dortmund RTG, however alot of evos leav3s out players. For exemple, I wanted to Evo my favourite player Reus in the 150k offensive mid evo, however his shooting is 83 and max is 82. Similiar with other players in other evos. I think that evos should have a max overall rating, but then have a set boost with a max roof, for exemple a pace boost of 10 with max 85 meaning a player with 80 pace only get a 5 pace boost. What is your take on it?

10000% agree with the sentiments about having something to play for with your own personal attachment to evos. Been a fifa point meta sweat for years this year I’ve gone to full Aussie evo and dropped from 16-18 wins to 11-14 and from elite Div down to Div 2 but it feels SO much better playing with all my Aussie boys and girls. I’ve got big Alana Kennedy at CB, she’s slow but she’s a beast of an 85 rated, jmac up top at an 84 rated now he’s actually unreal. Got Bos at LB who’s still only a 72 and a bit mid. Packed kewel and Cahill in hero packs but got mabil in progress as a a centurions winger

Yea Nep, I’ve been goin back and fourth for months on if I should go meta or just do player I have a connection with. An I did wat my heart said an didn’t go meta. Best decision I had. Love playing FIFA now an can’t wait to get on. I would tell everyone to do the same an get back to having fun!!!!

The part where you touch on the amount of wins you need in fut champs myself I prefer watching you as a player struggling and trying like the rest of us getting 11 wins is a lot more relatable than say watching skillz who gets rank 1 every week which is super impressive but I just feel like he’s way out my league watching a pro much prefer the everyday man playing and grinding and just see where you end up 👍

Hey Nep, loving the series and am much more invested than previous years due to the evos. Do you think they should remove the max stats like max 80 pace and instead include a max stats after upgrade so rather than going from say 79 pace to 84 it would be 81 pace to 84. I have had so many players I have been unable to upgrade due to being 1 stat over. I know there are lots of players but like you I don’t want to do the meta. I started with 2 meta players due to none of the Chelsea players being applicable but have no desire to play them.
I started evolving and using players I love more (bayern fan) last week and this week I evolved gnabry into an 87 I got goretzka from the TOTW pp and I got Kane (best striker ITW) from a 100k pack. I hope I can pack more bayern players 🤝
Hey nep you probably already know this but I will mention it anyway incase you don’t, apparently double tapping rb/r1 when your jockeying in defence makes two players round you mark closer players giving you a higher chance of retaining the ball, like I said I may already know this but thought I would mention it incase you don’t and it would definitely help you online

Champs was HORRIBLE this week for some reason. I finished 17-3 twice last season. Barely got 13 wins this weekend. It was extremely sweaty for some reason
im doing a mixture of both meta and fun players, luckily as a united fan malacia, lindelof and garnacho have all been near the top end of the evo's anyway but whilst completing them ive also done llorente and joao felix. a lot of fun if you dont drain your soul fully into the meta

The FUT founder situation is fucked. We had no CLEAR indication as to when, how many, and what kind of evolutions we were going to have later on. Also, we were extremely limited in our choices, only gold rare strikers 83 max. What the hell? I had to choose Danjuma for chemistry purposes, and a few days later he was already rotting in my club. He does not interest me at all. Why weren't we able to upgrade ANY striker? Or even ANY player that is 83 and below????
I think you should Cech another run out. Lower your expectations on him and I can guarantee you that at worst he's a big upgrade on Ramsdale.

I totally agree with you. This Champs felt like a depression. Some games every single thing went my way. I got every second ball and every tackle. Other games felt like everything was against me. I believe some of the loses are my fault but I still believe scripting is a thing.
I did Havertz Founders Evo and the only reason I don't want to put him in the Centurion one is that I don't want to lose the unique card design.. so if what Nep says is true, that there will be more Founders Evos in the future, then I have no problem in putting him in...

I got 18-2 for the first time on FC this weekend with a good side but nothing “meta” just players I enjoy in real life. Luckily packed Figo from rewards so I’ve sold him to put more coins towards Evoing players I’ll enjoy

Ye it's funny how some meta cards are cheap. The best Polish pro player (damie) uses Araujo in his online tournament games.
ive started doing a Chelsea evo team just today, im feeling more optimistic about my experience. Ive found that over the course of the game so far ive stopped celebrating when I win and score sometimes and only react when I lose or concede. This ends up making me play worse. I think evos are the way to go to enjoy the game.
However, the way the evolutions lounge is constructed makes me really not enjoy the game 😅. Edit: finally figured out evo lounge, got the evo done, hopped in to rivals and had higher xg in every game but lost 3/4, even the last one which I won the guy's keeper had 13 saves compared to mine making two
I evolved llorente cause his gold was sick but i found that his evolve is worse now for it personally

Neps i am a portuguese fan and my fav club is benfica. I am doing an rtg evolving benfica players but some evos dont have any current players so i do some past players like felix and its going great. Its the first fifa or EA FC that i feel like its not the same from previous years. And i still get 14 wins because i dont get frustrate with the players because i love them
