- Hi Guys,
In this video I will show you how I diagnosed and replaced a bad Blower Motor for your 2009-2015 Toyota Venza. This also work similar for most Toyota vehicle within that year.
Here are some tools you will need:
1. Philip head/Flat head screw driver
2. 8mm and 10mm socket
3. Pry tool
Thanks, hope you enjoy this video.

Had a blower motor just go out on my daughter's 2013 Venza, did a quick UA-cam search, and found your video. Perfect video to get me started, thanks for creating.
I had a few differences with mine which I will mention for other folks attempting the repair/replacement. The three screws holding in the blower motor on my car have a T-21 Torx head, or you could use an 8mm socket. I went with the 8mm socket as the screw closest to the firewall did not have great access. Also, be careful prying up the kick-plate, or else you will be replacing those push pins. Easy job, had it replaced in less than 30 minutes.
Thanks for sharing and help other people save money 🙂
Thanks for the video. Exactly what I needed. Original motor lasted about 236,000 miles, but just started failing. Take care!
You welcome, glad it help
Thanks posting this! I had a stupid mouse make a nest on top of my cabin air filter. When I pulled it out to change it stuff fell down into the blower. It made a bit of noise for two days and then I hit a big bump and it sucked more stuff in while I’m 700 miles from home on vacation. Since you said what tools were needed, I went to Harbor Freight and picked up what I needed.
Thanks!
Glad it help you
That mouse's cousin must have lived in my garage. He picked that exact place to die and, in cleaning him out, I pushed junk into my blower so found this video. I hope it's as easy to access as it looks.
Great video! You explained this perfectly. I had a mouse get in and needed to clean up the air filter paper. Thank you!

Great step-by-step video. You make it seem so simple! Just a question, is the Air Outlet Control Servo Motor can be accessed from that area? Thanks!
Would like to know this as well
Thanks... Another very helpful video.

This video was perfect to help me do this myself. I successfully changed the blower! The only issue now is the blower turns off about 3-4 seconds AFTER I turn off the car. I’m wondering what might be causing the delay in turning off the blower?
Awesome! I'm glad it help you out 😀
Thank u
You welcome, glad it help.
Thanks for the video, my venza has similar issue, may i know which brand of blower motor you use? The adtermarket brand? Or toyota genuine parts? Hows the motor now? Thank you very much.
Generic brand. I believe I bought that one from Rockauto.com. You can check there, sometimes they have oem too. As for the motor it’s been running great no problem.
The last button for fan not coming
On. What would that be cause the motor sound fine.
