It's known as progress.. evolution.. Innovation.. etc etc. I'm sure you go around in a horse... 'cause all automobiles nowadays still suffer from tech failing on us. 😂 and even a horse does get tired of taking our asses everywhere.
Much better looking than the Ford F150 Lightning. Maybe because it's a new design. And love the crab walk, super cruise and the fold down wall in the middle.
Having a more tradional-ish front end makes it a better looker over the Silverado EV imo Again, great job on GM for it and all of their other recent EV models; it's great to see them have direction & a defined goal in the EV space 👍
Why not 500 lol man I’m just scared of driving and worrying about charging the truck I’ll get stuck there’s tons of gas stations and I’ll worry about finding a charger somewhere especially if I were to travel anywhere I live in south Texas I wish they can sell a solar charger pack battery for when u run out of battery u can just plug it in and it gives it juice to about 250 to 300 miles

Most people will never be able to afford this truck--just like they cannot afford to buy a brand new Mercedes S-class. Also, who wants $50,000 lost to depreciation in just 3-years? Electric vehicles are much simpler mechanically and have 90% fewer moving parts. So, why do they cost so much more than a gas vehicle?
The cost of the battery. And also development cost of a brand new platform, chassis, battery system, software, electronics etc are extremely expensive.

Tesla is growing, EV companies like Lucid, Rivian, Neo, & Rimac are entering the market, Dodge is coming out with an EV Charger, Ford built that ugly Mach E & weak F-150 Lightning, Chevy is starting to make a lot more EV's than they used to, Audi has made an E-Tron version of pretty much every gas-powered model they've produced over the years (including the r8), the Camaro's production is ending in a few years, there's an EV corvette out there somewhere, Lamborghini has killed off the V12 Aventador & will very much soon do the same to the V10 Huracan, GMC is coming out with the EV Hummer and as we now see; an EV Sierra, and most of the cars BMW is producing nowadays are either plug-in hybrids or full EV's.
so when we though it was the GMC HD testing it was this truck because i looked at every HD the silverado and the GMC none had this unique orange signal lighting

Yeah right, we have blackouts every other day right. These cars don't take much energy than a washing machine. How many people have to run washing machine every single night? Not every EV owners have to charge every single night. Usually some blackouts are given heads-up, so you can charge your vehicle in a different time to take off the burden. Why do you nuts sound like we are using the same grid from 1950 and not updating/upgrading/scaling every so often. Do you think we used same amount of electricity for past 50 years and suddenly after you saw the ad of an EV, the usage of electricity gone up? That's where government gives a timeline, like 2035, 2040 etc so that we will learn what is needed and upgrade accordingly (sorry Texas, I'm not talking about you, you can stay with your age old grid and cause problems to your people). More than 50% of EV owners who own a home plan to get solar panels systems. That takes off burden on the grid.
They want everyone to GO GREEN, it's great for the environment and so on, but put these astronomical prices on these EV vehicles, that technically should be a lot cheaper than gas/diesel vehicles because of some much less moving parts Is there some type of govt incentive to purchase an EV? This vehicle should be no more than $50,000- $60,000 Jmo🤷🏾♂️
