I live in Türkiye (Turkey) most of the mechanics say to me we are not reassamble chain cover (pink plastic thing) when I say Why? They say to me this plastic tend to get crunchy and block enterance of oil filter is it logical ?
Да, такое иногда случается. Но лопается он от старости и перегревов. Убирать его не следует, но при ремонте ставьте новый всегда, вне зависимости от его состояния. И будет долго и счастливо всё работать. 👌 Я при каждом ремонте устанавливаю их новые и всегда всё в порядке. А если оставить старые, то да, это может случиться. Сталкивался с таким.
Not yet. If it is before a rebuild there are reports of the Internal Mode Switch coming apart. Have not seen one do it myself yet. If it is after a rebuild it could be the roll pin that holds the rooster comb to the shaft is either in too far or not far enough.
I have two 6T40 transmissions, both with MH8 RPO however one also came with FX6 so the gear ratios are different. If I swap the differential components and the TECM from the junk one to the good one, would that be all that is needed to be changed?
@@CurmudgeonTransmission I went through both trannys using your videos as a guide. The only difference was the chain and sprockets. Every other gear set was identical. Thanks again for the help. Saved me a pile of money.
i have a gen 3 from a 2018 malibu where the auto stop accumulator was bad, so the driver though that going wide open throttle would solve the problem, but no, they ended up burning the first gear

Di negara anda apakah sudah ada yang membuat dari bahan palat besi, di indonesia chevrolet spin 6T30 juga bermasalah di deflektor dari plastik berwarna jingga
@@saifulmx1432 Они не оранжевые, такими они становятся от трансмиссионной жидкости. Когда они новые, они белого цвета. Просто так они не рассыпятся, они лопаются от перегрева и старости. При ремонте трансмиссии ставьте новые и они прослужат вам очень долго, если с охлаждением всё в порядке.

Thanks! This is the second comment I have gotten from overseas about thse baffles. I have never seen one broken yet. Maybe it is a problem over there.

I got one the Detent Shaft won’t come out of park. Even with the shift cable removed. You ever seen that?

Chain and the sprockets may be different as well. Everything else should be the same.

They should have just turned the start/stop feature off until they could fix it. Don't know why they thought that would fix it.
