Thanks for you comment. Yes, I like it lighter as well. The darker color was necessary but it added a little to much black in my opinion. It so easy to adjust the color with this process.
Looked for a solution to church second, not often used, kitchen. Seam separation and swelling. Feeling like this is a winner, and much less expensive that replacing tops.
