It would appear that it didn't matter in this instance, but with urza and the basalt monolith combo you can also make infinite blue mana, not just colorless.
Yeah I don’t think it mattered, since he could’ve just cast Transmute Artifact instead of isochron scepter, although he would’ve needed a couple of extra mana to do that, so maybe it wouldn’t have worked? I don’t have the exact count of his mana, but you’re definitely right
@@Crona975it wouldn’t change, he paid for the activation with blue mana from Cage, that plus tapping Scepter to activate is the same mana as casting Transmute from hand instead
Speaking of Grafdiggers cage, I'd love to see a p2w podcast on a breakdown of the top cedh meta decks vs the top stax pieces based off how many important lines get shut off. But keep doing what you guys are doing, it's the best
I'm pretty sure Gemstone Caverns works differently with stuff like Fellwar Stone because it has a replacement effect as part of its mana ability. If it doesn't have a Luck Counter it can only produce colorless mana so Fellwar Stone can't produce colored mana from it.
@@wessmarkart3041 Forensic Gadgeteer or Power Artifact reduce Pili-Pala’s ability cost to one mana. This, coupled with Urza, allows you to make infinite mana. Step by step it goes like this: Prerequisites: You need all three permanents on the battlefield (if using Power Artifact, it must be attached to Pili-Pala) step 1: activate Urza’s ability, tapping Pili-Pala to add one blue mana Step 2: spend that one blue mana to activate Pili-Pala, untapping it and adding one mana of any color. Ohhh i didnt even think about that, infinite colorless then use to make infinite blue tapping to urza
I don’t think it matters, but Scepter couldn’t even imprint Transmute, it’s a sorcery.

@@jonnybirch2268 yeah it would have been relevant with the chain on the stack. idk if he would have had enough to reactivate the basalt.

Not to mention, Imprinting is a May ability. Or at least on Isochron Scepter it is.
@ correct, if he just declined to imprint and cast from hand tapping Cage/Scepter the result is the same
isochron scepter only imprrint instant.. not sorcery.. transmute artifact is a sorcery
Mindbreak trap was active on cams win, isochron scepter says you may cast the copy
But so it was Isochron and the copy, no? Basalt was not cast, just put into play.
lol you guys playing cedh and then just feeding the fish until they explode
I have so much respect for Dylan still Glarbin it up.
Yes more content on *HIS MOISTNESS*!
Couldn't tell since there was a cut right around here but mindbreak trap only hits spells, you'd still draw 2 off the ring activation.
Straight faced staring contest with Dylan 😮 Bro needs eyes, brow, and lip wrangler 😂 GGs
You would not believe how fast I clicked the video when I saw glarb

Yooooo Cyrus!!!! So cool when some of my favorite content creators play together!!! Thanks for another awesome one.
Hannah casually discarding cards that win the game
i loooove gadgeteer in urza, definetly his best card printed this year
4:54 fellwar stone taps for all colors since gemstone caverns is on the field, fellwar doesn't check for specific things such as counters
8:15 You can't put transmute artifact under Isochron Scepter as it only works with instants.
Never heard of Phyrexian Hannah before, but anyone that looks even remotely metal in the Mtg sphere will perk my interest. So i googled her. Whoops 🙈
Same here lol
well played cam, didnt expect this end
I'm loving the San proxy for Kinnan. Anybody who loves Mononoke Hime automatically gets my respect.
Love it when cam plays Urza
cyrexian actually did have blue mana at 5:03 becasue gemstone caverns can technically produce all colors

Dylan love the playmat. My buddy just got me those sleeves for Xmas. Put them right on my atraxa deck
Morning fellas! ❤❤❤
So criminal to not have Tivit on this episode
How viable do you think Arcum Daggson is in the cEDH meta now?
Question, what is Pili-Pala doing in the urza deck, what I'm I missing?
Combos with Urza and Forensic Gadgeteer/ Power Artifact
@@wyattmaniscalco3090 please elaborate, dosen't this just lets you untap and tap the pili-pala endlessly?

Thinking about blue farm colors stranger things commanders turbo nays shell thoughts?
Im on this but no turbo. And its nice
This game is so cursed 😂, poor sequencing and the isochron thing could have mattered depending on the interaction
Could you standardize player placement? Dylan is normal top left, and Cam is normally top right, idk why but it messes up my brain lol
Glarb is great :D but it looks like you play too many lands lol
The cable is super annoing!
bible many nations, world from pangia to hope not long for this.. forward..
We had a game like that friday it was just a slow grind everyone mulled down to 4 or 5 just had bad draws it was a slog of a game
Artifacts decks no Shorikai 💔
No Oswald in an artifact showdown? How disappointing…
Cam misplayed. Scepter can't imprint transmute artifact lol
ah, because its a sorcery xD
CYRUS and HANNAH?!? WOOP WOOP!!!
Neh CROP uh tence
quick note that because there is a gemstone caverns into play fellwar stone taps for white
Wasn't in play off a pregame action so gemstone only gives colorless
Dylan also had a Forbidden Orchard.
IM A SIMPLE MAN: I SEE KINNAN I SMASH THE LIKE BUTTON
Couldnt of you have twistered though and given your opponents a fresh seven to be a able to counter the ballista in exile… so not exactly a win?
69$!
I'm surprised this game was so bland... I guess they gave a chance to their guests in sake of the audience. :v
Is never not moving your face while the other one is talking a conscious choice?
another play mistake on this channel. so much for cedh
