Though I was born in the early 80s, I remember one Christmas where I received a model train set as a child. It was perfectly themed for Christmas, painted red with gold decor on it, with a cotton sheet around it for snow. I remember that the lights were dimmed as I watched it run along the tracks. That was a good memory. I guess that sort of developed a sense for nostalgia and delight when I see train sets.
I wish I had known about the show. I have my (mostly) USA Trains A scale layout from Arizona now packed up in boxes in a closet in Maine with no place to set it up. Is there a publication or email list that I can subscribe to that will alert me to upcoming train shows in the Northeast? I'm interested in 45mm gauge and in HO scale. Thanks.
That's fantastic I think I mentally spent 10 grand. Love the attention to the layouts and the vendors products.

What a wonderful train show. If next year is even bigger that will really be something to see. Thank you for sharing with us.
I wish these train sets weren’t so expensive and could be much cheaper
If only these G scale locomotives weren’t so expensive
