If you put them in southern exposure they will need to be watered in the morning when it is hot and dry about every day. They need afternoon shade as do most plants. Try a panicle hydrangea. They tolerate and want more sun.
@@evanillasky Bloomstruck is an Endless Summer. I was confused at first too, but he explains it at the very first part and I also researched it to clarify it.
My endless summer blue will NOT tolerate sun. I am moving it. Gave it plenty of water but it droops and looks horrible. I put my patio umbrella over it until I can transplant it.
I have bought four of this and $55 each, it bloomed only one season. Two came back but had no flowers and the other two never came back the next season.
Wow so beautiful planting. Good share. Great job.🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤
Summer crush is the pink color one. I didn’t hear that name listed in this video but got it in 2024 at Lowe’s. Love it.
I got mine last year, they bloomed again this year.
Mine bloomed beautifully. It was in a large pot on my south patio so had some shade from the western sun.
I live in northern Kansas.
That is not true . It is afraid of afternoon sun. . My endless summer hydrangea’s blooms got burnt all the time
bloomstruck hydrangea is the heat tolerant ones.. not the endless summet. the endless summer cn only handle 6 hours of mprning sun.

planting any of these macrophylla in full sun is asking for trouble. if you need a hydrangea with real heat/cold tolerance, just get a paniculata.
I just bought one. Im so excited

If your soil isn't acidic it has trouble reblooming I've found - try supplementing with chelated iron
