Blaming HMS Sheffield is bunkem. She was equipped with Sea Dart which was hopeless at stopping Exocet. So off or on she was a sitting duck. She was at second degree readiness and was not warned of the inbound despite sightings being reported to the Invincible command and control. Never, ever blame the men who died.

My brother worked on the guidance system components for Sea Dart. He blew the PCB on my boiler too. So, effectively, it was obsolete even before it was put into use? Sh I aint told you that!

Wrong. There were multiple crew failings.

The French didn't tell Britain about the Exocet kill switch. They should have.

Frenches saved your whole Royal Navy from being sunk. If they had delivered the missiles they were supposed to deliver, your whole naval fleet would be at the bottom of South Atlantic.

They try to rewrite history. The 2 planes that carried that attack flew at high speed at just 15 meters above the sea surface so the RN didn't notice hoq many jets were attacking, and they launched 2 Exocets.
The images of HMS Sheffield being hit by the missiles were banned and are very difficult to find today, I remember seeing those images in TV shot very close from TV cameras and with incredible quality. The put them on TV news, the fighter jets flying around the ships at a Falklans/Malvinas bay and boms and missiles striking around. Back then Mrs Thatcher used her iron fist to censor all images showing that kind of images. Just like in the WW2.
