Ford sold Land Rover in 2008 and do not produce this vehicle or any Land Rover vehicles. This particular 5.0L V8 engine is an original Jaguar design named “AJ-V8” from around 1997. It is widely used in Jaguars, Land Rovers and was used in some Fords. Ford continued to produce the engine after buying Jaguar. Ford shut the factory around fall of 2020 and JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) took over manufacturing of this V8 at that point. So this is a Jaguar engine, manufactured by Jaguar, then Ford, and now by JLR.
