    I am brazilian and I support the Brics common currency. USA export their inflation and a lot of countries suffer. Furthermore, the dollar has become a weapon that only the US possesses. I don't want evil for the United States, I just want more dignity on the geopolitical board.

      It is what it is and Donald Trump will use as many dollars as he can to bring American taxpayers the largest deficit while they extract the resources and exchange it for gold and precious metals. As for the taxpayers, I expect no shortages on surprises enroute to making Trump great again.

    The United States likes to export their inflation, and if everyone in the world's not holding their dollars then they can't export that inflation. Also what's interesting and a lot of people don't know is when commercial Banks create new money they actually create new money out of thin air and loan it out and then charge interest on it. Approximately 97% of all currency in circulation is created by a commercial Banks they create new loans. So if you think about that for a minute if you get a 30-year mortgage you're going to be paying approximately 15 years or having to work 15 years to pay the bank for a loan they created out of thin air, it's a mind blowing let that sink in

      @chriso5842 as of 2020 the reserve was set to zero. Also when there was a small 5 or 10% reserve guess what they asked you for when you asked for a loan? They normally want 20% down which easily recovers the requirement. So they can create that new money and lend it out, it's amazing.

    The main problem with America other than weaponising the dollar to aid it's own foreign policy, is it thinks it still matters. Anything America export, can b bought from somewhere else ie china buying agriculture goods from Brazil and Argentina. When was the last time you bought something that was made in America. Once BRICS takes countries out of western suppressed poverty and these countries develope and grow their economies, china, Russia and the other BRICS countries know that they are creating consumers for the future

    I think that NO country should ever have the power to completely exclude any country from trading with ALL other countries. US banned Gazprombank and now Europe can't pay for their gas. US is prohibiting EU from making purchases? US is not their dad. In what universe is that okay? We desperately need alternative financial systems, multiple of them even, so that nobody could ever have this kind of leverage again.

    This is an opportunity for other countries to get ahead financially. It is pretty selfish to expect that they should give up their future prosperity for one country. Expecting that everyone should fall on the sword because for the first time the USA are experiencing financially heartships. Welcome to the rest of the world. Now they feel how it feels. BRICS will be the catalyst of the biggest wealth transfer that the world has ever seen. Best to move out of the way...There is a new kid in town.

US using Fed keep printing US$ when there is a crisis which is also concerning because by printing more US$ that no longer backed by GOLD Reserve mean the real Value of US$ will be more and more less, and 3. The world needs a reserve currency. However, in recent years, the United States has lost its reliability in fulfilling that role. Meanwhile, Germanic countries have proven their ability to establish trustworthy currencies (the pound, the euro and U.S dolar) In this context, the Germans are promoting the euro as the new hegemonic currency. The most concerning aspect is that we may no longer be able to maintain our quality of life if this situation persists. Ironically, this is a direct consequence of our own choices, as we have voted for corrupt and incompetent leaders.

    So, Mark, it seems that the Brics have chosen commodities such as oil, gold or resources of value such as lithium, rare earth or uranium as storage of value instead of bitcoin. Is that where the real wealth is in the future ? Does it matter if bitcoin is 1 million dollars if the Brics will be the holders of value and they will determine how many dollars they will accept for their commodities of value. Once they corner a market, they can determine whether they will trade in dollars and they will determine how many dollars or bitcoins they will accept. So you might be a billionaire on paper by owning bitcoin, but that bitcoin is still tied to the dollar currency which might be quasi worthless and hyperinflated. The Brics might decide to forego accepting US dollars and by proxy might give a similar weight to bitcoin, at least if you're trying to purchase something of value from the Brics countries, like Gallium, antimony or fluoride, uranium etc ...

      Who will hold the metals? Will they transfer them back and forth to settle transactions? Bitcoin is the solution

    • @bobmorane4926
      @bobmorane4926 7 днів тому

      @@chriso5842 Well, currency for transaction doesn't equate an asset of value. Traditionally most countries have held treasuries as a holder of value, but that's fading away quickly as we see. My point is that the value will migrate to tangible assets of value instead of proxies. In that respect, treasuries or bitcoins are just proxies. The Brics countries might eventually create their own proxies to hold value on a temporary basis for transactional value instead of treasuries or bitcoins. Or they might use different proxies backed with a commodity of value such as gold or oil.

      That agreement was not renewed a year ago. Saudi has been taking multiple currencies ever since while every country has been slowly dumping all their US bonds. The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CORPORATION of 1871 was dissolved out of the Tallahassee Fed Court in 2020; INVOLUNTARY CHAPTER 11. It was finalized on Jan 3, 2021, just before Biden stole the election. What we have been living thru is the gradual dismantling of a corporate government, thus the end of unconstitutional taxation and the massive move back to states authority over federal
