LYRICS:
If ever I would leave you
It wouldn't be in summer.
Seeing you in summer I never would go.
Your hair streaked with sun-light,
Your lips red as flame,
Your face witha lustre
that puts gold to shame!
But if I'd ever leave you,
It couldn't be in autumn.
How I'd leave in autumn I never will know.
I've seen how you sparkle
When fall nips the air.
I know you in autumn
And I must be there.
And could I leave you
running merrily through the snow?
Or on a wintry evening
when you catch the fire's glow?
If ever I would leave you,
How could it be in spring-time?
Knowing how in spring I'm bewitched by you so?
Oh, no! not in spring-time!
Summer, winter or fall!
No, never could I leave you at all!
She s so so so wonderful. Not many can come close to how special she was/is.
Yes, it's True. She's beauty enough. And pretty enough. And Her voice has good enough. And I love Her enough enough. Or a little bit more

Judy Garland was and always will be the gold standard for singing. Like Garland, Shirley and Eydie Gorme’ with their natural singing voices, leaves the listener in sheer ecstasy!
Judy Garland was one of Shirley's idols when growing up in Tiger Bay, Wales, UK. When Shirley became a star in her own right, the two ladies met when Judy attended one of Shirley's concerts in London. Judy really liked both Shirley's voice and her singing style, as it has always been unique. Besides having a top-tier voice, Shirley doesn't just stand there like a tree and open her mouth. And, neither did Judy! Both are performers! Judy gave young Shirley great advice on her career, as she was about ready to travel to the US for the first time. Shirley took that advice to heart, and over the last 70 years it has paid off for her. In 2000, Dame Shirley was inducted into the Guinness Book of World records for being the largest selling female artist from the United Kingdom. Like Judy, Shirley also wanted to venture into a movie career, but back in the day it was not easy for a mixed race person to get into the business. After a while, Shirley gave up that dream and concentrated on her music!
I cracked up when she smacked her head like she got a bad headache.
