Also when the camera's would have the 3 boys sitting together the other two would make fun of Colin's response when he would answer questions that they would be asked when there was nothing to make fun of him for. It was always Hannah who would engage with him and play so that is strange to watch that behavior in little ones. So I am not surprised Hannah teamed up back with him again when they got older. Kate always called Hannah the little mother cause she was always doing caring things for the other triplets. I grew up in a large family and its impossible for every child to get the attention they need and often there are the joining together with some siblings that go on for life. Everyone needs to grow up in time and lay down differences and know no one is perfect not even them and they can repeat the childhood behaviors that need corrected to continue on in life and not affect others in relationships.
You don't really get a deep mental evaluation when enlisting in the military. Not saying who is telling the truth one way or the other, but getting into the military isn't proof of mental stability.

On one show the family went Christmas shopping and when they were ready to pay Kate told Jon to go stand to the side with the kids. Kate went to pay for their purchases. All of a sudden Kate was yelling across the store saying to Jon,"what are you doing? Can't you see i need help? " After they left the store she yelled at him for just standing there not helping her. But keep in mind, she told him stand to the side with the kids. I wondered then why Jon didn't stick up for himself.

This family had a great opportunity - once upon a time. There obviously had to be cracks in the foundations of this family. When you choose to have eight kids you can expect to encounter problems. Plus one parent who is very self centred. Kate’s behaviour was very toxic to the upbringing of the children. The TV show did not help either. I am glad to hear the children all completed their education and will continue on to college. May they continue to grow to be outstanding adults and put the horror of their upbringing behind them.

I’m happy to see that the older kids are doing well. I remember the show, the divorce drama. I’m VERY happy that no one is into drugs or other negative coping behaviors. I hope the younger ones go on to be happy & healthy as well.
Colleen was such a wonderful woman to Collin, Hannah, and Jon. I’m sad they didn’t work out but I’m so happy both Jon and Colleen were mature enough to allow the connection between Collin and Hannah to continue. Unlike Kate who doesn’t have that maturity level and parental alienation is her ‘thing.’

Kate is a total control freak who always came off as a mean, angry, unhappy person. I doubt she will ever be a happy person because she won't admit her own shortcomings and work on them. When one always blames their unhappiness on others because they can't see that they are responsible for their own happiness they will remain unhappy. Once one realizes happiness comes from within oneself and also from being grateful for everything you already have, that is when true happiness occurs!
Kate was always a horrible woman. I hated her almost instantly when I saw an episode of the show. I didn’t watch it after that but I remember thinking Kate had borderline personality disorder. It's horrible the treatment Collin received by Kate. Collin was a child and she sent him to an institute for his behavior. She never visit or checked on him. To this day, she never checks on him. She never loved him. She doesn't know what unconditional love is and she taught Maddy the same thing. They only know self love & what benefits them. Thank goodness, Collin has a father, sister (Hannah) to show what unconditional love is and support! Kate is pure evil. She's lazy. She looks for easy money without working hard. She stole from her kids to live a lavish life. Today, she is unemployed when she could be doing, working anywhere but she believes she is too good and thinks she's a "celebrity" that she can't get a "regular" job. She'll end up with someone old with lots of money so she can inherit it. Mark my words. Jon is such a great father. It's sad that other siblings can't see that because of their mom. Same goes for the children to rekindle relationships with Collin and Hannah and see how wonderful they are. Thank you Collin for wanting to serve for our country.

I think 8 kids (6 coming all at once) was too much for Kate and she then to foolishly put herself on blast on tv for the whole world to see was her biggest mistake. She put herself under unnecessary pressure to be camera perfect and didnt have the patience for it and took it out on Jon. They'd probably have been fine but with the cameras rolling she lost her cool while Jon was just trying to be a regular guy. They seemed very much in love before the cameras came. I think Kate will look back later in life and realize the fame wasnt worth it and she behaved poorly.

This family had a great opportunity - once upon a time. There obviously had to be cracks in the foundations of this family. Once the money was introduced, it was like gasoline to the already fragile situation. Their family went up in flames - and still has not recovered.
Truly, I always did feel bad for them all. It's never a good thing when a family is ripped apart.
I can’t even imagine Mady being in the customer service department! I would NEVER want to deal with her EVER! She hasn’t changed! And if I had a son interested in her I’d tell him to RUN! She’d be a nightmare to live with just like her mama!

So sad for the kids. Given they would have split even if not on reality TV, being so public must have put so much pressure on everyone. Crazy they are all grown! I used to watch their show religiously and always thought Jon had the patience of a saint. What a shame the family is so torn apart.
Reality TV will either make you or Break you. Look at Mama June, that family is so split you'd think they will never recover.
When you choose to have eight kids you can expect to encounter problems. Plus one parent who is very self centred. Kate’s behaviour was very toxic to the upbringing of the children. The TV show did not help either. I am glad to hear the children all completed their education and will continue on to college. May they continue to grow to be outstanding adults and put the horror of their upbringing behind them.

Not like she was before. She probably makes 40/ hr which is really good. But not compared to before.
@@NurseSue425 I ama retired RN. Since she is experienced she makes about 80,000 a yr. She has no kids at home now so she can get by. Her kids in college can get student loans like we all did.

I’m happy to see that the older kids are doing well. I remember the show, the divorce drama. I’m VERY happy that no one is into drugs or other negative coping behaviors. I hope the younger ones go on to be happy & healthy as well.
Colleen was such a wonderful woman to Collin, Hannah, and Jon. I’m sad they didn’t work out but I’m so happy both Jon and Colleen were mature enough to allow the connection between Collin and Hannah to continue. Unlike Kate who doesn’t have that maturity level and parental alienation is her ‘thing.’

Kate is a total control freak who always came off as a mean, angry, unhappy person. I doubt she will ever be a happy person because she won't admit her own shortcomings and work on them. When one always blames their unhappiness on others because they can't see that they are responsible for their own happiness they will remain unhappy. Once one realizes happiness comes from within oneself and also from being grateful for everything you already have, that is when true happiness occurs!
Kate was always a horrible woman. I hated her almost instantly when I saw an episode of the show. I didn’t watch it after that but I remember thinking Kate had borderline personality disorder. I also remember feeling sorry for her husband and kids. Looks like I was right. The family dynamics aren’t great.

Maddy was a younger version of her mother..which is why Kate was always challenged by Maddy until she was a young teen and then Kate and Maddy were buddies…two of a kind verbally abusing whoever irritated them. It was so hard to watch Kate screaming, yelling, sarcasm nonstop, nothing anyone did was good enough for her..and she made herself out to be the victim “poor me, I have to do everything “. I would love to hear from the crew that worked on that show as to how bad it really was, but Im sure they sign NDAs. If those ever expire they could write some serious money making books.

It's horrible the treatment Collin received by Kate. Collin was a child and she sent him to an institute for his behavior. She never visit or checked on him. To this day, she never checks on him. She never loved him. She doesn't know what unconditional love is and she taught Maddy the same thing. They only know self love & what benefits them. Thank goodness, Collin has a father, sister (Hannah) to show what unconditional love is and support! Kate is pure evil. She's lazy. She looks for easy money without working hard. She stole from her kids to live a lavish life. Today, she is unemployed when she could be doing, working anywhere but she believes she is too good and thinks she's a "celebrity" that she can't get a "regular" job. She'll end up with someone old with lots of money so she can inherit it. Mark my words. Jon is such a great father. It's sad that other siblings can't see that because of their mom. Same goes for the children to rekindle relationships with Collin and Hannah and see how wonderful they are. Thank you Collin for wanting to serve for our country.

I think 8 kids (6 coming all at once) was too much for Kate and she then to foolishly put herself on blast on tv for the whole world to see was her biggest mistake. She put herself under unnecessary pressure to be camera perfect and didnt have the patience for it and took it out on Jon. They'd probably have been fine but with the cameras rolling she lost her cool while Jon was just trying to be a regular guy. They seemed very much in love before the cameras came. I think Kate will look back later in life and realize the fame wasnt worth it and she behaved poorly.
This video didn’t do Collin any justice. He was the “scapegoat” child and was abused and ostracized and isolated. Kate is a narcissist and it seems Maddie must be the “Golden Child”.. so of course she would side with their narcissistic mother. Kate ruined Collin’s life for her own selfish gain.
Kate planned and did everything. Jon just tagged along and watched his phone. He never voluntarily helped to do anything. Put yourself in Kate's shoes and you might become frustrated, overwhelmed and less than patient with a spouse that always wanted to be somewhere else even before the 6 additional kids. He only wanted the twins. Ironic he ended up with just 2. Funny how he always harps on the $$$$ they made on the show when he never wanted to do the show. He even gave up his rights just so he wouldn't have to pay child support.
