One of my ride group had an OTTOLOCK (light weight strap style lock). It broke when we were at a brewery and couldn't unlock his bike so we asked the person working there if they had any cable cutters. They had a small pair that was only slightly bigger than the hand pliers you had in the video and it sliced through it like butter and the bike was free in about 15 seconds. We've never trusted those locks ever again LOL
Oofta. That's... definitely not a ringing endorsement for bike lock effectiveness. I'd love to see a middling category of these - the mid-range bike locks, not the best reviewed, and not the worst. I think most of us end up in the midrange tier, so a test might be helpful. Or sobering. Or something!
