I just want to ask a question why didn't you get the most expensive bread and free
Great challenge again guys. I’d love to see you do a “no buy” challenge where you make a days meals with only items in your pantry. Or maybe a challenge where you cook different World Cuisines. xx
Yay mushrooms and organic vegetables
The frugal in you shone through with some items , buying in bulk! Love it!
Worlds food is my favorite too . Just never much from USA
#livebutnotlive from Suite 5! Happy Mother’s Day, Katie! Cannot believe the size of that rice bag! It looks like a bag of dog food! I recently learnt that rice is the world’s most popular food, so I guess it makes sense to sell it in such large quantities.
I’ve been vegan since Wednesday and I’m loving it, I’ve been binge watching yours and family fizz food videos to get ideas of vegan friendly food, and I’m loving it so much 😊xxxx
That's great to hear! We're glad our videos are helpful

I'm back and will be catching up on the missed video's
So good to have you back! We hope you and your little one are doing well 💚🤗
@@FamilyFreedom thank you so much for the warm welcome. We are doing fine, little one is very very active and he never sits in one place even when it's time to eat. Always wants to play. I always ensure I teach him something mew everyday and he is very intelligent for his age
Hope Astrid is doing well as well x 🤗 ❤
So much fun guys well done 🌹🥰
Thanks Cheryl 😊
@@FamilyFreedom your wellcome🥰🌹
Hi I'm from Australia, wow OMG you would get nothing here for so low prices, I live in the country in NE Victoria and our supermarket is very, very expensive, fun watching you
Raining in Florida, so I'm glad I've got your show to watch. Love your program.❤🎉
Thanks April 😊
You guys love jacket potatos Bob
I watch from sheffield and i love your videos. Keep em coming.
Thank you for your kind and encouraging words Irene 💚 🤗
Would love to see what meals you make with one of these food shops :) love you guys xxx
I would love to see your opinions shopping at Morrisons with your budget.
We're going to try Morrisons very soon
I always buy in bulk when I can. In the long run it does save you quite a bit of money.
Very true Lisa 👌😊
I'd love it if you could do a challenge where you ate ready meals for a day. I live in rural Canada and we don't have anything like that here, especially not vegan ones. When you show them on your other challenges they look so good. I'd love a review!
Here in Australia it's very hard to find a variety of vegan foods. It's very frustrating.
Evening family from cape town south africa loved this video u knw I love a gud shop n I love bulk buy myself n Katie was great in choosing rice that keeps well n long n the breakup things we ladies always practical n buy things bulk that keep well n is a staple at mealtimes n Bob finally gt his num choccies I'm grown my own veg n doin more healthy scrstch meal nd I wana thank u guys for the love n support with yr videos

Hello from Roanoke, Indiana USA
Hey Janet 👋🇺🇸💙
I used to live on wheetbix
Katiesats bean around 19.34
May you get extra time from each of your bulk buys.
I love your content it always makes my day thanks for being such a great UA-camr and your shopping videos are so goood ❤️❤️
Thank YOU Emily for watching our videos! We're glad that they make your day 😊
In autumn here in australia but it’s hot. Loving the challenges
This would have been way too expensive if you did this in the US 😂 I saw the vegan ground beef was $11.99 yesterday. A small bottle of fancy maple syrup is like $16.00 and a giant thing of olive oil can be like $50 for the good quality kind.
Gosh that's quite a price difference :( It's crazy to see how food prices can vary between countries. The cost of living, import taxes, and other factors can all contribute to these differences. We wish it wasn't so expensive for food in the countries! Thank you for sharing your perspective with us :)
I am here guys! So looking forward to spending time with you ..👍👍👍💗💗💗
Thanks for watching Ava!
I couldn't concentrate at the end,I was amazed by the size of the radiator behind you!!!!😂 great video👍🏼
Well done it was so much fun
You are very good to spend so much money in one week
For the video
Take care sending lots of love xx❤️❤️❤️❤️
Knew this would be an amazing video Family Freedom and you never fail to deliver good quality videos and love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Family Freedom.
Thank you so much David 🤗
Yay for rice
Happy mothers day katie, another great vlog 🎉
Thank you Tracey!! 😊
I enjoyed watching this no budget challenge very creative idea also you should do only using a £20 voucher or vouchers to buy your weekly food shop.😊❤
This challenge will “Challenge” you as you are thrifty shopper’s by nature! Good Luck! 👍👍👍👍
You done well guys 🥰🥰
My favourite thing you bought was the Easter egg!! 😄
new to your channel and enjoying your videos. amazing how expensive things cost these days. does the food taste as good though?
Hey Anne, thanks for coming onto our channel 👍
That's a good question about the taste. In our experience there isn't always a big difference, but maybe we'll have to put it to the test in a future video 😊
amazing vlog they really cheer me up thank u guys xxx
We're glad to hear that Rachel! 👍
Blueberries like you too Katie
Loved the vid as always 👍🏼😊
So glad to hear it 💚🤗
Love your videos guys. I think I caught an undiscounted £4.60 tub of margarine @ 21:39 - 21:41 [I'd have skipped it as well tbh; not the biggest fan]
Hey, thanks for your comment. And good spot! There was a tub of margarine, but it wasn't vegan so we couldn't get it 😃
Hope you all well and having a nice weekend
We're having a lovely weekend thank you Holly! We hope you are too 💚
Im loving these videoes honestly you guys are the best. Happy mothers day katie and jamie ❤
Thank you for your kind Mother's Day wishes! We're glad you're liking these videos 😊
The title for this video is so right “extreme”. It’s so weird and crazy that only a few of your items cost as much a one of your budget food shop videos.
I wonder if there is much difference production wise (same type of product but different price ranges.
#freegang #livebutnotlive #freedomfamily 💚💚
Hey Milly, thanks for your comment! 😊
Yes, it is very interesting if there is a difference in production which would justify the price difference 🤔
I used to like the colour food shop challenges , what about … each pick a colour and have 3 meals one in each colour or what about putting the alphabet on pieces of folded paper and pick 5 papers each and then you have to make a meal using 5 ingredients ( each item starting with a letter) then the 3 of you have to pick a folded paper with either breakfast, dinner or tea written inside - THAT will make you think 🧐xxx
Love your channel and the content. Sorry I pinched your mushroom burger recipe which is fab, keep ideas coming 😊
Hey Dawn, we're honoured that you used the recipe! No apologies needed! 😊
We hope you enjoyed them 😋
Hi family freedom hope you are well and having a good day! The video I have been waiting for!
I could do with some weetabix now! 😂 but my mums not buying them as there expensive 😢. They way my mum looked up to the telly when u said £8 for weetabix😂 she was like a meerkat😂.
I see Katie's point about bulk items!
Take care
Just keep rising 💚🌻🌿
Hey Lana! We hope you're having a good day 😊
We're not surprised that your mum looked up at the telly with that price!!! 😂
Have a great week, just keep rising 💚🌿🌻
My parents ALWAYS buy their rice in bulk. We probably only but rice a couple of times a year because we always get a HUGE bag whenever we buy more rice.
In Lidl I got six huge tinned pineapple slices, SIx for £3.00! Ideal for the stock cupboard! Huge cans! 👍👍👍👍👍
Sounds great Ava, well done 🤗
Only buying stuff on club card or netca prices!
Great ideas! We actually did the Clubcard one recently, you can see the video here ua-cam.com/video/U7n9QvuL-Js/v-deo.html 😊
@@FamilyFreedom only buying stuff less then £1
Rodgers Wholesalers are selling
HEINZ BAKED BEANS 12 for £5.00 atm😮😍
Oh wow! We have to go there again!!!! 👍
It'd definitely be Manuka honey in the spreads section (if it wasn't vegan) for around £20+
Yes the honey was probably not more expensive, but honey isn't vegan so we didn't go for it 👍
Actually a really interesting video this is thank you. I always bulk buy the big rices or pastas as they do last a lot longer than smaller packs.
Hmmmm,interesting 👌🙌🤩🫶🏼🫶🏼
Yay I'm so glad you did this one too!
That's great to hear 🤗
@@FamilyFreedom I hope you had a lovely mother's day Katie. 🌻
Love videos
My favorite olive oil is $30 in America. You still got cheaper groceries than us
Love this!
I know I requested this challenge.😊
Very interesting.
Thanks for sharing😊
Thanks for watching Julie! 😊
Yum stuff 👍🩷
😋👌
9 minutes 17s there was a corn product that was £4 that would be more expensive than the berries
Good spot! Thanks for letting us know. That particular product was vegetarian and not vegan, and so we' weren't able to get it 👍
Happy Mothers Day, Katie ❤
Thank you Sophie!
Found you guys by accident, so pleased i.did.
We're so glad that you did too Mandy! Welcome the our channel! 😃
Triple cook chips are the best imo
Please could you buy all the "aldi price match" and rhen buy them in aldi and see if its actually a price match x
its insane how expensive things really are due to cost of living crisis, but great video guys live but not live from london❤
You guys should do the same challenge at aldi
Thanks for sharing I thought it be more than $200.00 you did great take care and enjoy your special meal 🫶🏾💯💚👆🏾
Thanks so much Tammie!
I definitely think Bob was an auctioneer in a previous life haha he was so good at it hahaha
but this was so interesting to see especially in comparison to the cheapest of everything video! like realistically that Haul was nearly 10 times more expensive than the other one! But I love bulk buying haha we get the keys to our house this week so when we're back from our holiday I will be on mission bulk buy I've been dreaming of the 10kg bags of rice and a rice cooker haha
I would start off with a 5kg bag first as you may get bored of rice after 2 months.
Hey Shauna! Thanks for your comment! We definitely think Bob was an auctioneer in a previous life! 😂
Yes bulk buying can definitely be beneficial. For a 10kg of rice, we'd recommend try and find a local Asian supermarket if you have one, as their prices can be great 👍
Sending love to you and your family 💚
5:57 Surely the boxes of biscuits on the top shelf e.g. Fox's would've cost more than the £3 cereal bars?
Phew nice to get healthy meals out of it.
You missed the Manuka honey down the spreads aisle..... it is up to about £20
But sadly not vegan!
Yes we were only buying vegan!
Doing a £3o oly one colour of your chose items
Loved it. I did think £100.
much cheaper than i thought xxx
Love your videos
Thank you Louise 😊
Who can buy and cook the best meal from Harrods
Great idea! 👍
Have you done any challenge in B&M?
Maybe Lego for JoJo
Hey Jane, we haven't yet, but we plan to soon 👍
Hi guys love your videos! Just a heads up the low sugar Heinze beans aren't vegan unfortunately. I was tripped up by this before. 😢 They should make it more clear.
Thanks for letting us know Stacey! We checked the ingredients on these ones and fortunately they're vegan 👍
Oh good! Crazy the foods we have to check 😂
When is the next holiday in the campervan
Hopefully very soon, we are just waiting for our van to be fixed 🤞😊
U missed something of quorn for £4
Hi Nikki, thanks for your comment. The Quorn product you may be referring to might not have been vegan, and therefore wasn't something we would have got 👍
Did making this video make you a little sick with the thought of the prices knowing you can get things for as little as 19p and your paying like £16 plus for blooming oil 🥴 rather you than me guys 😂 great job though 👏🏻 x
Hey Kirsty, thanks for your question! 😃
We felt fine doing this video, and found it very enjoyable and interesting despite the higher prices 👍
Highway to the dangerzone
wonderful nuts were 7p yall missed timestamp 7:12
Love the videos what happened to JoJo as not in this one
Who on earth buys that food. I mean yeah if you want to buy organic that’s fine. We have expensive fruit and veg and vegetables in Japan £400 for a punnet of strawberries but food are given as gifts. Such as moving in gifts. I have had those strawberries when we moved to koneji from a boss in the summer and they were to die for. Prices in the UK are getting out of hand 😊
God bless your bank account beautiful People...
oooop OH NO 🤣
Where JoJo
Why don't you do a snacks challenge. Buy the cheapest snacks. Then do a expensive snack video. Compare the prices.
🎉🎉
Pick a letter of the alphabet and only buy food beginning with that letter
Great idea Clare! Thanks for the suggestion 👍
May be do this in M&S..
what happened to the box of chocolates seen for over £10.
frozen would be a leg of lamb. in fridge were was the two meal takeaway Indian
Buy 8 potatoes for over a £5 that is total madness. what a waste of money.
and another waste of money Heinz beans. just for the name.
Now see how many days you can make meals for, just eating what you have got on the table.
They're vegan so only do these challenges with vegan stuff. half that stuff you mentioned isn't vegan so it doesn't count
Livebutnotlive from my bed in horbury bridge wakefield
💚🤗
I got noticed by one of my favorite UA-camrs Friend ☹️I don’t know what to say
People are duped into believing the more expensive, the better the product. Not true.
Very true. It's not a guarantee 👍
Think it will be £100
Hi guys, will it just be shopping challenges now? X
Hi, thanks for your question. It won't only be shopping. There will be lifestyle vlogs, food related videos, and travel vlogs, too. We mostly do shopping videos as our audience enjoys them the most and finds them the most beneficial 👍
@@FamilyFreedom fab, thansk for explaining! I must admit I do a little miss the adventure style ones, but I'm just happy to watch your lovely little family whatever you're up to! X
