Ghanaians are peaceful by nature. Unfortunately there are influx of foreigners from other African countries who are making Ghana a bit unsafe like it used to be. We used to sleep outside when it got really hot, when I was a kid .None of us had any security issues on our mind. However I don't think nowadays anyone will dare try sleeping outside at night. Good job for taking us through dark corners to show how safe Ghana still is.

Most people do stay in their homes, like here in the UK. Looks like a lovely warm evening, very nice. Thank you for sharing, looking forward to my visit. Peace and Blissings

Brilliant video. Thanks for showing us around tema at night and for bravely strolling the streets to show us the safety level in some of Ghana's major cities. Excellent video.
Kids in France and UK was significantly more threatening/violent to me than almost any situation in Ghana, even much of Kasoa. Even as an obroni, as long there are people out on the streets, it doesn't matter that it's dark,. Past midnight be very different though, but I've had plenty of altercations at that time in the small town in Norway I'm from (a country known for being quite safe), and never sensed the same kind of alcohol induced aggression in Ghana (drunk, but very chill&friendly,,, ehr, well, admittedly they were often high af too, so maybe coincidence). I almost never went alone at that time though, and my friends kinda prohibited me, so anyone reading should not take the above as basis for being moronically reckless. Cops always unnerved me, but ultimately not as bothersome as expected.
@@markntiri8251 I don't get it why you think that's somehow a woman thing. Sure, women can get in violent altercations, but my impression is that it's rare. Cops can be dirty, and the predatory type, often try to harass, or even intimidate white folks for bribes. I think it's more how you're prepared to deal with such, than your gender, since they'll club you to pulp regardless if you try a physical response ,,, and people all over the world who like to be drunk are found in droves. Smokers will tend to be drunk in a more amiable manner, both neither getting drunk, nor high, is very gender specific. If anything, my impression is that it's more prevalent among men, than women. Are you used to something radically different to the above? Mind me asking where you're from?
