    This is just my every day carry to pretty much all types of work. In my tool belt. 25ft fatmax tape, 22 0z hammer, big and small nail set, 1/2" and 1" beater chisels, small flat bar, flat head screwdriver, either 1 set red or yellow snips, random common screw tips/ always 1/8" and 3/16" drill bits for predrill, 1/4" and 5/16" nut driver tips, speed square, small file, chalk line, at least 2 pencils, quick change utility knife, small needle nose pliers, and suspension rigs. I feel that these tools are a must have for any carpentry/ handyman work at all times unless you are crawling on the ground working. Thanks Vince for sharing.

      Vince do you still have this husky bag or have you switched to something else. I have had this same bag for 4 years and love it but I had to replace it twice because the handle kept getting stuck on me, have you had any issues.

    I am a cabinet punch guy on new high rise apartments. There is no way I would survive packing that load up 14 flights of stairs each morning. In my line of work a tool bag must be lean and only have what’s prudent to the days task at hand. I can understand that load when working single family homes or TI’s in strip malls.

    I really dig the DeWalt vlogs as I am a HUGE fan of dewalt and am on track to building up my very own 20v. MAX platform. So with that being said, could you, or would you do a video on what would be the best way to get started doing that very thing?
    Also I love the way you can take "THEEEE MOST BORING THING'S "

    Thanks for that,

    • @VCGConstruction
      @VCGConstruction  6 років тому +1

      Handle has been pretty rugged for me, what happened to yours?

    • @lowvoltagedude7837
      @lowvoltagedude7837 6 років тому +1

      Overloading it and yanking it up stairs and kicking it down stairs and dragging it sometimes lol. I scraped the plastic skid on the back off. It took a beating for sure and it's really the handle that fails eventually. I know it's my fault lol. The bag was always over filled and I added out side pouches it weighs . Great bag took the abuse for probably a little over a year.
      You can actually catch that bag in my
      Milwaukee warranty video.

    Thanks Vince, this was nicely done !! It's cool to see inside the mind of the Top Dog !! How you are prepared for just about any possibility on a given job. Having a tool with you in anticipation of a problem that "could" arise. How big is the bag? What a great bag, kuddos to Husky so many pouches and sizes of them. Liked the big long side pouch that was lined that you had the scrapers in. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and videos, Rodney

    i used to go thru bags every year until i bought veto pro pac...the best bags in the business...most of their bags are over $200 but worth it. 5 year zero downtime warranty and hold up to the abuse. The only problem is they dont make bags with handles & wheels on them so if you want that style gotta buy husky for now. i own 3 veto bags and will never buy another brand after owning them.

    I have the smaller Husky rolling tool bag.. I have another husky tool bag to split the weight when I go up and down stairs . I am a bit older as well as go from apartments to apartment for repairs and remodel so splitying the weight helps, then when I get them both up the flight of stairs you put the one on top of the roller and roll down the hallway..a tip for u as you get older and the one is too heavy for up and down stairs ..

    I Love the concept of the Husky large rolling tool bag BUT I've owned 2 of them and they just won't stand up to my daily use and abuse. Both lasted less than 1 year. The handle, rollers and zipper never failed but all of the pockets ripped inside and out which leaves you with nothing but a big cavernous bag that you have to empty out every time your looking for something. I still have the bags for use at my house but for me in a commercial / industrial setting I need something much tougher than Husky builds. I now have a Veto bag. The bag itself doesn't roll but if I need to go long distances I bought a small set of folding aluminum hand trucks with non marring wheels and it's working great for me.

      Oops!, I need to set the record straight. The bag you're reviewing is the pro grade ( 1,680 denier ) and cost 129.00. The bags I owned were the same size but different quality ( 600 denier ) and cost 69.00. When I bought mine years ago Home Depot didn't have the heavy duty 1,680 denier bag. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the pro grade bag. It's much, much more heavy duty than the ones I owned. Sorry for the mix up.

    I enjoyed your construction bag videos. Between your employee's and your bag videos, I have an idea of what to have in my own bag(s) and how to set it(them) up. Just a little background; I was a medic in the Army for 23 years. Finding and organizing medical bags, I always wanted to find the best way to setup a bag for easy and organized use; especially since as a field medic, i had to carry my field gear and medical gear when away from the field ambulance.
    I'm a jack of all trades and master of none. Always want to do the job right and professionally. Just viewed and joined your channel today.

      What’re some of your best tips and advice for organization or in general field work?

      @@stitchthisditchthat259 I don't think what I did is relevant anymore. When I worked range maintenance, which is replace and repair of targetry and ranges for small arms and combat systems. I used ammo cans and mortar shell boxes. They were tough and lasted in the field. The 7.62mm linked ammo boxes were good for small storage of fasteners. Two .50 cal. Ammo cans could carry a keg of nails and were much easier to carry by their top handles. The Packout system really makes a lot of that antiquated.
      Medic bags and construction bags don't compare well, so I can't comment on that subject.
      I have done some handyman work for landlords and private parties in the past. If I get back to that gig, I am definitely going to borrow some of VCG ideas for my own setup. I think if I was still a Medic in the Army I would use the Packout system for my aid station supplies and equipment.
