I think you are the only one working on a custom OS for Arc D so thank you! It's a great handheld but Anbernic's pump and dump strategy with buggy software sucks.

I settled with Gamma OS and then installed ES-DE on it. It works pretty well and I have my savestates synced with my other Android devices.

Super excited for stable although I’ve encountered no issues with beta 10. I totally forget I can use Android. I guess I should play around with some of those games too. Thanks for all your work!
Really love the UI. I've got GG working beautifully so far with Pico Drive. Its the one that plays the translations. Big win there. And the MD is all good. SS is dubious. I broke Retro Arch messing with the options too much and had to reinstall. DO NOT MESS WITH POLYGON MODE!!! One thing I can say improved things was turning RGA Scaling on in Video settings. I got Soukyugurentai working okay but it wasnt perfect and now its all broken again. Its something to do with Retro Arch. The standalone emulator runs the games smoothly but without the necessary corrections. I wonder if Retro Arch devs can do some customizations???
Is there a way to download standalone emulators with the Arc in Linux?
@@thomashughes5159 I do not believe so. Retro Arena is custom software that does not like alot of tampering. Ive just scuppered mine again fiddling with the audio driver. The whole Retro Arch suite implodes quite easily. I think Ive concluded best settings were in place anyway. Customization by an expert needs no further customization one might agree. Just dont mess with driver options anyway. Will requite reinstall and there are alot of settings in Emulation Station that one can tailor and thats a fair bit of effort to redo. Im just waiting for the FINAL now. Will just settle for whatever SL can manage. Only thing one can really do is ensure the best roms are on there. CHD I did notice was a little bit more jittery on SFIII than the ISO using RETROARCH AUTO PERFORMANCE its almost playable if not for the terrible audio scrambling that happens. Its got quite a challening tacklist that one too. Many do work beautifully.

I've been really liking my arc-s and I tried out retroarena but its a bit janky with the wifi so retroachievements weren't working which is a big bummer
Oh also for some reason retroarch32 for saturn just stopped working all of a sudden during a playthrough of magic night rayearth, it crashed and ever since I could not get any other saturn game to run with the retroarch32 emulator
wifi should work ok?? did you use retroarch or the wifi in options to log in?
as for Yabasanshiro 32 bit, it might need you to run the permission fix scrips, or log in over wifi sftp and delete the corrupted save data, you can do that from the file manager too.

Somehow the saturn games I've tried have run worse on this than on the stock OS, namely Sega Rally and Nights into Dreams; I imagine that's the same for all the other's I would be willing to try.
I wanted to support you on Patreon but seems all development for Retro Arena stopped after March… will it continue? Or are there updates just for the Patrons?

Good job, it looks pretty good to me, I’m really thinking seriously about buying the D model, all my current handhelds aren’t all that comfortable to play, I don’t think it would be a problem with this….anyways, I was wondering if Star Wars knights of the old republic 1&2 would work on it?

Thanks for your work. This cfw is amazing. The only problem i have with it is that mine doesn't show the hdmi option to turn it on and off. I am using beta 10 test 10 on rg arc s. Do you happen to know what i could to fix it? Already tried reflashing and changind sd cards. Thank you
this CFW will have the "emulate xbox 360 controller" option to use the ARC as a controller on PC?
I have tried the latest version. I love it, but i cant save. Probably faulty sd. Though it works wonders.
What I was wondering is that if you can add MSDOS games. I think you can, but not entirely sure how.
Just want to play Lakers vs Celtics from MSdos though.
If you can help me out with that, I would be super grateful. (Not that im not already with all the work you put).

should be a pc or dos folder for those, its set up to use dosbox pure, as for not saving, probably bad write/sd yeah.
Tried to download it but keep running into an issue where it sayss download quota is full and won't let me download it.
What other android games are y'all playing on this?
Did anyone try to play Shining Force 3 Scenario 1-3 on the RG Arc with Retro Arena? I have installed Beta 10 and each Shining Force can be played until the first attack sequenz. During the changing from the attack screen to the map screen the emulator crashes down to the RA Menu.
Does it work fine on slay the spire?
Can you add fake08 core to the retro arena for the Rg353m? I can't save state with the pico version that's currently on that firmware.

I cant even turn my arc S on ive had nothing but issues trying to set it up cant you just get some version of android what a pain

@@TechToyTinkerCompany when i try to use it in Normal retroarch, all that comes up is "in-use ssid". Is there any other way to turn it on? It doesn't seem to be detecting any networks, not sure if it's even turning the wifi antenna on properly

Then we'd have touchscreen support on the Linux side too.
