Hi Jeff- This video was made a year ago, so don't know if you still see these comments or not. Worth a try. I am a newbie at this and am still confused about a basic question. : use of the SKU numbers. I use Canva. So do I make a separate design for each size and each color I am going to sell for an item and upload each to Printify? I saw on one of your videos your t shirt design page and that you had a project design for each color....then each size of that color...."Red--Small--Sku number etc." Red--Medium--Sku number..." Then on another page you had " Small--4 colors--inventory count..." I have watched a zillion videos and you have provided the most understandable info because you don't just skip or rush through the very small steps (These are the things that can really mess a beginner up!). I think that is why so many just give up. They can't get past those points. Thanks so much for your help.
quick question: is this size chart accurate for all print providers?? That was best for help. I was worried from where i can get the size chart of my print provider..
Brother, how do I get my printify products, to match, my place it mock up products? I signed up to Place it, but I don't see the exact match. I don't want to upload a mockup of something that's not the same as the printify product. Thanks man greatly appreciated.

Do you recommend using the folded T-shirt as the listing thumbnail or the full view of the tee as the thumbnail? Also do you recommend using a person wearing the tee in the thumbnail?
Hi! I personally like to use a mockup for the thumbnail that shows the full front of the garment, but I use a mix of mockups with a person wearing it and a couple lay-flat ones. I don't typically use folded mockups because a lot of my designs are larger than the area visible in the mockup when it's folded. If you have some designs that are smaller and fit in the visible area, then I think folded mockups can be fine to use though. Basically, whatever makes the design most visible in the thumbnail is what I look for, and for me it's usually either a lay-flat mockup or one of a person wearing it. Sometimes I also swap the mockup in the primary thumbnail if I create a new listing and it doesn't get many visits/likes for a couple of months.

Actually yes! When I first opened my shop, I created one listing and received an email saying my shop was suspended. I opened a case with Etsy support and they reinstated my shop about 48hrs later. I suggest being clear with them that you set up your account appropriately and have not violated any seller policies that you are aware of as you shop is brand new. It doesn’t hurt to ask if they see anything that needs to be corrected as well. I hope they reinstate your shop quickly!

Are we legally allowed to take a picture from Printify's website? I've heard the images on a website belong to the website owners/they have permission to use the photos.

Please take a look at this page and scroll down to where it says "A Note for Etsy users": help.printify.com/hc/en-us/articles/4483630220433-Where-can-I-find-size-guides- Printify suggests that we take an image of the size guide and use it in our listings, so this is perfectly safe to do. In general, it is safe to use reference images like this as long as we are not selling the image itself or representing it as our own property (which we are not - we are just using it to show size information).
Hi again. I have started adding listings to new Etsy store. I have chatted with Printful reps. but am still confused. Does Printful scale the design on all or only some tshirt brands? I am going to use Bella Canvas 3001 Unisex and Bella Canvas 6400 Women's tees. So if a customer orders an XL or 2X what happens with the design? I know I sync the product to all the different size shirts that are being offered, but again, do I need to make the graphic larger on an XL, 2X and 3X? What has been your experience? Thank you.
Hi! With Printful, I'm pretty sure they don't scale images on different sizes. Their print area is 12x16 for all garments according to responses I've seen them post to questions about this in the past. The print should look relatively the same on sizes L-3X if you filled up the entire print area with design. But on the smallest size, a full-sized graphic covering the full print area might look a little large. Since you're already having to go into each variant when making a combo-listing, it may not hurt to size the graphic down slightly on the smallest size. However, if your graphic doesn't cover the full print area (ex: mostly transparent area with a graphic in the center) you shouldn't have to downsize significantly. Printful does offer a discount on sample orders (which Printify does not) so you could always do one test order of a size S and a size L or XL to see what the difference is for a typical design that you would make.

Yes you certainly can! This option is just a way to make a unique size chart for your shop if you would like to create your own.
