    Lyrics:
We had a lot of fun
We had a lot of money
We had a little son and we thought we'd call him "Sonny"
Sonny gets married and moves away
Sonny has a baby and bills to pay
    Sonny gets sunnier
Day by day by day by day

After seeing this concert again, timeless and human in the best possible meaning of the word, restores a bit of my faith that we humans ARE capable of saving the planet and all who sail in her. Paul Simon and a few other musicians of the 60s and 70s make me feel alive again.

Like sir Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan, paul Simon is one of those people who in his lifetime has created an incalculable amount of joy across the world.
I've been blessed and fortunate to live during their time on this Earth and I have seen the two Pauls perform live in concert at Madison Square Garden 😊♥️🎼🎵🎶🎵🎸🎹🥁🎙

Same here. Ever-darn-time. for the 100th time. It's such a powerful phrase and chord combination. The signs of a genius at work. Really loved your comment confirming not being the only one being pushed to the edge of tears by a "simple line"

I always loved Paul Simon (Graceland is one of the top ten albums from the 80's in my book) but for the past 5 years( i'm 50 now) all of his musics are really starting to take a deeper meaning - to become more real in the flesh. Either i'm getting older or just receding into a "obvious child".
