You can't increase your vram like this you must have to change it from your bios settings.. Depending on your ram
thanks but i'm still wondering: your mentioned vram is called adapter ram, but Dedicated Video Memory in the Generic PnP Monitor Properties Window doesn't change while in some cases still be called vram. Which one is vram, and this adapter one really affects your graphic performance?

check your advanced display settings tab, you'll see how the vram hasn't changed. i already tried bios and different regedit settings but, at least in my laptop, the vram can't be changed. i guess ill just change my gpu

Sorry but this is not true. Graphic vram is impossible to incrase but in this way you can fool the system to think you have 1.8GB.
