In the 2nd clip there "was just a minor damage to the truck and he was driving without trailer."
Later added by the owner.
Trucker caused the damage, not the pickup driver.
The title should be changed to Car gets hit by Semi-Truck when Semi driver road rages.
@@MissX33 Jesus, get over it.
#8 needs to stay out of the left lane if not passing, and he wouldn't be getting brake checked a bunch. Just a thought. My hubs is a trucker, and he said, "Get yer ass over!" 😂
Prolly just doing it for UA-cam too
It's crazy how many people would rather hit an 80,000 lb semi truck than a hollow plastic orange construction barrel
Most of these incidents could have been prevented if the semi driver kept their cool and drove defensively.
@@chrisstromberg6527Most of them are driving defensively. Are you one of those people who gets triggered by the mere existence of trucks?
@@chrisstromberg6527 so none of these car drivers are at fault? Have you ever driven a big truck? That's possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard
In my area, those cones are the only guard before say the paved road ends or no shoulder or out bridge.
So for me it is not about the fear of cone itself. But the car destroying hole just inchs past the cone.
@@ericwilliams1659 I'm thinking the car / life destroying truck is a bigger problem tho
I do not understand why truckers, of all people, seem to give their compatriots so little room when passing. I was taught not to move in front of a truck until I could see BOTH headlights in my rear mirror.
I was taught until you can see the road below their bumper
since they started adding headrests to the seats in back, it delays that "see BOTH headlights" just a bit more, so it gives you more space when changing lanes. you COULD see both if the headrest wasn't in the way
That's true!
Raging at a semi just gives off “fuck around find out” energy.
It spells the opposite it spells someone who’s never found out
I mean, I got a few spare pickups lying around. One good sideswipe and that semi is coming into the ditch with me...I guess both us found out, huh?
Driving a semi doesn't give you a special license to do whatever the hell you want on public roadways...either apply the same standards to everyone or STFU, fanboy...
@codymoe4986 I’m not saying semis can do what ever they want I’m just simply saying how it’s a bad idea to mess with a vehicle that weighs 70,000-90,000lbs, it’s common sense. So many things can go wrong for both parties.
@codymoe4986 it doesn't give anyone the right like you said but if you fuck with someone who doesn't give a shit or has nothing to lose. You will die and the truck could keep going like it never happened. Don't be stupid man, you might have spare pick ups but you only have one life. Don't be dumb, having an ego war with a semi ain't worth it.
@@codymoe4986 - Cause wrecks much? I think there is a mud bog, ditch, or heavy vehicle out there with your name on it. When karma comes for you be sure it will be swift hard and you will need emergency surgery to get the spare tire amputated from your ahole ha ha. You are the guy who did not find out yet. Be courteous and decent. Its better that way.

I am a truck driver too, with 14 years under my belt, and I don't condone his actions. If he speaks three languages that's because he didn't grow up to be a truck driver and he's just doing it because he's what us veteran drivers refer to as a "New Age Driver" and there's nothing worse on the roads today.
I hate people who just left lane hog. If you guys are not passing on the left, move over so other people can pass.

#8 Keeps getting passed as he sits in the fast lane. Hmm.
It's not the fast lane, it's the passing lane. Calling it the "fast lane" makes people think they can just hang out there for going 5 over the limit.
It's the "passing lane" because speed is irrelevant. If someone is trying to pass you, you move over when it's safe to yield to the traffic going faster than you.

The semi with the fake hood scoop made me laugh
Knowing the owners of a couple of trucking companies it’s quite obvious why they say it’s hard to find good drivers now.
And why trucking companies will do almost anything to keep good drivers!!
If they pay above average then they have my sympathy.
#8 just hanging out in the passing lane "wHy DoEs evErYonE hAte ME?"
I used to extend every courtesy possible to truck drivers because it's not an easy job. Over the past several years, though, I have been cut off so many times by big trucks on purpose and for no reason that I no longer try to make their life easier.
Don’t be courteous, be predictable. This is hands down the safest thing for everyone.
Maybe open your eyes , there are reasons
Not a good idea. You will lose every time.
I concur, they are no longer professional drivers, just steering wheel holders.
@@TruthHurtsFAFO - It's not difficult to be predictable and courteous. In fact, being predictable is a courtesy.
1:12 Yeah the pickup was an idiot and asking for trouble but I also believe the Semi or camer intentionally ran them off the road in the end.
Yes, it appears they used that 80,000 to commit a felony assault. That's a great way to lose your job and license all in one go.
And what if the semi driver slammed on his brakes to avoid the brake check and causes an accident behind them? The pickup driver ain't pulling over thats for sure and then he throws stuff at the semi too? F around and find out.....
He asked for it. Semi drivers can act foolish too.
The pickup driver was an idiot. The semi driver was a criminal.
Trucker will be LUCKY if he doesn't lose his license pulling a stunt like that.

@@greenmanjph My mom drove a truck for 20 years. I have first hand experience with truck drivers, and while they are certainly not a monolith, there's definitely some stereotypes. It is not at all uncommon to come across a trucker who fancies themselves "a quiet genius who chose the simple life", or something to that effect. Stories of what an amazing life they've lived, like they were some high level engineer who knows all these incredible things, or they had a $20 million business but decided to go into trucking...all just falsehoods and wild embellishments to placate their heavily bruised ego so they can avoid facing the fact that they simply drive a truck and that's all they've ever amounted to. Certainly no shame in it and it's an essential function for which I'm grateful they all do, but at the end of the day, let's just acknowledge all it really is to keep these type of guys in check.
it gets him dash cam footage to go slow in the left lane
In number 1, after the collision and right at the very end of the clip, looks like someone else kissed the center guardrail in an unrelated crash.
Happy new 2024 year Dashcam Lessons. Let the mayhem begin.

Gotta get through that work zone as quickly as possible before someone starts working on my driving skills.

#1 is so funny, at the end they're just like "ok pal thats enough lets move ya off the road here real quick"
9.3 is a good example why you should never tailgate a semi, if there was a car up on the bumper like more 4 wheelers like to do they would have pieces of tire in their windshield

#8 hasn't yet figured out that staying in the left lane pisses people off.
I was about to say... All 3 clips are him driving way too slow to be in the passing lane and hes getting passed by pissed off drivers. What does he expect/
Same as #11. Some truckers are incompetent. No wonder some can't understand basic common sense or have any type of intelligence or actual skill to purse a proper career. Instead buying some CDL that most people can obtain. Unfortunately, stupid will always be stupid.
3:13 "Gee why do people keep cutting me off when i'm going 30 , camping in the left lane?"
I rented a car in France recently and was very impressed by the truck drivers over there, always driving the speed limit and stayed in the right lane except when passing.
Most company trucks in America are speed limited. So you can easily get stuck in the left lane. Speed limiters put lives at risk, glad I left trucking.
@@angelgjr1999 In what way do they put lives at risk? Seems to me (not a truck driver though), that if they're limited to 50/55mph it's safer if not only for stopping distance in case they get distracted or something happens in front.
@@Itamem0no You get paid by the mile. Which leads to tons of drivers running their full 70 hours a week. Speed limiters are dangerous because it makes it hard to pass slower trucks.
In Germany all Trucks are limited too 100km/h(62miles) and they are often not even allowed to leave the right lane, this leads to a good overview for anyone else and the need for a truck to overtake another is creatly reduced..... This s Truck speeding in this Vids is in part scary and dangerous. @@angelgjr1999

What did #6 do wrong?
Same. But if I was an independent owner-operator, I'd be as bad as #2. Good driver, just doesn't put up with idiots.
A couple of these weren’t the truckers fault though….
#4 is definitely an idiot..
Maybe a few were offense-free, but most could have been more defensive in the first place.
8.1, .2 & .3: Having lived in Germany for three years, the cardinal rule of the Autobahn is to always--ALWAYS--yield the left lane to faster moving traffic. KEEP RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS is not just a saying on a sign. Back in the states, I always move right, but sometimes I come up behind a truck driver who is just a normal 4-wheeler sitting in a big rig with no training about how to correctly use the roads, causing along in the left lane with the right lane completely clear. Maybe it's because there's a shortage of drivers, but in any case, I rarely pass a truck on its right side. So today we see one of those truckers who can't stand not being in the left lane--are you from New Jersey or New York?--and here he/she is, getting brake checked by other 18 wheelers! and cut off aggressively by truckers forced to pass on the right. LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!
Not in the US. Some states have started enforcing keep right except to pass but it's not very often. If they did traffic flow would improve dramatically.
@@davidknight3249 sadly, 100% correct. Not in the US. Don't get me wrong; I've been driving for 45 years, High School Driver's Ed in Indiana. Shocked the gym teacher/driving instructor when I merged onto I-80/I-94 by flooring the car in the acceleration lane to get to 65 mph--he freaked out like I was pretending to be Mario Andretti! I said, "I thought we were supposed to merge at speed with the other traffic" but I guess that wasn't good enough for him. You know the drill: if someone's behind you, they want to go faster than you, so let them by. In 10 minutes they're either 7 miles up the road, or you're passing them one more time. But nothing to get worked up over.
@@hunterjohnson7393 It's everywhere in Europe, trucks aren't allowed on the left lane in many places in France for example (when you have 3+ lanes) and many times they aren't allowed to use the left lane in dual carriage. It's an offense.
2:47 In the UK holding a phone except in an emergency is an offence that gets points on your licence. The young driver in front should have been using it hands free.
Unfortunately it is not enforce as I see many people playing with their phones while driving here in the UK.
Same as in the US and Canada. It's an offence that...
It’s the same just about everywhere. Although ppl still do it… everywhere
here in the states its also illegal for trucks to be in the left lane.
nobody should ever be using their phone while driving outside of route tracking, the conversation is the distracting part that causes poor driving not holding a device. Hands-free should also be illegal.
My husband has driven a big truck for 30+ years and we always believed that truckers look out for one another. They are like a community of brothers and sisters. Long haulers that try to keep each other safe and out of trouble with the law. Seeing this shows me that not only has My world changed in the last decade, the Trucker world has changed as well and not for the better. It's every man for himself, sadly, now. Where is the world headed to??? Only God knows.
#8 I think all of the people that are passing you on the right are telling you to stay out of the passing lane
It’s funny how fast these 18 wheelers stop after a collision but claim they can’t stop that fast before
Has to do with physics. Safest home-type demonstration I can come up with would need an R/C car, a towel, and a wall. Rig the towel as a funnel, held down, and send the R/C car through it at some (fixed, ideally) speed--it'll take a bit to stop. That's like truck brakes, they'll slow you then stop you. Add mass to the car, same speed, it takes longer to stop. Move the car faster, it'll take longer to stop. Slower, shorter. Tighten the towel (improve the brakes) and it'll stop a bit faster. Now... bounce it off of a book or your foot into the towel. A lot of the momentum gets absorbed by the impact. If an air line gets knocked loose as well, that helps a bit too as it triggers the brakes on.
Or, to put this all a much shorter way: What stops you faster, 5 axles worth of brakes that are guaranteed to slide even when they're working or 1.5 tons of idiot 4-wheeler that just cut you off?
10.2 I had a family member bend over to pick up a granola bar they dropped while driving, drove right into a telephone pole at full speed and was never the same mentally again. If you drop something PULL OVER! Do not grab for it! I feel like that should be common sense but apparently not smdh.

3:14 so you have 3 videos on here all where youre camping the left lane and getting passed by everyone in the right. then youre shocked when people try to get you back into the right lane. theres a saying that you sometimes see on some dump trucks and it says "if i pass you on the right, youre in the wrong lane". so maybe the issue isnt all the people trying to get you back into the right lane but actually you.

I know there isn't. That's not we're talking about. We're talking about the rules/laws of the road. Having some maturity is also required. I see you lack certain disciplines. It's time to grow up. It's time to go full adult bud. We know you don't drive like you make out. For some reason you think being a dick is cool or funny or something. Make 2024 the year you do something with your life. Stay safe.@anidiotmakesthings
Some of these people aren't in the wrong, but are making a point about the cammers being bad drivers, i.e. 5:15 where trucker is in the passing lane going slower than the speed of traffic. Driver even turns signal on and off before speeding up to tell the truck to move over, so cars behind him can pass legally.
I don't know what clip you're talking about but 5:15 wasn't it.
2:44 That looks like I-95 in Miami, so I'm not surprised by the bad driving.
0:18 did something else happen up ahead? There is a load of dust kicked up in the air by the barrier ahead and possibly debris on the ground/road?
#8 - why exactly are you hogging the left lane long enough that other truckers are undertaking you at a significant difference in speed?
He's probably just doing it for UA-cam content or to be spiteful and get revenge on cars.
Or he is just foolish that doesn’t even know how to drive properly by simply keeping to the right hand lane to allow other cars to pass if the truck is not passing.
You just know, Google (or Elon Musk) has something to do with it. 😵💫 🤔🤫
@@WXSEDY weirdo
I thought it was very interesting that even semi-trucks cut-off and brake check slow moving semi-trucks in the left lane. Maybe this is a hint to get the heck out of the left lane except to pass.
#1 And that's why, folks, road construction workers use TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) when there are road work in progress...
Can anyone explain me why I can see that drivers in USA drive on the left lane when they are clearly not overtaking and right lane is empty? They force others to undertake them and they get upset about it
Do I miss driving OTR…¿
Hell NO..!!!
I can't believe how many ppl will brake check a semi-truck... a feeling of power maybe, but a game you can't win..
Half of the professional drivers could use more caution.
Lol, the song on the radio is very fitting @ 1:41
I wish that part of drivers instruction included first hand experience in how much more distance it takes to come to a stop with a heavy load.
If #8 is the same guy they are telling you to get the fuck out of the left lane.
I used to work in a truck stop and heard the truckers cussing out 4 wheelers. Now I understand. Some people think an 18 wheeler is as maneuverable as a car and can brake quickly too.. WRONG !!!!
