Great tips, thanks! At 13:10 you don't have to draw a new line to extrude along an edge (extra step), just place F on the edge and tap Shift, it will create tangent line, parallel to the edge. Freestyle is so powerful indeed :)
Mate, right in the very beginning, once you use Alternative Duplicate with Alt+D, just immediately use Ctrl+D and set the centre point on the back of the cutter, and now move to the surface you wanna decal it into, and click to place it, and proceed from there :) You can scale it accordingly right after the duplicate is placed by hitting the S key and moving the mouse up or down, and you can place multiple items quickly this way. Edit: pretty psyched you're making Plasticity tuts tbh mate, and would definitely be interested in a course from you...
@@PonteRyuurui nice - glad you got it sorted mate! It is a pretty rad feature. I like your idea of making a decal file with multiple cutters in it too.
Thanks for your vids, very intriguing and informative. Sometimes I have a weird pixel grid that I cannot get rid of, grey lines with red vertices. In scene are only solids, so not sure what that is. No one has ever mentioned these in their vids, and iv watched like a hundred.
You should divide each tip into sections in the video timeline. We may have to come back a few times to remember a specific tip and it would be a pain to search through it every time we need to revisit it
In one video you devided a face with a shortcut. It makes an edge in this face. You moved the line and clicked and it was there. I m looking several hours to do this
well, the Beldner subreddit ran out of steam (it's what happens when one is out of shape and propelled by hot pockets), so we decided to expand our reach in search of new free advertising campaigns
