That was a classic bit there Andy. Hahaha I loved it. That old iron is awesome. I'm amazed by the old mechanical stuff. I think the new electronic stuff is nice and makes things a lot more efficient but you can't beat the old iron. It's good to see Andrew out there running equipment and helping out on the farm. I think that builds character and teaches responsibility. Your a good dad Andy.
Awesome video! Love the sound of those old tractors. Sure dont make em like that anymore! Sadly. Gave me goosebumps listening to this video! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the ride along Andy, good to see at least one of the many crops end for the season. Everyone is working hard to get the job done, Jered really did a nice job rebuilding the 4620, always good to see the old iron being productive 👍👍
Hey, I'm from California and I'm laughing my ass off, after hearing Greta's narrative in the middle of this video. Andy, you are slowly creeping up on hero status in my book. Keep up the good work!
Nice tractor for restoring Nate. You guys work hard and you play hard. l lmao around 13:30 when you were focused on loading bales and Jared was in the background rolling coal. LoL Reminds me when l turned up the pump on our 686.
@@stephensoemann3576 actually theyd be fairly cool, they act like a gas in some regards, more fuel like that actually cools them down, if you leaned it out im sure itd blow some flames out the stack, though it doesn't bother too much so long as you let it cool afterwards.
Great video, nice to see them good auld tractors out working, good job feeding the trees with all that carbon too. That’s a real nice original looking model A.
Love the distinctive sound of the old girls, it reminds me of when I was growing up and I'd see my dad vaulting over the fence and doing the 100 yard dash back to the farmyard after coming in for a coffee break only to hear my grandad coming up in his pride and joy that was his IH B414
nsgkuaov Snowflake is a 2010s derogatory slang term for a person, implying that they have an inflated sense of uniqueness, an unwarranted sense of entitlement, or are overly-emotional, easily offended, and unable to deal with opposing opinions.
nsgkuaov ya dairy farmers feel under attack. It doesn’t help when you have commercials that say xyz company reduced green house gases by changing diet they feed to beef cattle. Someday dairy farms will have additional paper work to file on how they manage slurry.
Used to own a 4620. You lug em down, 1500 rpms or below. They smoke like hell, want pull shit. I do realize he was doing this purposely for the video. It's amazing to me how little it takes to entertain some people. But as long it gets views. All is well in youtube world.
It seams to handle it well once its revd up. I think he was trying for some smoke to get greta all twisted. Reminds me of running the tub grinder, neighbors could see black smoke for miles.
Smoke cool to watch only bad part about it is it leaves soot on the cylinder wall and the piston will drag it into the oil on it's way down that's why they claim the newer ones that don't smoke can run so much longer between oil changes
Love that team the old girl has to much power lol , love to drive it under load, I drove a ford county here in NZ pulling two sets tandem discs and chain harrow the pipe glowed at night but we did three passes in one ,the old girl loved it
I really don’t care how much fuel that 4620 burns, it’s sweet. And I take my hat off any man that chooses to bale on an open station when a cab tractor is available.
I use to mow with a 1945 John Deere A. We had two of them. The first one we got was before I was born. They had a farm hand on it. It only had one big tire in the front. By the time I got old enough to drive it we were putting up small bales with. We had a butcher on the baler and my dad would run into a pile and then we would get off and stack a bunch of bales in the basket. Then dad would go into the stack yard which was out in the middle of the field and push the small bales off. When I got old enough I could believe how hard turn the steering wheel was when it was loaded. I nearly had to stand on the side of the wheel to get it to turn. Lololo
Yep good on ya mate, with all the moans an growns comments, Hay making is food for the animals we all benefit from an the machinery is very helpful.Cheers from Rotorua (New Zealand)
I'm sure there aren't many tree huggers that watch your channel, but if they do, can you imagine the thought going through their pea sized brain !!!! Great Video !!
jerad had that old gils just singing that motor was happy any old farmhand or heavey eq operator can hear when a motor is happy and giveing her all thanks from western wa brian
What can we say Andy,.....You and Jered are NAUGHTY!!! I am learning not to be drinking anything during your videos,.....so I don't have to buy a new keyboard or screen, from being sprayed from laughing so much.
No fluffy kittens got harmed in the making of this video, however local fire departments spent hours looking for a fire not to be found lol

One lonely farmer was saying there was a storm coming in , turns out it was you guys baling straw again with the 4620 . LOL . never gets old
4620 looking good, sounds healthy!! Nothing runs like a Deere!! Excellent Drone shot. Keep them coming. Be safe!!
I can smell all that unburnt diesel here, and i live in Finland.

Andy great video. Love the sound of straight pipes. You need to invite Greta to your farm for a day and let jr show her what work is all about.
I can’t even imagine what’s the EGTS were when it was smokin for that long.
why
@@cs-gj3yf soot = over fueling and too much fuel causes high exhaust gas temps.

Thinking the same. Have you hugged your tree today!
Love the channel. I think it's time for a new T-shirt. 4620 smoking, "how Deere you" underneath it.
That's an idea
I'd buy it just to melt the snowflakes 😂
Watching that clutch lever bouncing around while the A idled brought back memories. Keep that coal rollin, your videos are great!
Love it! I can hear the tears hitting the bamboo floors.
One hell of a show dam locomotive in process thanks Jerred
Absolutely love the sounds! Sure wish my 4052m Deere sounded like that!
all that choochin reminds me of the golden age of steam locomotives.
This video made me smile the whole way through,
I can smell the diesel fumes in this video and I love it.
I love it. One of my favorite videos thanks Andy
Thumbnail and title had me thinking the 4620 burned up like Onelonelyfarmer's 4960....
Andy. You took me back to my genoa days. I thank you for that sir
Can hear it work on every Plunger cycle haha, nice whip!
This is a prime example of the phrase "just because you can don't mean you should"

Tractor pulls with a sled have the same black exhaust. U and your boy have the same work ethic. Awesome
it was a great job on the rebuild of the 4620 to take that load

My dad had one but I think it was newer then nates and he had a B farmall that my brother still has
