I hate to be a critic, but this aos doesn't work, the oil filler is pressurized by pcv so the oil vapors go right to the turbo inlets. You guys have great products but this isn't one of them.
I have used the Grimmspeed aos in my 2017 STi right under 500whp for almost 2 years now. I have heard many say it's no good so after awhile I started pulling my top mount and turbo inlet to show everyone there is no oil. Now I have a Cobb 20g and Cobb front mount so it's easier to pull apart. If this is installed correctly and you use a funnel to add your oil don't let it spill in the hoses this is a very very effective AOS I have yet to go easy on my car and 2 years later the Grimmspeed out performs any who wants to compare. NO oil ever in the intercooler not in the turbo and my car does not get low on oil like it used too.
Thats great to hear Brian. Thanks for sharing your positive experience! It really all comes down to the climate you are running the AOS in and how well you maintain the vehicle. All aos's are subject to some amount of blow-by and we are confident that when installed correctly, our aos does just what it was designed to do.
I was looking for a video to install injectors for a long time! This completely took my fear away of doing it myself. Very well explained and shown! I'm already running a stage 2 but since I'm also going to put in injectors and intake this video came in extremely handy. I hope somebody is willing to help me. Would you say you could do injectors without taking out the intercooler?
How do you reinstall the tgv motors is there is a specific way to do it. I heard 90 degrees and preload to the right? They don’t show how to do it anyone have an idea also heard that the ecu will correct the position once turned on?
So I know this comment section is long dead as this video was posted more than 2 years ago. But a quick question if anyone is here. I need help. I’m trying to install new injectors in my 2016 WRX… how similar is the WRX layout compared to the STI layout ?
The WRX is direct injected, where as the STI is port injected, so very different setup. Give our customer service team a call so we can talk you through the options.

The build is coming along nicely. The AOS is a MUST in these cars. Now you have me thinking about doing flex fuel on my FA20 again..hehe
Thanks! We like where the build is going too. Yes. The AOS is going to do wonders for this one!

so going stage 2 no need to upgrade fuel rails and fuel lines? just injectors/pump, and regulator?
If you are just going stage 2 you can use stock fuel rails and lines.
Where you from? To do a fuel line for flex fuel, injector, pump, etc how much would it be.. new to the game.. I have 13 wrx sti.. ty
Joseph Iguban install yourself, labor is expensive 👀
So what do you do with the vacuum line that you disconnect from the fuel rail. Cuz I have no clue if I need to t it off of something else.
did you need to use the oem ring on the bottom of the injectors? or you dont need it cause it wont fit right lol just plug and play?
Thanks for these videos! I'm gathering the same exact parts and will be installing soon so these should help! 👍
Awesome! Glad you can use these videos as a reference! If you have any questions while you are working on your build, feel free to give us a call.
@@GrimmSpeed definitely will thank you I have your 38mm ewg going on as well as 3 port EBCS 😁👍
How much horsepower did it make after all the installations were made!

@@GrimmSpeed Hey! Thank you ! That would be amazing !!
Are they top feed or side feed
These particular ones are top feed.
You skip the part where you actually install the injectors. Maybe rethink the title.
Yup terrible install video
Like & Subscribed!
How you feel about 2015+ STi owners saying 5w-40 is an adequate motor oil for the stock EJ block?
I used OEM oil for 80k and just started using 5W40 since it’s getting hotter and I might add Killer B Headers
Got damn white boy that second beat as funky as a STI with no cats.. ask me how I know. Ej love💜
What a nightmare of a job.. have to take apart half the engine
Looks nice thou
So close, you guys didn't really show which hose goes where... What a Headache.
